@Noir I like her wide eyes and full lips, she also looks like she has alot on her mind, though I suppose circle mages would.
@Zeleen Your girly tomboy Veronica looks very sweet, i'm sure she will do her father proud on the battlefield:). The flame theme is certainly evident with Blayz, really really like the coordination of the colors with her and her armor. It all gels together very well.
@Marqui Elsbeths seems to be sporting the very rich girl blue blood look. I like her expression, looks serious and regal.
You know I've seen a few designs here and there of attempted asian themed women but I haven't really seen any attempts at asian men so I figured I would give it a go. Asian women are already quite taxing to design and from the start I saw why you haven't seen many if any attempts at males lol ... Anyway though this is Kenji.

So I get all embarrassed that you say you love my designs - you are a great inspiration for me.
Your new Warrior is another example for your excellent work - what a bad ass Character :happy:´
@Tyrax - many thanks
And for sure she is vulnerable - even if she wont notice it yet - the deep fall is waiting al ready.
@Noir201 Oh - so much compliments, you are a pretty good designer yourself.
Elissa is with her big eyes wonderful, her gaze sceptical - I always be happy to see new pictures from you
@AvatarHunter Weeeeeeee - I love the two Demons - Fun - and really made with a lot of fantasy and ideas. *Thumbies*
Thanks for the kind comment - I am happy that I could give her personality. :happy:
Kenji looks al ready not bad for asian design - make his eyes a bit rounder and the tip of his nose lift a tad up.
@Zeleen As always with your designs you are able to surprise and present 2 stunning Lady's
BTW - I love the word *Marvy* for Lenya
Well I have another design - don't forget to click for a bigger Picture
Thekla, City Elf. Unhappy with the hard life in the Alienage, the rules - she wants to be free. This life has al ready left some scars on her face - and on her soul.

@LadyAly - I love Thekla's petite features. She looks almost sad, but still very pretty!
@AvatarHunter - You did a good job with Kenji! I like him!
@mochen - Wonder job with Arshavir! I'm very inspired by your characters, they're all amazing!

AvatarHunter: I think ya mighta over-squinted his Eye a little, even for an Asian. I dunno how to go about improving him otherwise, I don't know Asian Anatomy enough.
LadyAly: WOW! Thelka looks like she would at home alongside the NPC Elf Servants! She looks so realistic!

this is just a little Dalish elf, she's sweet and has a lovely soft way about her.. she has a big crush on Tamlen.. but has never voiced her feelings..

Elvirah... I thought it would be fun to play an elf warrior.. hmmm troubles ahead.. don't let her size fool ya! She can swing full size blades as easily as chop sticks... if she had chop sticks

now if I could just figure out the stubble thingy bobber.. I must be dense!

I modded the skin textures kid and female making several changes to both. The dress is WIP of mine, I want to make it more medieval.
mochen, another great design! You know he could take on Lohgain in a glaring contest.
AvatarHunter, I like Kenji. So youthful and determined. I find men so hard to create, excellent work. Where is the hair from?
Zeleen I can upload the files to fix the stubble color if you'd like. It was such a pain.

thanks, I have the mod... I just haven't run across the Morri style with the braided look yet.. About the stubble, I just don't quite understand.. do I copy the hair color in the chargenmoph file I have under the stubble part when i rename it and not quite sure with the renaming... like keep the whole hair file name and just at the prefix or take of the hair prefix and replace with the stubble prefix.. now I probably have you confusedmarquiseondore wrote...
Elsbeth's hair is from tmp7704's tucked hair project.

That is a very, very good Asian male rendition. It has always been very difficult for me to design an Asian male/human morph with the Bioware Dragon Age Toolset but you've done a fantastic job at it.If I may offer constructive feedback, I would lessen the gloss on the lips. But other than that, well done.
Damn, I wished I got a hold of that Nero haircut before it was taken down.
@marquiseondore
I like your rendition of Elsbeth. The clothing, attire and the textures have such a unique and elegant feel to them.
@mochen
Great work as always.
@LadyAly
I have seen many elf renditions in the past but your designs have such a unique and elegant feel to them. I also find it refreshing to see it when designs are made in a realistic way.
@Zeleen
You mentioned a “stubble thingy bobber”. May I ask which that refers to?

I was trying to make the tattoo design ...the one on the Dalish elf poster...it didn't quite pan out the way I liked it to.

This rendition is inspired by Mochen's Hagrim.

