Inspired by AvatarHunter's character Elethea, I made me a (in my opinion) tough looking elf. She's an assassin, enjoys her work and has little care for anyone but herself.
Ravna.

And, 'cause she's sort of named after a raven, I had to give her a beak like nose. It's meant to be huge, hush.

From the front view, I thought, "wow, Neveri did a great job capturing that beautiful, but indifferent look." Then I saw her profile shot and thought, "Caw! Caw!" Bam! Onomatopoeia-ed! Haha

@Starlight You get a gold star for that V for Vendetta design, that is awesome and creative
@Zeleen Whew you sure had your hands full remaking all those characters, good job getting that done. You also did well with Syris, that is really a different type of character from your usual so it is refreshing to see you try something new.
@Neveri I like the play on colors that you did with Briar's eyes and the tattoo, I thought that was a nice touch. I also noticed that you seem to like fair skinned characters or rather soft skin tones, I think it is good to put a lot of personal preference in designs in that way.
@Juleiila Your elves are very nice, the contrast between Azonia's skin tone and her blue eyes makes her look exotic, good play on tones and color combination.
@Tyrax Good to see a new design from you and dwarfs are always a welcomed choice. Good going with your bloodthirsty crime lord
@Petehog Thanks for trying to redesigns of my characters, I was very interesting in seeing how they would turn out when they were in the hands of someone else. From juxtaposition you can really see just how different both our approaches to designs are.
@Schratty Hey now I really like those remakes to your elves, especially to the angry elf. The attempts to capture those emotions in each of them were met successfully for sure.
I had this back story for a mage swimming about in my mind so I figured I would design a character for it, her name is Zhora. She is an apostate that was abandoned at a young age when her parents, who were also apostates, were captured by the templars so she could escape. She was forced to grow up quickly in the back alleys of Denerim doing what was necessary to survive all the while gaining an aloof and pragmatic personality. She is now a mercenary for hire who accepts any job if the pay is right and executes them without fail. Through many under the table dealings in Dust Town she had also become a strong acquaintance of Jarvia. She is basically my version of a human commoner mage.
Zhora

Haha, that's why I added a screenshot of her from the side, I think I had Adrian Brody in mind when I made her. <.<
@AvatarHunter, I do indeed prefer soft, light skin. Although I'm currently working on a dark skinned, shamanistic lady, 'cause I've been wanting to make something fun for a while now.
Zhora has a strong look about her, she fits the background story you made for her very well. Beautiful, strong and clever looking.

Saerwen: Aranel's Nose Bridge looks too thin, but this is optional. She's got the good ol' 'Don't cross me!' look!
Schratty: I'll see what I can do.
Angry Elf looks the part wonderfully!
Sad Elf looks like she's not doing too well on Morale, but she's trying to keep herself steeled to keep going.
LadyAly: Many thanks!
Rose Red looks much improved!
Nowshin: Gotta love the jerks that refuse to tolerate any point of view outside their own.
mochen: Many thanks!
Neveri: Many thanks!
Ravna's cool! I wonder if she's a fan of Morrigan's, even if she may be reluctant to admit it?
AvatarHunter: Many thanks! To tell ya the truth, I made this Dwarf because I noticed your observation of this Thread being under-Dwarfed lately. I agreed with it needing to be remedied.
Zhora's Eyes look too small, but otherwise, she's beautiful, skilled work!
Juleiila: Desmond looks like an awesome Renegade type Character!
A Toolset question has occured to me. I've learned how to transplant Morphs into existing Saves, but it makes me wonder, if I did this to an existing Save Character, then loaded it up, & saw the Morph functional, then Saved that game, would that new Morph become the Character Portrait Pic, & Upload to this Site, & all that other stuff that a normal Character from the CC would get? Or would the transplanted Morph always be visible only in-game & nowhere else?

@Neveri: Ravna looks good. With that nose she could be one of my relatives.

I believe it should, yes. that's what I do - just make the absolute basic character in the CC, start the game, save, then open up the .das and edit it for the morph I made earlier. It may take a little while, but it should do all that.

Or there is another way around. Export the morph as .mop files. Then edit the chargenmorph.xml (if you use the facial feature mods to create morph, you will already have one inside the override folder) to include the mop as the following:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <morph_config> <heads> <human_male> <resource name="HM_CPS_P01.mop" /> <resource name="HM_CPS_P02.mop" /> <resource name="HM_CPS_P03.mop" /> <resource name="HM_CPS_P04.mop" /> <resource name="HM_CPS_P05.mop" /> <resource name="HM_CPS_P06.mop" /> <resource name="HM_CPS_P07.mop" /> <resource name="HM_CPS_P08.mop" /> <resource name="HM_PCC_B01.mop" /> <resource name="your_custom_morph.mop" /> ....
Now you open the CC, you will find that the new morphs are just follows those default presets.

Random question, but does anyone think any of my characters look asian? I released my characters as presets and got drilled for making "anime look-alike" characters. The only one who looked REMOTELY asian in my opinion was the punk haired lolita I posted a couple of paged ago, and her actual preset looks normal with brown hair and proportioned eyes.

