@Schratty Your twins are pretty cool, one little suggestion though is to make Polla's face a bit wider since there seems to be a noticeable gap between the hair mesh and the bottom jawline. That's always something to watch for when you use a modded hairstyle, particularily one that is past the ears.

@AvatarHunter I'll say right now I don't mind people playing off my designs, I have them all avaliable as presets so I'm not uncomfortable about other people using them. I know I want to try something based off your Aubrey design, for an Orlesian Bard Warden-Commander in Awakening.

Similar to AvatarHunter's re-interpretation idea I have something else for the forum. Many people here new or old probably have a bunch of designs kicking around, my qustion would be do you have a favorite? A design that no matter how many came before it or after you still love to death for whatever reason.

For me It would have to by Ama my Spirit Healer, no design I've ever done has been better than her in my opinion I've made lots that I like and are good but Ama is the best. She looks and acts exactly how I wanted her to in the game, plus it doesn't hurt that she's hands down the prettiest character I've ever made!

@adneate, ooh, Ama is indeed very pretty, I love her full lips. I like the idea of showing our all time favourite characters, will have to dig up some screenshots of Aretha later.

Seeing as I made a dwarf commoner, I thought I should make a dwarf noble as well. I'm finding dwarves ridiculously hard to make, but I'm happy with the outcome of Brynja. She prefers fighting with a mace and a sword, is a bit vain but not overly so, has a good knack of politics, but usually can't be bothered to play it much. At first I made her a redhead with different hair, but she ended up looking slightly like a dwarven version of myself, and that was just creepy.

@Adneate Well yes this is a nice idea. I had to ponder a while - but I'm strongly bonded to NaChaya - I think its due to the fact I write this story - I really attached to her - even if I had 2-3 favorites. She isn't a perfect design - only made with the IG CC and some help from the community

@Zeleen, hah, yes, Lila and Zeleen could indeed be related, they'd probably make an awesome team! Get the hair to load how? In the character creation screen? 'cause I don't use the toolset, so if that's what you mean I've got no idea. 

@LadyAly, it's the starting armour on dwarf nobles, I think it's from a mod called Improved Atmosphere. It can be dyed, but that one looks like that when you start the game. Glad you like her! NaChaya is so very pretty, and original, I'm quite taken with her. ^^

@mochen, flaming nugs, that is one badass dwarf you've made there, I envy you your skill with male dwarves, you're awesome at them. And Mirabelle is very pretty, might sound odd, but she really fits her name.

And a shot of Aretha, my favourite character, and I love this shot of her, although you can't see her very well.

mochen..  your warrior chick, Corinne, depicts a strong woman who takes no sh**t from anyone or anything!   Ebony is a red-head beauty.. like the robes she's in.. they fit her well!  David is handsome! very nice coloration.. 
Jessica is simply a very lovely composition.. (I tend to run out of allocades for your work.. so forgive me if I sound repetitious   Great design for your new dwarven warrior, Urut..  I want to call him "the grumpy one"  mirabelle.. your first design!  wow!

Hmm. I think for me, my two favorites are Yvaine and Rhaelyn (mage I just posted, and the pissed Dalish a few pages back ). Those were the first two characters I beat the game with, and I just kinda connected with them while playing. Guess I like blowing sh-- up and sneaking around jamming razor sharp objects into spinal cords .

LadyAly: that staff is "Staff of a Red Demon" or something similar on the nexus

@ Nowshin: Thanks for the feedback. Well, freckles aren't necessarily a sign of improper skin care. Some people are just a little freckly However, I will mess with her nose and eyes. Although, the nose may remain as it's intended to be similar to Casta in that respect. Thanks again, though!

@ Neveri: Well, Casta has a way of making sure her sister's diplomatic measures fall through. She's a little on the bloodlusty side I like Brynja, btw, and I think blonde hair suits her. She looks serious and...well...noble. Haha, nice work! Despite them being hard, you sure do make purdy dwarves :3 I remember Aretha! She is incredibly badass.

@ adneate: Thanks for the advice! I'll play with the jaw width settings. I have to agree with you, I think Ama is one of your prettiest designs. I'm also partial to Kali Brosca, however.

@ Zeleen: Syris is coming along nicely Have you considered thinning his neck width a bit? And thank you for your comments on my latest morphs

@ Saerwen: Tanna is an exquisite design! Her tattoos work really well (love the blue!).

@Schratty~thank you as well. The vanilla hair, and the tattoo just worked for her. In game she has moments where she is stunning, then others where she is just really cute.. I just love elves!

