@Tyrax Lightning, ooh, Garivik looks even meaner now, for some odd reason I just imagined him eating cute little kittens for dinner, although in a dwarf's case it'd probably be a nug, hm.

@Starlight, that's quite a bunch of new designs. Wulgus does look fairly boy'ish, I think you need to make him look more rugged, maybe make him look more serious and not have a permanent look of surprise? He is cute though! I like your take on the evil queen, she doesn't look like the nicest lady in town. Anya and Ledia are a lovely pair of twins, like the red hair on them. Seth, not so sure I like the platinum blond hair to that dark beard, but that's an personal preference, other than that he looks good. Gawen does have a look of someone who's a bit naive, cute too.

@mochen, two excellent new designs, Gaspar looks like a well seasoned warrior, slightly haggard yet with a determined look about him. Noelle is lovely, I adore her purple'ish hair, it suits her very well.

We do have somewhat different taste, 'tis all good. <3 Claudia Black is a challenge, I remember I chose to draw her for a assignment at school few years back, was hell. 

I wanted to make another more fun design, although it's not all that lore unfriendly, at least not from what I read about the Chasind folk. I had in mind a dark skinned, pretty sort of young lady,somewhat exotic looking,  living out in the Wilds, possibly a shaman apprentice, if such things exist. If not, they do now *cough*. I thought she might at one point have come across the Wardens when they're out and about in the Wilds, and helping them kill of some darkspawn, and eventually realise she might be of more use helping the Wardens. Something like that anyway. In any case, I am happy about how she turned out.

Well now I had to try a personal request from a player - she got me a picture and a describe and well here we go
If now someone can tell me how I upload a file for her - so she can use the Char in her game I would be thankful - Seems I'm to dumb to do figure this out on my own

Starlight: I suppose this is where personal interpretation comes in. Yeah, she's seen her fair (and unfair) share of fighting, but in Origins, I just see the sarcastic arse of her personality XD. I'm happy with the design.

mochen: (on Noelle) now you've pulled off a hairstyle I don't think I can . I can't really get any of those modified hairs to work for me on a design :/ oh well.

I've always thought it looked like a deer, which would make more sense, at least based on the name of the tattoo, Csodaszarvas, which is apparantly some deer in Hungarian mythology. But now that you mention it, I can see where you get the unicorn from. In any case, who knows what sort of stories the Chasind folk have. <.<

@Neveri Really love the concept for Maeba and it also seems pretty lore friendly to me, she almost looks like a possible encounter in the wilds if she was a companion. Good job with the Chasind appearance too, I haven't seen too many Chasind oriented characters. I don't know how I missed your Ravna before but I'm all for that beak or a nose she has, nice play on name and appearance. Not to mention she has a good color composition in general too with the dark shades and softer toned skin.



@LadyAly Excellent portrait morph, you brought your A game on that one imo. You captured her appearance well while adding a lot of your own style, I likes.



@Mochen I have strong affinity for textures and strong definition in the face so with that said I really like what you did with Gaspar. You have a good blend going with him and it wasn't exaggerated. I'm also going to have to say that I like that grape colored hair on Noelle, it is a good play on a fantasy look.



@Starlight Got you a character collage going on, nice to see people being busy. If I had to take my pic I'd say the ice queen there stands out most to my tastes.



I really like seeing compare and contrast in designs as well as character types like Lady's twins so I thought I'd try to do some sets of contrasting designs. I tried City elf and Dalish elf first since their differences are so obvious. For my City elf Hazel I went for a humble and hard working look and for my Dalish elf Iman I wanted a more exotic and free spirited look. I am also aware that Iman's tattoo is not lore friendly but if you look at my other designs me and lore simply have a love/hate relationship.

@AvatarHunter, I'm glad you like Maeba and Ravna. You probably missed Ravna 'cause she's all assassin like and was off hiding <.<. I might make more Chasind oriented characters, making Maeba was fun. I really like your two contrast designs, Hazel is pretty, but you can see she's worked for a living, and living the hard life of the alienage. Iman looks strong, beautiful and a bit cat like, and I quite like that tattoo on her, lore friendly or not. Randomly, where is Hazel's hair from?

@Neveri Hazel's hair style is actually from tmp's tucked hair mod. I think he made some updates because I just recently re-downloaded it as well as an optional file he posted and I found this one as well as a few other ones in the toolset.

@AvatarHunter..  Thank you, I am actually quite proud of Syris.. he was a challenge actually..  Nathaniel was as well trying go give him the playboy look and not be effeminate.
on your Zhora.. gorgeous..  it was almost like looking at a photograph.. (how do you do it!)  she is stunning! and strong!  nice mix and hard to do!
on your Hazel..  i just run out of words.. WOW!!  Iman.. she is quite a beauty and powerful for a little thing

@Heldenbrand..  I don't know the reference (Jim Raynor)  but you have a nice design going there  I prefere Wilheim version 2

on your Wulgus (interesting name BTW)...  He looks very good natured..  I wouldn't give him a beard...  he could have shaved at camp)  a little stubble maybe..    your wicked queen..  I think she's too pretty for a wicked queen.. she doesn't quite look mean enough   Anya and Ledia  wow! nice and your inspiration must have been beautiful.. a nice rendering of loveliness   Seth..  I am having a hard time with the facial hair on this one..  Gawen..  your dwarf noble looks young and naive indeed!

@Zeleen, Tempest is looking awesome in that armour, actually. As for elegant armour, I find the female Duncan armour somewhat elegant. If you want to run around in a dress, download one of the catona mods? Noble robes are fun. Can always add stats with the Winter Forge mod. Have you tried the white Mord Sith armour on Zeleen? It's elegant'ish. Then again, depends what you put in elegant.

Neveri.. thanks.. I did try the white Mord Sith on Zeleen.. It does look good but, want more of armor looking as she is a warrior.. don't really know what I want I do like the Duncan on her though.

@Zeleen, what about the female version of the armour that Nathaniel is wearing? That comes in heavy armour at least. Or, the Orator Vestments? Quite nice looking set of massive armour. Or.. Templar armour?
