The majority of my portraits, including the one I had in use,  disappeared into thin air while I was posting elsewhere on this site yesterday.

I play 'offline' dragon age since a couple of days, since I got sick of the 'unable to connect to storage server' messages. I did *not* change anything in my profile, nor did I delete any characters either here or on my computer.

Can anyone shed light on this?

I guess this means it isn't some glitch which will solve itself? How sad.

Seems I forgot to register my Awakenings on the site here. I wonder if that has something to do with the upload of characters, since I guess you are not allowed to upload awakening information if you haven't registered it, but that is just wild guessing.

Presumably because nobody has stickied it. I haven't requested it because it's presumptuous and I hotlink the thread anyway. The value of stickification, at least for less specific things, is also debatable, as seen by the numerous recurring questions in this forum (although that is probably partially because of the suboptimal search).

You can upload whether the game is registered or not (I theorise you don't even need a BSN account). This began long before Awakening's release anyway. I did notice, however, that Awakening has uploaded a second, unique version of the only character I've played -- I don't know why that happened.

Ah it started before Awakenings was out. So much on random theories then. Sad to see there are still so much 'I don't know why that happened' issues with the site though.

Edit: the wonders of quoting here also never ceases to amaze me.

I was posting today and my avatar (Raetria) disappeared for no reason. Profile diagnostics has no codes, so no idea what happened.
