I'm looking for help with two parts of this mod. Both are minor roles which work are clearly defined already. Link to project here.

[Artist]
The mod will try to combine map navigation with gameplay puzzles and storytelling. I'm looking for someone who can create visually appealing dungeon maps and integrate gameplay hints into it. Most of this is defined, but I'm definitely open for creative suggestions.

If you are interested, please send me a PM and I will explain the idea further. Please apply any earlier mod experiences and/or examples of your work.

[Writing]
I need help with writing of journals, diaries and notes. The rough outline/content of these are already set, but creativity thrives with limitations so it should be a fun process nonetheless. The mod is short, so I don't think the total word count will exceed any more than 2000 words.

The story in the mod doesn't take itself too seriously. The theme for the mod is a mix of horror and black comedy. This might be a challenging theme to write.

[From the project description]
Episodic content
- 30min per
- Built from the ground up (using official assets)
- Focus on gameplay content
- More unique loot, bosses and puzzles

The episodes are meant to be completed in 30 minutes or more. Focus on quality over quantity to make the best of the player's time. The gameplay areas are rich with secrets, details, trivia, treasures and other means to encourage player exploration. Designed with replayability in mind, replaying the episode again will give a new experience.

[Episode description]
This episode is taking place in an abandoned elven temple that has been repurposed to produce a narcotic substance from spider weave. The responsible alchemist has become overly involved in her project and gone to more extreme lengths in order to maximize her production. She soon utilized the magic of shapeshifting to turn elvish slaves into web-producing monstrosities, further maximizing her production.

The player arrives at the point which things are getting out of hand. He/she can complete the dungeon from two completely different perspectives which significantly affects the story for the next episode.

As you can see, some self-irony should serve this mod well.

[Contact]
I've received some offers of people who want to help with scripting, area design and so forth. While I'm humbled and grateful for the offers I've received; I'm trying to keep this mod as small as possible in terms of members. Too ambitious mods and team size have a tendency to fail. I'm only seeking help with areas I absolutely cannot do myself.

Please apply any earlier references of work or prior storytelling/artistry experience. I cannot base myself solely on the PMs received.

Still looking for that writer.

An update on the mod:
The mod is about 70% done.

I've created a video to test a boss encounter, to get a rough outline of what works and what doesn't. This is still very WIP; most of the VFX, art and audio are placeholders. There are some visible bugs and animations not working correctly. It still gives a good idea of how the encounter will work. Since after the video, I've added another phase to change the situation to make sure the player doesn't get comfortable. I'll re-upload a new video once I feel it's a significant enough change. The talent being used is one of the talents that I've created for the module, you can see it here

Here's a link for Youtube (press 720+expand).

Hmm.... looking for a writer, eh? Write and tell me a bit more, if you will. As I understand it, you're looking for someone who can put together journal 'entries' that tell a sort of story, and help to progress the plot.

My email is JHByrne@hotmail.com

August is a busy month for me (I'm military reserve). So, send me that email as quick as possible, and it will give me some time to think it over.
