@Caladhiel : Faye is gorgeous:wub:, she pulls off the smoky eye and full lips very nicely, and your screenshot taking abilities are awesome as well. And oh the robe.....I can imagine what she'd do to the poor, virginal templars XD

@Chairon de Celeste : The Marjoline location receiving pic girl's eyes are too upward sloping, I know the toolset allows such but it is very unrealistic, IMO. The other one is cute, she seems like someone with a fragile appearance but is actually strong.

@PanosSmirnakos : Your characters seem to have common problem that the eyes are too high. The HM is nice looking, seems like a good hearted,somewhat naive person. The Aeducan looks quite badass, but the I think elf's lips are are a bit too wide.

@Saerwen: Isabella looks pretty, classy and determined, unlike the other Isabella we all know Agree with Tyrax on the eyes, though.  But the hair clipping makes me a sad panda Faeron is an excellent design, I've rarely seen suchg an ruggedly handsome elf <3

@yasuraka.hakkyou: Sirene looks very tough and no-nonsense for an Orlesian. She is stunning, and I lol'ed hard at the quote.:happy: Tanalya seems like a strong keeper who would protect her family to the death, and she's pretty too. And the screensot of Yvaine was insanely epic:D

@adneate : WoW! Males! The Cousland one seems like the hotter, sexier version of fergus Can see the family resemblance. And the Mahariel is impressively true to the concept art, though I think it would help if you gave him a little glare.

@Schratty: Kat is one lucky bit**.:wizard:If I was't so jealous I might admit that she's pretty and the freckles give her an adorable look while her curved eyebrows show her "meh" loving personality.

Psylocke's eyes are a result of a bloodmage's alterations on her.

The Marvel comic book Psylocke had been brainwashed and turned from
'caucasian' into 'asian' by japanese terrorists and had believed she was
'Lady Mandarin' for a while. Psylocke Taebris went through a similar ordeal
(backstory a few pages earlier).


Bethaine Aeducan (a bit cranky hence she had been stuck at Ostagar
for several months now and really dilikes her surfacer freckles...)

 @Eudaemonium I like the facial features from your Neria, but - here kicks in personal taste - the tattoo is looking like you used a felt-pen - far too dark.

@Chairon de Celeste I love your Hawk design - very refreshing, unique and fragile. Maybe the bridge of her nose is a tad too small.
Oh I love Mythal in the screenshots really.
Your dwarf lady is interesting - wiht the asian eyes -   I don't think this kind of eyestyle fits to a dwarf, but that is personal taste

@Tyrax Garian looks great - about the eyes mmhh.. I know there is a style I used on my Flare  design. Since I'm at work atm I can't look in, will post or send it to you later.

For Faeron - there isn't much I would change - probably the lips - I would they make smaller.

@PanosSmirnakos Your dwarf is a pretty good design - for the two others there is something wrong with the facial features. You using the Toolset ?

@Y.H.Sirene and Tanalya are so bad ass !!! You have indeed a hand for strong, but still very beautiful looking elf maidens <3 
and Yvaine is epic in that screenie - but never have seen the armor or staff ???  Seems I missed something.

lol what did that dragon do, he only wanted to destory the world...... wait that didn't sound right. Guess that could be a party crasher XD. But yeah my weapon and armor maybe be moded, but that ghostly look my character isn't a mod. Its just a mage using different power ups. I think hes using two or three. One is the arcane warrior, once you max out the class you get a very ghostly look, when you tap into the combat magic I think. Then polish it with another power up,  spell might to give him a blue aura, then another mode cleansing aura, just to give another blue glow. Combining different power up will give you very intersting looks. In my characters case, combining these three power ups give him a benlvont looking spriit look. And I occasionly put in spell bloom to give him a stary look. So yeah one of the reasons why I love playing a mage, these different power ups can radical change the look of your hero. Which is so cool, so all is part of the game, and is not moded.

After creating Bethaine I've installed a few non-replacing
presets wich require the CharGenMorph compiler
- well at least one of them just claimed to be
non-replacing - wich may have even been the case
before the author stumbled into a couple of various
cut & paste accidents
- df head preset 1 replacement here comes with
freckles and asian eyes.

Originally Bethaine had a facial tatoo and Mythalle as well.
The 2nd version of Mythalle had Alfastane's (nauight noble tavern,
landsmeet, Irmenric's younger sister)  hairstyle and a vague
resemblance with her - her skin hue was much darker
though. Mythalle 1 had ever clipping long hair and was quite
pale.

Oh good grief it would appear anytime I don't check in on the thread for a day or two the posts increase tenfold or something lol. Let's see . . .

@Adneate Very regal looking aeducan design you have going, she definitely fits well into the origin and I have to admit for some reason or another I always feel compeled to make my aeducan characters blonde as well. Your Dalish and your Cousland also appear tailor made for their respective origins, well done.

@Megalust Nice blood mage, I think the thing that catches my eye about it the most is the skin tone for some reason. It is an interesting hue, sort of like a pale bronze. Also points for the David Bowie reference, it does put you in the mind of that look now that you put them together in that manner.

@Chairon de Celeste Haha yeah that is my Gaider clone, I thought it was amusing so I posted it on DA nexus

@Caladhiel Nice to see you're wasting no time in posting some designs and getting right back in the fray.
Rhoslyn is great, she is wearing the gypsy look well. Faye is a temptress indeed with that racy number she has on in that last pick, she had me at "hello" lol. I'm also very drawn to her lips, good stuff!

