Hey guys. I've beaten ME2 twice now and I just started my third play through. What I did wrong was forget to redo my Shepard's face to decrease cheek gaunt. My question is, if I click the option to change my imported ME2 Shepard's face will it give my current face model as the easle, or the default Shep becuase I dont remember my exact face specs. As alway, thanks for any help given.:)

Errm, if it resets (which I think it does) couldn't you just re-import the file?

Edit: If you're on PC it should say what your face code is in the ability screen (if my memory is right).

Just use the code that is given and work from there.

no, you won't be able to use your import face as the template. and your import face code won't be saved, either. for some reason, on ME1 imports codes show up as the default code.

Wait, so if I import my Me2 character and want to change his face I have to start from scratch?

On any new game, you either go with the default face (whether it's the default face for a new game or an imported face), or you scrap the entire thing and start from scratch. There's no way to tweak an existing face unless you have the Face Code. If you do have the Face Code (found in the upper-left corner of the Squad Screen in-game), then write it down, and when you import, select the 'Customize Face' option. Put in the code to tweak your existing face.

If you don't have the Face Code, or you can't change the face on your import (not sure how it works on a New Game+), then you're SOL.

Maybe I'm not understanding this correctly - but is there a way to see my face code in ME2 so that I can recreate it with tweaks? I have several ME1 imported faces that I'm using that I would like to tweak a bit but figured I'd never be able to get them right in the new creator.  I don't see anything in the squad screen (xbox).

Does this work on the 360?

As far as I'm aware, ME1 didn't have a Face Code on the Squad Screen. The impression I got from the OP is that he's finished the game and trying to do a NG+. Sorry for the confusion.

I'm trying to port a ME2 character that I beat the game with, but I want to change one part of his face. The question is whether or not I can use that ME2 face as a templet or if I have to start over with the default John Shepard face.

If you're trying to import a ME2 character, with NG+, you can use the face code from the first playthru, but you will have to write down the face code by loading an old save, go into the squad menu, and in the upper left of the screen will be the face code.  Write down the code, import, go to customize face, input the code, and tweak from there.

It will start new; but you can get around it.  Click custom face and before you change anything scroll all the way to the bottom and click on the face code button.  That will give you the code for your current face, write it down and then start a new custom face and enter the code back in (you can just type it in to the face code box again).  Then you can start editing your old model.

The code is really small and hard to read on the squad menu.  So if you're having a hard time reading it, the method I posted above will give you the code in a far more legible form.
