@Siradix At the expense of going against lore I say that goatee actually fits him, good look. I also have a bearded elf for kicks so indeed do what you like.
@Neveri Ah well hey you know if it ain't broke don't fix it I'd say when it comes to female and male characters. I like to think that you can only really focus on your strong points or strengthen your weaknesses so if female characters are just your thing you could just consider that as part of your personal style and preference. Choice is yours though, meanwhile I will try to stay up to date on the forecast in hell to see if it will get chilly anytime soon.

@Siradix the others said already the most - I like your Elf - even if I have a problem with bearded elf males
@AvatarHunter
Good - After making Julia I got two pictures from Neveri <3
See what I made out of it - Neveria, a hot headed mage - bonded to earth
and then ...
I made ....
myself - I'm not a spring chicken anymore would Wynne say - but I guess still not bad looking.
Sadly I found some things lacking - like dark brown eyes, curly long hair etc.
But I chosed a style I wear during summer anyway - hair tucked and silver earrings - thx to tmp7704
I am mostly wear black and use a bit darker make up - so its rather close to the current state.
Well decide for yourself how close I am

Blurry as hell >.<

@Neveri I'll take a look around.
@ZeleenTo each their own. I never learned the basic lore of what an Elf or Dwarf was suppose to look like, so I treat the faces all the same.

@Zeleen No worries Zeleen, I didn't take any offense.
@LadyAly Both characters are very close to their inspiration. Where did you get the ear rings for the character?

@LadyAly, you already know what I think of that version.
So, I decided Maeba needed a sister. A more serious, non-magical, no nonsense sister. No unicorn'ish creatures in this tattoo either! Anyway, meet Naja. She's a hunter, excellent with a bow and sneaking after her prey.
Naja.

I don't have much time to check on this thread during the week. It is so active!
There are so many awesome designs to comment on.
My favorites:
@Neveri - I love the idea of designing Chasind characters. I feel like they did not really get fleshed out all that well in DAO and it is good to see someone devoting some love to them. I really love the design on Naja. Her features are very beautiful. I think the hair and tattoo look very Chasind, and the claw marks add a great sense of tougness.
@AvatarHunter & Petehog - I am really surprised no one had already designed a Morrigan that looked like Claudia Black. Both designs are excellent, but I personally am drawn more to the older version designed by AvatarHunter. I would love to see more Claudia Black versions of Morrigan.
@Mochen - All of your charcters are so nicely done. I am really a fan of some of your more inposing characters. I really like the textures that both Gaspar and Mordiroth have. What mod are those from? Also, I really like Corinne! The shaved head look is so underrated and Corrine looks so tough. Jessica and Noelle are two of your prettiest characters to date.
@yasuraka.hakkyou - I love your interpretation of Shayle. I had not really imagined what she was like as a dwarf, and while I am not sure that your design fits what I would envision, I still think that is on very cool dwarf design.
@Saerwen - I really like mystical looking elves, so Tanna is right up my alley. Also, love Alexandria - very pretty character. I like the hair and her hair color, skin, and makeup tones. Would like to see more of your designs.
@LadyAly - Great work on the design of Neveri and yourself! I really like the screens of your character in the underworld armor. I did not realize how awesome that armor was until I saw it there. She almost reminds me of Lucy Lawless.

@LadyAly: both of your designs are great - I can see how you adapted the models to the photographs, very impressive.
May I ask, though, how you managed to put ear-rings on your character?

It's really interesting because I always picture a different person in the back of my mind. The way people write is a reflection of thier character.. and it's really interesting to see who the people are behind the avatars.
I don't think I would post my pic. Ha ha. I'm too chicken.
Well...back to the topic. Here's some new things I've been working on...

@Eudaemonium, thank youThe earrings are from this mod, http://social.biowar...m/project/2595/ it's been updated, so it has a few hairstyles that comes with earrings as well now, Naja has them too, they just don't show as well.
Ooo, thanks! I was hoping you could just add earings, though
@Petehog: Very nice textures. Can't wait for DAR's final version! (IT might even convince me to make male characters more...)

Hah, yes, seeing real life pictures of someone you're used to seeing as a tiny avatar can be fairly amusing.

Clare -

This is a remake of my previous character, Una. I removed the tattoos, smoothed out her nose a bit, and added these panther eyes. I like her because I think she looks really elven.

@Neveri Hmm I guess I apparently am living in hell it seems because that is exactly what the weather is where I am right now lol. I guess Florida couldn't escape the inevitable, what a drag. I blame BP! I know I mentioned before that I really liked the Chasind concept so I can say that I am glad to see a bit of an extension to it with Naja. Yet another well designed Chasind character, that tattoo is sic as well.
@Petehog Looks like you're a lot of fun with textures lately, got some cool stuff brewing there.
@Megalust Ah I remember Una whom you based her off of, the panther eyes and the white hair give her a good fantasy look.

@AvatarHunter, haha. I actually just looked at the weather forecast for Hell in Stjørdal, Norway.
So, apparantly it'll be frosty in Hell tonight. I've made my first male character that's made it out of the character creation screen, and I don't want to stab him in the eyes either. Although it kind of looks like I tried. <.<
I'm sure some of you will say the scar is too dominant, but I personally love it.
I've got no idea what I'm doing with male designs, please don't eat him. ._.
Lucas.

Oh and, I made him a sister. I've been wanting to make a human, female and male sibling pair for a while now, and seeing as I got Lucas out of the way, I made Lydia, his twin sister. Yes, I like it when things match.
She's also a warrior, but prefers a sword and shield. I wanted her to appear feminine, even when wearing massive armour, yet not some weakling wall flower noble.
Lydia.