@Tyrax yo welcome back man, you have a good amount to catch up on good ser.

@Saerwen Isabella is lovely, I really like the large blue doe eyes she has. 

@Y.H. Flawless trio of elves, I think Sirene in particular really fits into the proud and poised Orlesian look. It is also rather obvious but the shot of Yvaine is pretty badass to say the very least.

@Schratty Wonderful work on Kat, the dark hair really compliments her skin tone well and light colored eyes with dark hair always is a win to me. She appears all work and no play at first glance but from that last pic I stand corrected, haha a sultry little minx she be.

@Starlight From post to post I have been picking up on some change and improvement in your designs, it is that same look someone's work has when start to established their own personal style which I think you may have found. Those are all some solid looking designs, very nice work.

@Nowshin Excellent job on your Leliana and I wholeheartedly approve of the dog pic, absolute win! Looks like he is smiling for that pic as well, what a ham lol

@LadyAly Arwenia has a great look, strong and intuitive. I also like her back story, you always seem able to compose very well worded descriptions for your characters

@Edaemonium Primal is definitely a word that comes to mind with this character. Her tattoo adds a lot something of an intimidating feel.

As written in my previous posting - Bethaine's eyes came in due to a overwritten
preset - I simply didn't dislike them and the freckles enough after being stumped
by changes I didn't apply to her myyself to overwrite the morph.

Alright well I have been trying to change my overall style some by approaching my characters a little differently. I have decided to make characters that are more simplistic in design(Basically without a lot going in the face with regard to tattoos and such) but still manage to make them look unique. More natural looks focusing more on texture blends and complimenting/contrasting color choices. This is a remake of one of my much older characters Christian and a newer one Julia.

Faye looks pretty though I dislike the "robe". But it is just the different of taste.

@ Nowshin, "Leliana" is nice as usually. Though I find it hilarous that she seems like to hit the dog in the last screenshot.

@ LadyAly, thank you for your appreciation of Prin. I'm satisficed with the tattoo as it looks like tears dropping from his eyes.

I like the nearly invisible scar on Arwenia's face. It gives her the character.

@ Saerwen, thank you for you comments on Prin. I like his design as well. Actually, if you click onto the pics it will show a larger version, maybe you can have a better view of Karlus.

Isbella looks really nice. She seems to have a regal aura around her. Faeron, well, I think the bronze hair is too similar to the skin color. It makes them almost indistinguishable. I suggest to either darken the hair or the skin. It may make him better.

@ Y.H., from the three characters I like Sirene the most. However, her armor is a bit put off. For that angle the armor is a male armor and it doesn't show the body shape of female at all.

@ adneate, I like the human warrior! He looks awesome and is a truely son of Bryce and brother of Fergus. I'm quite the opposite to you that I enjoy creating male characters more than female.

@ Chairon de Celeste, I agree with LadyAly about the eyes for the dwarf lady. It doesn't fit well with her facial features. Well, that's my personal taste again.

Christian is really handsome! The hair style really match the facial features.

However, what dishearten him most is not the dangerous of magic but the corruption from within. He is already tired of endless power struggle and politics within the chantry. Then he makes up an excuse to trace a certainly apoastate such that he can stay away from the mess and at least has a moment of peace.

Your Mythalle V1.0 kinda gets me thinking of a long haired Xena! I mean this in a good way because i'm a Xena Fan who grew up on her & Herc!

Your Mythalle V2.0 looks like she coulda grew up alongside Morrigan.

Your Dalish Elf Preset, I dunno... He looks good, but I don't think he's making the wide Jaw work. Consider narrowing the Jaw a little. That's about it. Oh wait, one more thing, he's an outdoors liver, so shouldn't he be tanner than that?

Julia looks like the kinda girl that woulda grew up in a small village & been unpopular & seen as a noone, making a cynical & pessimistic girl outta her! Her long face gives her Character! I can imagine her being taller than normal girls, with a skinny/thin frame. If it was possible to make her a tall, skinny, thin body to go with her Morph, she could make for an interesting Special NPC!

Starlight: I didn't know Bidelle's had Eye Tints... That sounds interesting. I'm currently using 'More Hairstyles', 'Pineappletree's Vibrant Colors', & 'Tucked Hairs'. Do ya know if Bidelle's can cooperate with these Mods?

Orwan's cool! He would be epic with an Arnold Schwarzenegger Voice!

Marlek is great! Though he might not wanna try crossing Ghoulia!

Xanethiel rocks! I think the problem is his Hair... I don't think it's working on him. I'm not sure what to suggest as a replacement though, what kinda Demon Undead is he?

@Tyrax, Schratty & LadyAly: thanks for the comments and the suggestions about improvements, but these 3 characters were the ones I used to finish the game, so it's kind of pointless to edit them now. Plus, I am used to how they look and my aim with them wasn't to create the perfect / flawless face. I appreciate your suggestions though. I’ll keep them in mind for my next characters.



@ Nowshin: I'm glad you liked my dwarven warden. Indeed he was my badass play-through for DA:O. As for my human warden you were spot on about his personality, this was my intention with him. I role-played him paladin-style, you know saving all kitties and making Morrigan disapprove to every huge moral decision he made.



@ Caladhiel: Wow, you’re good! Indeed, my elven warden was inspired by Gannayev of dreams from NWN2 – MotB. What a super-cool character, eh?
