 After many failed attempts at trying to make an Asian-like character, I may have finally achieved a degree of success. I'll bring her in here for some welcome critiquing. So here's...well, I haven't decided a name for her yet, but here's my human noble:

Now that I've gotten far enough to actually meet him, my personal take on Zevran. Don't necessarily know what I'm doing with male morphs, FYI.

Oblivionator435: Narrow the Jaw a bit, narrow the Nose Tip a bit, de-poof the Lips a bit, & pull back the Nose Tip a tad. That might not be everything to fix her, but i'm not the toughest of buggers at Noses. You may need assistance from others here as well. She's a good start.

yasuraka.hakkyou: He's kinda cool! Though he could be Zevran's Dad every bit as much as Zevran. It wouldn't be improbable for Zevran to be a chip off the old block.

Petehog: She looks like a teenage Leliana. Could she be a foresight of Leliana's future daughter...?

mochen.. Locien looks arrogant, and somewhat dangerous! great base. I might work with his mouth abit.. it looks a little out of wack.
Bryony... I like the Ferelden peasant look.. she is a gorgeous country girl

Your take on Zevran.. he's much handsomer, in my opinion, than the vanilla Zev.  especially the eyes.

marquiseondore...  Ondine, I ike her, she's a unigue and pretty young lady, but may I suggest to lower her lips just a little..

Caladhiel..  Anaeth is simply STRIKING.. I am very fond of the catish eyes and using a heavier brow to frame them is brilliant...  lovely creation.

NubianIbex...  she's very pretty but, the lower third of her face looks just a little out of porportion to the rest of her

Tyrax... Anri.. in game..'bout time and she is as sweet as a spotted puppy under a park bench.. (that is a compliment in case there is too much of a generation gap) She is really a nice design.. Huu yah!

ELE08... Fiona.. I like the top version best.. she is beautiful... on the bottom it looks like a different character entirely.. but where did you get that dress??

Eudaemonium.. just discovered creating characters in the toolset???  Kallian Tabris is a good indication of the fact you've got talent.. great creation..

You know, a while back you accused me of copying your Leliana morph as well (in the Leliana thread). I am curious to know just what your Leliana looks like that she can look like so many people's morphs. I am just wondering because my Leliana looks nothing like Petehog's Leliana.

I mean the saying on my character from Awakening. It says do not use pasted all over the top of her forhead. It doesn't happen in Origins but only Awakening.

@ mochen: You know, I always thought it was a sham that there wasn't a human commoner origin. I have to say, Bryony looks very young and cute. The freckles are definitely a nice touch Oh, and your screen composition is perfect! (Love the peasant clothing). Also, Twyla is still very lovely

@ LadyAly: I like your elven male - he looks sweet and a little worried at the same time Very nicely done! And male elves are the hardest, too (for me anyway).

@ marquiseondore: Aw, do you have pretty full lips, too? She looks so young and baby-faced: wonderful work!

@ Caladhiel: I think Anaeath is brilliant! She looks young, but aggressive. I find her eye color/shape quite striking.

@ Zeleen: As far as Skelyr's hair is concerned, I still prefer the braid, but the shorter, wispy hairstyle is also nice. Draren, on the other hand looks like a serious worrier. Handsome, but worried

@ Tyrax: Holy. Crap. FINALLY!!! She looks wonderful. All that tweaking in the toolset really paid off! I'm so happy!

@ ELE08: I actually like both versions, but you're right, the "barbarian" version has more character. She's actually quite an exquisite design; proportionate while still being interesting. I like it! Oh, on an unrelated note: your Mass Effect female face textures are marvelous!

@ Eudaemonium: Your Kallian looks like she could seriously mess someone up! A very aggressive take on the "pretty bride". In fact, she and the CE concept art both share a similar vibe, without looking anything alike:


@ Y.H.: I think Lilandra looks adorable!...in a fierce sort of way I really like how you've combined bad**** with cute in this particular design. I also think the dwarven tattoos are a nice touch. As for your take on Zevran, while a good design, he does seem older than what I imagined. Then again, I bet being raised in a **** house and sold to the Crows would age a person pretty fast. Nice work

@ Badboy64: I like your HF character. Her bright green eyes are very alluring.

Seamus is cool! If ya made the 'disfigured' part of his Face a bit redder, it could be a permanent burn/scorch spot! Perhaps a Fireplace accident when he was little...?

I still think full intensity Tattoos work on Foreheads, because Foreheads are boring things & have no relevant amount of looks or Charisma for a Tattoo to hide. I made my Tattoo part intense, & part not intense.


P.S. The Toolset Morphs for the playable races are obvious, & it took me a bit, but I finally figured out that QM means 'Qunari Male' which of course eventually led to Conan, but I can't figure out what the 'KN' Morph is... Anyone know?

Ah. I agree too. Sometimes when I keep looking at a design for so long, I tend to lose track. That's why it's good to place designs here so that I can make revisions before the designs are finalized. Thanks for the feedback. I need to tinker with some things to make her more womanly. :happy:

So got inspired. my new Dalish mage.. Zarydra she's an "elf of a different color" she doesn't quite fit in and she's had to make her place in the clan. Is it because of her coloring or because she shows skills long forgotten by many a keeper?? she is well-liked and loved by all but, most save a few are hesitant to approach her. She has a very witty humor and laughs hartily and easily.

Txs everyone. I really wanted to put myself in the game, lol. My first try wasn't bad, but since my brows are fairly low it made me/her look upset. Hence my determination to fix those lousy eyebrow presets. My lips are full and that close to my nose believe it or not. I modded the skin to include some beauty marks. I even created the dark brown eye tint.

Tyrax Lightning  Anri and Conan Cousland's tat's are incredible. Can't wait to see your Qunari/human hybrid in game screenshots

AvatarHunter, LadyAly, Tyrax, Zeleen, Schratty - thank you for the positive feedback. And yes, Kal was only my second toolset reation, haha. I do have loads of mods and have messed around a lot in the character creation though, but the toolset is soooo much better. I might have to go on it after writing this post and make another character... maybe a human for a change.

@YH: Female Elven 2Hs do look rather silly, but I love tmp's proportions mods that I can cope with that. I have a DEF 2H who runs around exclusively with Fenod's awesome Witherbark. Also your Zevran is really good, though I have to admit I tend to dislike small eyes - they work well for him though, particularly in the first pic.

@Caladhiel: I'm afraid you might be right, Anaeth is just *that* good that any other character will never quite match up . Please don't stop, though - you're designs are always really good.

@AH: Buccho has that great 'don't **** with me' look that makes good dusters.

@Schratty: Love Seamus, I think you got the look down perfectly, the way his slightly-downturned mouth twists into the scar and those sombre eyes.

@Zeleen: I think you captured an interesting distance in Zarydra, which i assume is what you were going for, so good job. She seems quite cold to me, first impressions, eerie and strange, hauntingly elsewhere. Excellent design.