@Neveri: Aretha...I don't know why, but she captivates me:wub: She's what I'd call beautically creepy:innocent: and her expression looks awesome in that Screenshot. Brynja is beautiful, I don't know how you make such sexy dwarfs...I=epic fail at making dwarfs. I love what you do to their jawline, looks so nice and well-proportioned:wizard:

As for my favorite character, I'm not sure since even my favorite characters keep getting make overs... I'd have to say Ephemera (yeah I'm that creative), my canon princess cous cous. @LadyAly: I really like NaChaya. I like that nice curve you have going from cheek to chin. I have yet to be able to get a pointed chin without it looking like you could use it as an awl.
As for my own characters... personal favorite is tied between Ren who I've already posted and my Dalish elf Cadence. Cadence was done entirely in the in game character creator and I'm really happy with how she turned out.

Thanks to all that don't mind me giving a different look to their characters, I really tried to do the original designs justice. I think I've had my fun with the whole idea now though. I made an album for them on my profile.

@Adneate Hey if you feel a little inspiration from Aubrey then have it, I adore my characters but I'm certainly not too possessive over them if someone feels they can pull an idea for their own character from them.

@Neveri After taking a good look at Brynja I think it is apparent that you look into trying more dwarf designs because you did a stellar job on her. Just like your elves you have your own way of approaching the proportions and facial expressions, I dig it.

@Mochen As with Neveri, thanks for filling in for the lack of dwarfs there has been lately. Your dwarfs tend tostand out to me in the same way that VC's did, they have just the right amount of personality.

@Saerwen Interesting elven lass you have, the eyes and that particular shade of blue in her tattoo really makes the design pop out more against her dark hair.

Favorite character, well that would have to be my Elethea Cousland. She has been my avatar since I created her which is months now.

well.. I've reclaimed some of my characters and had to re-do some and added a new one...



Meet Nathaniel Cousland.. kind of a playboy type but with a heart of gold..

had to do Lirrikal a bit from an older version.. this time I gave her green eyes.. She reminds me of Spring and spring reminds me of pink & green







was able to recapture Tempest.. she's a walkin from the Sisterhood and so her tatoo is a little closer to lore.. she didn't want to stand out in the crowd.. hee hee







had to re-make Astra.. she's a Noble Rogue now and will be playing with Ser Gilmore..







Ariel - re-make.. she originally was concepted red hair with green eyes.. so went that way with her..







now let's see if I can reinstall some decent armor for them

@Zeleen, thank you for the kind words on my characters. Birna is wearing the starter duster armour, just dyed darker to suit her better. Lirrikal is lovely, she does look like a spring elf. I made one of those not long ago, was tempted to go with the pinkness as well, but couldn't get it to work as well as you have. What tattoo is that she's using?

@Schratty, oh, Storm is handsome as hell, I can see why you like him. I wish I could make male designs. D:

@AvatarHunter, then I shall keep on trying to make dwarves, there seems to be a lack of them around here anyway. I totally dig Elethea, beautiful, hard and skillful looking. And inspiring to look at, makes me want to make something tough looking.

@ adneate, I think the propotion of the screenshot is a bit distort. It seems like the height is being shorten such that she looks a bit wierd. Maybe you could modify the screenshot again?

@ Neveri, Brynja is nice! The color of the armor and weapons suit her as well.

@ LadyAly, NaChaya has a unique feature. I like her.

@ mochen,  Urut is a nice dwarf. Though the Juggernut's chest give me some false impression of Urut having a huge belly :-P

@ Nowshin, Ephemera is nice. I'm looking forward to you tweaking with her.

@ zeleen, all of them looks good! Though I like Zeleen the best. She has a regal aura around her and the people will surely show their respect upon meeting her. Astra..she looks familiar. I seems to see her in some ad/TV drama...I don't recall the exact one, though.

The following are my latest creation:

Rodric (inspired by AvatarHunter's Ser Taldrew)

Born in a poor farming family, he can barely grow up with limited food. However, when he reached 15, his family can no longer afford to take care of him. Desparately, he sign up a contract with a mercenary band. He trained as a warrior and fighting any foes his band missioned for him. However, the band has been ambushed by darkspawns. The band was mostly killed and he merely escaped. Upon recovery that leave a scar on his forehead forever.

Maybe because of lack of warm of family, he wishes he can find a lover, who can fight together and take care of him. It is rather difficult as he is only interested in men. Those who fits are either not interested in men or take no interest in him. This is becasue all of his time has been spent on fight and survival. He doesn't even know how to communicate with the others and express his feeling, which many people find him boring.

However, with the outbreak of the Blight, there is no room for love. He then joins the army in Redcliffe to fight the Blight. Underneath his heart, apart from survival, he wishes that at least he can fall in love once, provided that he survives the Blight.


I have made this one a while ago and I'm tweaking it with the scar. Here comes the Joker!


This one is inspired by "V for Vendetta". However, I still think there are rooms for improvement

I like how Snow-white looks like. She is beautiful! For Rose-Red, in my opinion, her facial features match your description, though I think the hair doesn't look boyish enough. How about the one used by Joker above (don't look at the face, though. It will surely spoil your joy for head morphing :-P ) ?