@ Petehog.... "stubble thingy bobber" I am referring to changing a hair tint to a stubble tint. and how to change the file name and where.. I am a complete newbie to the toolset and creating stuff. and I think I need step by step how to. I just don't quite understand.. do I copy the hair color in the chargenmoph file I have under the stubble part when i rename it and not quite sure with the renaming... like keep the whole hair file name and just add the prefix, or take of the hair prefix and replace with the stubble prefix.. like I said... combplete newb

@Zeleen and LadyAly thanks for the suggestions and the sources for some inspiration, those really helped!
Alright personally I like the way Kenji turned out and I sort of feel like I may have a bit of a handle on the male asian look with regard to how close you can get it with HM toolset limitations so I decided to design one more asian male. With Kenji I specifically was going for a more chinese look so this time I went more towards a japanese look. LadyAly I used some of your advice on this one and I feel he came out well, this is Ishida.
Ishida

Posté 15 juillet 2010 - 04:38
AvatarHunter: Ahh, I knew about the Chinese Squint, but I didn't know it could get that thin.
Ishida looks noble & refined! He could definitely be a young Samurai Lord!
Petehog: They're all awesome! The Elf guy might benefit from his Eye Position being narrowed a tad.

You add the "t1_stb" as prefix to any hair tint which doesn't have name beginning with "t3_har". This applies to most of the custom hair colour from what i saw.Zeleen wrote...

If the hair tint does have "t3_har" at the beginning of the name, then you replace that with "t1_stb".
hope this helps
(also, you don't need to tweak the chargenfile for that if you just want to fix the white hair roots issue. The chargen file tweak is only needed if you want to have the custom colour available for the stubble/eyebrows, i think)

@LadyAly, thank you. :> We all have our personal preferences, mine being somewhat poofy lips. This would be a rather boring thread if we all had the same preferences, yay for different tastes!
Your Lenya looks every inch the dwarven noble woman, I like the smile on her lips. Thekla looks so sad, yet very pretty, the scars suits her very well, they add to her character. I adore your character designs!
@mochen, glad you like her. :> Poppy looks amazing, you made that hairstyle work very well on her, I love her. And what bow is that she's wearing? Arshavir looks awesomly badass, even in pink'ish armor, simply awesome.
@Noir201, lovely mage you've got there, love the dark makeup and big eyes.
@AvatarHunter, thank you so much. :> Your two demons are awesome, very original and fun designs, Zagan reminds me quite a lot of Nightcrawler from X-Men, awesome work. I love your male asian characters, Kenji looks like a witty rogue, while Ishida looks a bit more serious, love them both.
@Zeleen, Veronica is adorable, I love the hairstyle on her, simple yet something she could do something very elaborate with if she wanted to. Blayz, oh my flaming kittens, can I take her home? I love her! What robe is that? I agree, there should be more clothing for elves. Your two Dalish elves, love them too, especially Elvirah, I don't doubt she could chop off my head, not one bit. She looks tough.
@marquiseondore, Elsbet is probably one of my favourite human designs, I love the full lips and the simple yet very noble look on her. She'll look very nice with Ser Gilmore. Just finished a playthrough with the voiced version of him, he's quite fun.
@Petehog, they're all awesome, as all your designs tend to be. Especially like the elf.
I made me a new elf mage. I intended to make a human this time, I really did, but I can't seem to get humans to work, so I ended up with an elf. Again. I wanted to give her a cold, frosty look, without being a complete winter elf. So I ended up with various shades of gray, and a very pale skin. She almost looks like a porcelain doll. She's a cold, arrogant creature, not caring much for anyone but herself.
Silviara.

I really like those eyes. They have a very magical glimmer to them. If I may offer constructive feedback, I would lighten the color of the lips a tad bit. They seem very dark in comparison to the rest of her face.
Ok, here's a new design I just did for fun.

Thekla - I love this one! You really captured the essence of the emotionally (and physically) damaged city elf
@ Mochen: Poppy Cousland - A beautiful design! I'm having trouble deciding whether her expression is a pleasant one, or a devious one. Excellent work!
Arshavir - As much as I enjoy your female designs, your males always blow me away. Arshavir looks like he would make an excellent Grey warden Commander; he's so rugged and fierce-looking! I love the hair/eye color combination, btw.
@ Noir: I don't believe I ever saw the original, but I like your remake. Elissa looks both determined and a little sad at the same time. Lovely!
@ AvatarHunter: Wow, you are just a bastion of creativity! I really like the uniqueness of Botis and Zagan! They're both really fun designs
@ Zeleen: You have certainly been busy!
Veronica - You did an excellent job capturing that teenaged tomboy. However, you also balanced an air of refinement.
Blayz: A clever name for your mage
Your other two elves (the sweet elf and Elvirah) both look really good as well. Although, Elvirah looks a bit on the masculine side, but perhaps that's what you were going for?
@ marquiseondore: Elsbeth is quite refined and beautiful. I really like your hairstyle choice. Also, your color palette (hair, eyes, skin, and make-up) works wonderfully as well!
@ Petehog: It may not have turned out quite as you would have liked, but I really like the new tattoo! Also, I'm loving the bald human design...is he an npc replacement?
@ Neveri: Haha, no worries
Phew, I hope I covered everyone.
Okay, here's Barbarossa. I was trying to take a page out of Mochen's book and make a tough-looking guy. Hopefully, I did a decent job...