I've taken a look at the mod as well as the comments made by the folks at Dragon Age Nexus.
Folks at Dragon Age Nexus have a different taste entirely from members of this forum and are very harsh when it comes to comments.
On a personal basis, I find that it's the more harsh comments that are more telling...as compared to kind words…
That being said, I didn't see a resemblance with an "anime" look.
But...if I may offer constructive feedback, it's your males elves and male humans which do need to be revised.
I believe when the mod was in development, you mentioned that you were looking for the effeminate look but keep in mind that it is a look that many may not be open to. Generally, when people download presets, they are looking for more masculine renditions than what was offered by Bioware.
@AvatarHunter
I agree. Everyone has a different way of interpreting things and we all have different eyes.

@ AvatarHunter: I like Zhora's jawline, it hardens her otherwise pretty look.
@ Petehog: A lot of individuals who frequent the DA Nexus view anonymity as an excuse to be a d-ck. Also, after reading the modifications to your post, I think you have more tact than you profess to
@ Y.H.: You know, I don't think I've ever pondered what her dwarf form would look like...Hmm...

First thanks for taking your time to review my mod
Thanks again. And LadyAly and scampermax, you are awesome<3
@ LadyAly - I <3your two sisters idea. As Mochen said, making them so different just using hairstyles and colours was a great idea. And they fit their description very nicely, everything in Rose red screams tomboy and Snow-white looks the perfect princess :innocent:
@Neveri: Briar Rose is beautiful, I love the way you made her seem so cute and innocent.
@Avatarhunter: I love Zhora's backstory, and she looks both beautiful, and menacing in a subtle way. Where is her robe from?
@yasuraka.hakkyou :
I ADORE your Shayle, she looks PERFECT. I can totally see her as the bird-killing golem at our side.
Incredible work<3<3<3

Not too pleased with the hair, but it's a start.
Edit: Added the second phase below, made his features a little more broad and played with his complexion a little more.

I've had a bit of a different experience with the DA Nexus, I would say in general I've gotten far more useful advice and comments from here than over on the Nexus. Most of the comments and PMs I've gotten at the Nexus are just people asking for my .MRH files, I guess they like it then?
My own revision process has always been and still remains highly internalized, I'm always my own worst critic in these types of things. It helps to push yourself much harder than anyone else could, I probably have made almost a thousand minor revisions to my characters over the course of the months I've been at it and 95% of those changes have been spurred by my own ideas and dislikes. When I give advice to others I try to keep it as technical and as unpersonal as possible, I can't see what another person sees in their head I don't know what the theoretical end state is supposed to be. It was very challenging just doing that Lore Morrigan morph with the guys in the Morrigan group, I made hundreds of revisions and 6 different versions and at the end they thought it was good but vanilla was still better. Personally I would have gone much farther with the changes, but I was trying to create this morph they all had in their head with just comments and few screenshots. Harsh comments are helpful when you're trying to create for someone else but when you're creating for yourself they tend to be fairly useless.

@Juleiila, Desmond looks cool, I like that beard on him.
@Tyrax Lightning, I think Ravna would get along with Morrigan, but I think their first meeting will be awkward, them wearing pretty much the same robe and all.
@yasuraka.hakkyou, brilliant idea with Shayle there, and she looks amazing as well!
@Schratty, I've given up on the toolset a while back, actually, I need to find me a nicer computer or something. Randomly, I think re-installing the tucked hair mod removed the lines for me as well, at least they're not as dominant now. Or I might be seeing things I'm wishing for, will have to use it again to test. <.<
@Nowshin, I'll keep the eye thing in mind if I ever intend to make an evil character that goes around looking pure evil. ;p The robe on AvatarHunter's Zhora is from http://www.dragonage...ile.php?id=1055, it's the Khalan outfit one.
@Heldenbrand, I like where you're going with that character, especially like that you changed the colour of his eyes, suits him much better.
@Saerwen, Alexandria looks very mysterious, slightly gothic, and with a nice use of colours, and lovely lips!

I'm very much the same way. I tend to be more technical rather than personal.
With regards to Morrigan, here's what I discovered.
It's a conondrum.
There are those who will always like the original Morrigan morph no matter what you do. And on the same token, there's actually a lot of people who don't like the original Morrigan morph.
It's because Morrigan is one of those characters that is a different person to everybody..
Some folks are thinking..if she's romancable..she better be damn fine. I want a pretty one that's a HB 10!
And then you got the "realists" who are like..well...she's been in the forest her whole life..she needs to look more ugly and scraggly.
And then you got the crazy fellers who think...OOh I love that Sacred Ashes video! I wish she looked like this!
http://images2.wikia...riganCGI_FA.jpg
Gah! My eyes!
And then you got people ..who think...well shouldn't she look like the real-life person they were modeling her after?...Victoria Johnson.
http://cdn2.maxim.co...-johnson_l1.jpg
So Morrigan is a tricky one. Not to mention, she's a different character..depending on what your character is. Let me tell you..she acts differently if you are an elf city female rogue who's been mean to her...as opposed to a human male noble that's been macking on her.
Ha ha.
That being said, could you send me a link to the Morrigan discussion that you mentioned. I would very much like to see it as I feel it may have important information that may be helpful.
