@Nowshin Looking at the male elf. I see what you mean, as a general rule men usually have thinner lips than women. Also larger mandibles ( the part of the jaw just below the ear lobes.) This can be done in the toollset by making the jaw wider. Then bring the chin up so its in proportion

As for Rinn call it personal taste but I dont like puffy cheeks on women. I like to see a deffind cheek bone.

@ AvatarHunter: Even though Curilla has a very serious expression on her face, she is quite adorable. I think that's probably due to her cute nose and freckles Also, I really like Angeline's eye shape; it's very fitting for a seductress and an assassin

@ Zeleen: I like the circles underneath Syris' eyes. They further emphasize a kind of deviousness

@ LadyAly: Abraham is awesome! I agree with Creid-X that the back story you gave him is stellar Also, yes, his mustache = win!

@ Creid-X: It looks like you've change his skin texture since the last time I saw Gareth. I think it's a nice improvement Oh, and his eye shape is perfect! Whatever you do, don't change it!

@LadyAly Abraham is a pretty unique character considering the whole back story you gave him and all, you make for a great author/illustrator combo

@Creid-x nice touch ups to Gareth, the new texture looks like a good improvement

@Schratty Persephone looks very sweet, tis a shame to let all that prettiness go to waste. Your little timeline with Liam was a neat idea too, I like that.

Started working with some EM designs to see what I could come with and I managed to salvage two out of all the concepts I could think of. Ronan here is my take on an Antivan Crow and Drake is an experienced mercenary for hire type. Oh and I sort of overlooked lore for the sake of my idea for Ronan, facial hair wise.

Schratty, I like how you are transitioning your style of female renditions.. Your style was more "cute" before. Now you are ranging into the "fine" territory. I also observed this with your most recent elf rendition.  

The "fine" style  is very difficult but gathers a lot of attention when done correctly. Great job.

But  your designs getting better and better - its an amazing progress to see *thick thumbies*
Thx for the comment on Abraham - I like really how he has  turned out. This moustache is a favorite  of mine :happy: I was glad to make it work on him

Ronan  - elf - beard ???  Sorry - I can't imagine an elf with a beard *lol*
but Drake is absolutely excellent,  realistic, a good feeling for his features and appearance. Very well done !!

I just realized from the context of the quote that what I wrote didn't sound right....The face was a design that was from before...on page 124. So when I said "same face"..I actually was saying that it was the face that I made on page 124.

That being said, the differences are just that they are different textures. I will be providing them for public download shortly.

Marquiseondore, I feel your pain. Male dwarves are.....HELLA DIFFICULT.

It's because it RESETS everything. I can spend hours on making a dwarf face. But the moment I add a beard...KABLAMMO...poof...it's gone. The nose contorts, the cheek contorts and the lips go sideway and the face is "reset". But that being said, that is actually a very nice male dwarf rendition.

What sucks even more is this..when you put the unique face of Oghren...it adds spice and changes the face..but if you make the degree too high..it does beard clipping..which essentially forces you to make a cookie-cutter dwarf face. i have no idea how Viruscat and Mochen do it..but dwarf males ****** me off. Lol. they're freaking impossible.

I noticed this on my Abraham Design as well - I added the beard - and poof = no way to make any correction on his mouth. So it seems the same problem on all beard designs.
I guess I was happy it hasn't changed dramatically.

(( I hope I have not misunderstood the whole thing - I am still a bloody newb with toolset working ))

More than an hour wasted only to find out that tint file for the beard and hair are not the same. Still a slight color difference, but its negligible.  It's always something with those DM's.     I wish there was a way to keep the toolset from locking up when you put a beard on your character. Or at least prevent it from resetting.

@megalust, oh wow, Gorgoroth looks pure badass with a whole load of scary!

@AvatarHunter, I intended for Alera and Ylva to look quite different, usually I do that with my designs, now it just shows more as I posted both at the same time. Glad you like them!
Mona is precious, she looks very natural, and that hairstyle really suits her, it gives her a sort of mystique'ish look over her. Curilla does have a commander air about her, serious no-nonsense kind of look, whilst Angeline looks quite the seductive assassin, the kind where you'd get tricked by a pretty face then find yourself at the other end of a dagger.
I quite like the beard on Ronan, it suits his character very well imo. He looks very...sly. Drake looks very realistic, haggard and harsh, well done, as always.

