Bioware completes the Chtulu mythos ripoff , First ME was shadow over insmouth, ( Saren was the protagonist,indocternated people are the deep ones and sovreign was dagon).



ME2 is The mountain of madness , Shepard goes to an uncharted place where ancient creatures lives that only want to destroy humanity,Shepard crew might get killed there , In the book there was only two survivors..)



ME3 will then be Call of Cthulu , Shepard must find a way to destroy the reapers by researching about them in forgotten places and document from the protheans or old citadel history log files.

Maybe even Shepard will have to fight reaper cults.



Only difference would be that we win.

Reapers attack the citadel only to realize they they were meant to attack Bioware's character design studio for making them look like giant pieces of sushi

- Shepard actually died and is a ghost, but realizes this only in the end when reaper business is concluded and s/he finally can "let it go". Go to teh light Shepard.

"He's going to kill us" said the reapers "I will shoot at him" said Harbringer. He fired the rocket missiles. Shepard used overkill and tried to blew them But then the ceiling fell, and they were trapped and not able to kill."No! I must kill the reapers" he shouted "No, Shepard" the radio said "You are the reapers" and then Shepard was a collector general.

Worst possibly plot twist huh ....

[The Good] Shepard is the reincarnated Jesus Christ and will die on the Mass Relay for the sins of the galaxy. In the game epilogue we see the Krogon follow him with the symbol of the Presidium Fish ; Oh and don't forget Ash is elected the first Pope because she thinks he's a god anyway

Edit: I have other examples but I figure the ban stick will hurt enough as is -- No offense intended to any religious or non-religious groups

The reapers were made up by cerberaus as an excuse to expand their control over the galaxy and they then set about enslaving and dominating the alien races.



Shepherd then has to fight cerberaus which would be much easier

The council is right. Saren tricked Shepard and is actually still alive. The Reaper fleet is just an ooooooptical illuuuuusion.

When you first discover the Reapers they do air quotes and say "Ah Yes, the Concil. A gathering of three people that define the fate of the galaxy. I think we've made it quite clear on our say on them."
