I rarely comment on other aspects but I did want to mention something. I am seeing a pattern.

I can really tell that you are passionate about what you do

But you sometimes need to relax a bit.

Whether it's making face morphs or doing anything else in life, sometimes people give you compliments and sometimes people don't.  But overall..you should just RELAX and have a good time. People may like your designs, people may not, people may comment, people may not. But ultimately it shouldn't matter. You should just keep doing what you do and not let it faze you.

I think you have brilliant skills.

Again, this is just an observation so I may be misreading the situation. It's hard to tell with just forums and text..

As for your Sten design, you are having that issue because your Sten is either in Redcliffe or in the Kokari Wilds (near Flemeth's hut). I may be wrong but it looks that way in the picture. Those two areas have very strong yellow lighting.

Heres my dwarf Parvati that i redid and idk if i hate her or love her.. dwarves are soo hard!!

parvati looks better, maybe try a larger nose? dwarves ain't dwarves without a giant schnase, or so I've been told.

I think another hairstyle would make me see Parvati differently. Trying to ignore it, I think I like what I see I wish I liked those long hairstyles xD But the game engine just can't handle them good
As for Luna, still pretty :3 Altho her mouth makes her look sad :/

Yay, off to a whole day of tinkering with yesterday's morphs and also making some new ones

The first option is better than the others.
You went the opposite route with him! I made him look a bit more human, while you seem to have made his original features stronger

I can't decide between Morrigan and Zevran really :3 I think I'm pretty much done with Sten now at V.2. Maybe some more tweaking but he looks alot like I want him now ^^ (Pic of v.2 in album later)

I made 2 new versions of Leliana this morning. One that was closer to my original idea, but the skintone just doesn't look that good in game. I think I will keep my original skincolor and such. I'm not too sure if she will need more tweaking actually. it's like... love at first sight
Here is the one closer to my image (that didn't really work... curse you, light)


Edit: To be clear, it DOES work in this light, but it's SO different depending on what location you're in and the colors bothered me almost everywhere else.

I'll show the V.3 later, need to snap a few pics of her ingame. she's more pale readhead and with more of the "unique shape" of Leliana

@Nori201 *coughs* this armor looks neat, but... well ... as sexy as it is I can't imagine it for my playstyle *lol* So strange to let fight my girls in such a armor *rofl* But I bet the enemy is killed before he noticed that -  making goggle-fishing eyes at the half naked breathtaking sexiness of the army before him.

@Pode8 Your dwarfy is a sweetheart, but a bit to human like for my taste. Make her nose bigger - and I can't imagine this hairstyle on a dwarf.

@mochen Sten is perfect work in my eyes -- I would use them in my playings immediately.

Yeah, I might actually release Loghain. I just have to make a non-mod version first, and see him a bit more in game. Like at the landsmeet. It will take quite a while for me to get there tho. If i release him I will release this version + a version where no mods were used

Leliana is quite something really. I made a V.3, as I said, and here she is.


Now I really can't decide which one to use myself I love my first version to bits, but V.3 just has soemthing in game that makes her... uh. I dunno

Version 3 is stunning V.C. - the only thing I would like to see is her blue eyes maybe. I'm probably used to look in blue eyes if I think of Lelianna -

Ah, right! I took away the blue eyes when I made her dark, and forgot to put them back when I made her lighter again. Will try that and see what I feel looks best ^^

 Well, I haven't participated in a bit.  I recently did a redesign of my favorite little mage, Tsyndria, mainly because I was using a frost skin tone on the original, and while the head and neck looked fine, the rest of the body would pretty much just glow.  So, I did some changes, and now run with this:

That's one icy character... Nice work.

However I feel inclined to restore elemental balance to this thread by posting my (pretty much final version of) Minscaza the fire mage. (Alright, alright, bad excuse, I just want to show off his three new earrings.) And if someone knows how to get the bald "skinhead hairstyle" to a modded model, I'd love to know and be eternally grateful...
No time to play these days.. but when I have, this will be the character.

As for my own work... the toolset just destoyed 20 mins of tweaking on a Zevran morph since it hadn't crashed anytime today I wasn't saving like a maniac (like I use to)... and of course it DID crash. 20 mins and a damn sexy Zevran all gone

Gave up on him for a while and tweaked an Alistair-morph instead. Gonna try him out in game now \\o/

@VirusCat Nice work with Leliana. Both V3 and V4 are good (I'd have a tough time deciding between freckles or no freckles for her myself). Regarding LadyAly's point, I usually found myself alternating between blue and green for Leliana's eyes when I played around with it previously.



@mochen Same as above regarding the freckles and it's interesting to note how a different hair colour can change things around for a character. That expression is great too.



@WyldSong That's a very exotic-looking mage character. Nice tattoos and which staff is she using? It looks kind of wild.



@Presence Basing your fire mage on Minsc was a novel idea. I love that eye texture myself (I wound up using it for Velanna in Awakening). The ruddy complexion is a very nice touch. I'm trying to imagine what he'd look like with a tattoo (maybe not the Minsc original but another one) but I'm not sure if that would add too much clutter to his face.

@Presence Wow the final version of Minsc. You're the man! he looks awesome. if he'd wear the original outfit along with a little mice at his shoulder, I wouldn't hesitate to give him nearly 90% resemblence. No really... with or without the tattoo he looks just fine to me.

@VirusCat You're designing Alistair? hmm. I'd be happy to take a look at your design if you choose to post him. Besides it was rarely designed by most of the artist in this forum. What's he like? close to original? super close? completely different? or are you kidding me.