@Zeleen, I am *loving* your sisterhood of elves, they're all absolutely stunning, would be awesome with a picture with them all at one place. I particularly like Terra. Randomly, does that green hair glitch at the back with that hairstyle for you? Syris is working that beard awesomly!

@Nowshin, I see I'm not the only one who goes the ''He's already dead, see?'' option. He did say that to her, yes. Nothing wrong with Rin's eyes to me. And Darrian isn't a bad name, why not use it? He does look quite better at the mage tower, but then again, this game has some odd light. I think he looks sweet still, though.

@Starlight, your characters are so cute! Farren looks like a cosy teddy bear just waiting to be hugged.

@Schratty, haha, thank you. Ylva is in fact one of my favourite elves as well. But, seriously, flying monkies from Oz, Liam is way handsome, I'd give up my magery for him. *cough* Persephone is very beautiful, I love her lips! And tbh, I find her pretty even when abominationfied, in a very odd way.

@LadyAly, Abraham is pure awesome, that 'stache is just the top of cool mountain. I can just imagine him as an oversized, drunken dwarf going ''hrmph'' into his mustache. Makes me want to hug him.

@Creid-X, Gareth looks very good, I like those scars on him.

Right, I wanted to give humans a go again, so made me a little mage. Her name is Amera, she's a bit of a book'ish girl, very clever and one of those girls that has no idea they're pretty. I think I rather like her, actually. Even if she is human!

I basically just wanted to make a more warmer, summer'ish version of Silviara, 'cause I like to make more than one version of my elves apparantly. <.< I wanted to call her Goldanna, but seeing as a certain someone has a rather annoying sister called that, I decided not to. It'd just be odd.

Actually I  HATE puffy cheeks on people in general, but since All my characters ended up having sharp, aristrocratic jaw and cheekbones (someone's been over playing the human noble origin ) I decided to go for a change. And thanks for the advice, will try that route.
@Avatarhunter: Ronan is awesome, he totally fits the antivan crow background. My elves never look so badass. The facial hair really helps. Drake....a bit to starved for my taste, but very real looking.
@Scrhatty:  Persephone! She looked so cute and innocent.....she got slain by the templars, I take it? Her abomination version looks great too, good work with the lips and eyebrows.
@Neveri: I love how Amera looks wide eyed and innocent without seeming like a staring fish. Adena looks very pretty in a slightly stern, headmistress like way.

Posting this just for the lulz...a heavily modified version of the first preset. Tried to create the "lolita" look but failed...need less elegant dress.

You should get one of the Amy outfits for her, that should add to the Lolita look quite a lot.

@Everyone Thanks for the feedback on Drake and Ronan, Ronan was one of my more experimental designs to see how an elf would fare with facial hair. Oh and Zeleen as far as the realistic look goes, an approach I found that works is good proportions and well blended skin textures. I like a lot of definition so I play around with mixing skin textures a lot to find the look I want.

@Neveri I've got to tell you I really like Amera and Adena and from the looks of this post and your last one your style has improved dramatically to me. It is like you have embraced your cartoonist like approach that I mentioned before and combined it with well balanced proportions, it is working very well for you and is an original look. Also your choices in colors and tones help pull their looks together too, great job

@Nowshin That is a nice look for her, I can see where you were going with the lolita look, I'd say all you need is the Amy outfit mod. Here have a look at it, it might be what you want.

The Chantry forbids that sort of fraternization As for Persephone, yeah, I was half-tempted to give her the full-on Sophia Dryden look, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it :/ I love how your designs are always so regal and elegant-looking. I like the back story you gave Amera, you've expressed it wonderfully with her design. She looks quite demur and proper. Love the chocolate eyes with the blonde hair Adena is also very pretty, but yeah, the first thing I thought when I saw her was "Elven Goldana"

@ Nowshin: Yes, she eventually meets the pointy end of Liam's sword (the poor guy T_T). I actually like your Lolita-inspired gal. I third the motion for the AMY Dress

@ Mochen: Haha, one second I'm staring at this handsome Chasind fellow, drooling a little (Esau? I think that's his name), then I refresh the page and he's gone Anyway, I like Miranda, it seems she's rocking the natural look (which is always nice). She also looks kind, but a little worn out (I guess being abducted by a noble d-ckwad for a rapefest would be a bit tiring, no? )
