I've been trying for the past few days to create an account with the new bioware store. I have tried three different computers (Windows, OS X, Ubuntu) with Opera, Firefox (Windows, OS X, Ubuntu), Safari (OS X and Windows), and even bloody IE. I have cookies enabled on all of them, etc. Whenever I try to create an account, I get a notice that reads:
"The account you are trying to create already exists, but with a
different password. Click link omitted to log in using the original password,
or register using a different email address."
When I then try to sign in, I get a "Incorrect email or password. Please correct your email and password, or register if you are a new customer." messgae. I know the account has been created, since if I click the forgot your password link, it shows me the password hint I entered.
I know this isn't a problem with my email address already being registered because I've tried seven of them. I even created two specifically for registering. I know it's common practice to send an activation email of sorts, but I never get one (the account creation error message makes me believe it's never getting sent out). I specifically sent up a brand-new account with no filters to see if the mail was getting directed to a junk folder, but I never received a message.
All I want to do is buy a N7 hoodie, but I can't even register
