Forlorn: Usha's cool! She definitely looks part Demon! Yet she seems as if she has not succumbed to the Dark Side. Is this intended?
adneate: Anya looks like a pampered, sheltered Noble Lady gone to war, & being too brave to let on how scary it is to face Combat without being properly trained or prepared for it!
Faye (2) looks like a common tavern girl playing soldier, & confident of victory! She's cool! (Ordinary person in extraordinary circumstances ftw!
Nowshin: I like all 3 versions of Morrigan, though I have to give my vote to the 'Lore' Version. Or, perhaps Lore Morrigan's Lips on the Original. 1 of the 2.
KenzeKillah: Sxin's still lookin good, but now I can see her better. It might be worth a try to widen her Nostrils just a little. That's about it.
Chairon de Celeste: Elaine & Hawk are still cute little buggers!
mochen: ... ??? I thought I was being open in my feedback... have I failed this Thread...?
Plus, I too have noticed Designs having similarities too, but I don't say anything about it because I don't see any reason at all why this would be a bad thing, or even relevant.
Keenan has badass written all over him!
awpdevil: She's gorgeous! & she's lookin sweet & innocent to boot!
Schratty: Luc fits his role perfectly! That's the kinda Face a person can just plain wanna Knuckle Sandwich!

@Forlorn: Welcome back!
@mochen: One word: hot!
@Citadel569: How right you are! Everyone has his own style and characteristics which he should treasure - I mean, that's part of the fun of this thread, isn't it?
Will post on the other designs later... have to take a shower...

@ Tyrax - hehe sorry, you are always very honest with your feedback. No worries.
Ah yeah well, Keenan is obviously a black guy, so I think his lips were properly proportioned for that type of face, and I don't really want to change them. Thanks for the feedback though! it's always welcome

As for the makeup, I was going for a gothic look and I love the dark lips and eyeshadow, it's my personal preference. But I will admit that lighter makeup also works, it did suit the lore version. So I guess I'll make a 3rd version with Aesthetics proportions and Lore makeup.

Hook up a playa!
Sorry if this out of the confines of the thread. Maybe it belongs in Toolset discussion? (shrugs shoulders) (flicks fly off shoulder)

@Citadel569: You are very rightI don't plan to actually change "my style" based on anyone's preferences, but I'm always up for fixing wrongly proportioned elements. After observing her more, I think I'll pass up the eyebrow fixing idea since it doesn't seem out of place and the exact curve of eyebrows is impossible to get. The only fix would be to move up the eyes which is a huge non-no since that would change the whole face.

For sure! Keep doing what you are doing dude!

and thank you for sharing your Leliana's on the Bard from Orlais thread..
@Nowshin: Your new Orlesian mage -name? I like her and yeah, change the tatoo color.. darker but maybe not black- overall I love the coloring but the blush may be a tad to dark.. Ephy still gorgeous.. and I love the mid-air screenie Elain.. hmm... interesting story from Nan!
@CdC: I am intrigued by your screen shots... do you play like that or are they manipulated? Hawke is certainly unigue with her pixie-like features ...
@Tyrax: Tayo I would like her more without the tat.. but she certainly has your style
@LiquidGrape: Could we get more pics of your Lilith Cousland? she looks gorgeous from that angle btw
@PanosSmirnakos I like the barber!
@LadyAly: Kudos on your Morrigan.. she looks very "pouty"
@KenzeKillah: the avatar pic certainly doesn't do justice to your elf..
@mochen: Sara is a sexy, sultry creation.. I actually like that hair style on her!
@Saerwen: your character is lovely but, I do think the tatoo distracts from her lovely eyes
@Forlorn: Usha she looks sad rather than demonic.. Maybe a lift to her eyebrows?
@adneate: two more lovely designs with your style..
@awpdevil: she's a very pretty creation
@Schratty: Luc.. he looks like a Leli/Rory (Ser Gilmore) child.. but what do you mean by 'smarmy"?
done.. for now.. I've been playing rather than creating lately

@Mochen Thank you! Must have just been the lighting in the deep roads but I'll have to use that tint on a male design sometime.

I don't use image manipulation software - I just try to catch the right moment, lighting and outside cutscenes
the right angle. I have no objections against photoshop or gimp - I just like to use effects when they fit in
- like the grey filter for a turning in Psylocke life grey for the smaller picture representing her past and normal
colors for the big wedding scene screenshot, and before that a sepia filter for a screenshot from a flashback
cutscene within an elder scrolls IV quest mod about 2 years ago.
I admire the hard work deathknowz, roguesun and others invest in ps'ing their images and adore the results
- it just isn#t my style

But thanks for all the nice comments. It was more a test if I get critical words and I got
Which means this thread is on the right way.
@Nowshin and Chairon - Morrigan looks awesome in the shots.
But you light up the pictures Chairon - right ?
@mochen Keenan is probably the most sexy and badass manly design I have seen so far *lol*
@Schratty
@Citadel welcome here - You know what - I had used a long time only CC and downloaded simple all what worked in CC. Go to Nexus - and browse

Totally agree with you on that. If you ever look at the images section on Oblivion Nexus, it's just a bunch of Photoshopped images.
http://www.tesnexus.com/imageshare/
I only have respect for the guys there who have mods that actually LOOK like the pictures shown. There's some guys who do great work and the pictures match and I respect those. But I don't care much about the ones where the image looks nice but the actual mod looks nothing like it. There's a LOT. And I mean a lot. They're Photoshop artists but not face guys. Sorta reminds me of my heydays in Friendster. Girl looks cute. You see her in person. Pleh.
I always feel like I'm missing a ton of mods because it looks nothing like what's shown on the picture. Then I realize they're just using Photoshop.
But I have mad respect for everyone here because it's fantastic designs and I know the locations and where they are at. I see pictures of the .mrh files with the grey background thinkamajig. That's all skill!
Still, I wish Dragon Age had a camera system like Oblivion. Seems like the only way I can get a decent picture is having my lady right behind some barrel.

Nope - it is just the flame rune light of the sword.
I've noticed though that the fraps bmp shots take over the
ingame gamma settings while the jpg in the da o screenshot
directories don't - as a result they look a lot darker than the bmp.
So I save the bmp as jpg via irfan view and upload them instead.

@Caladhiel, skimpy robe or not, Fay is gorgeous, I really like her lips with a tiny hint of a smile.
@Tyrax Lightning, a late welcome back. \\o/ Garian Aeducan is neat looking, and I like the red hair/red eyes combo as well, maybe a change of hairstyle would make it look better? Tayo is cute, at least when she's thinking of socking Greagor. Silly Harrowing chamber.
@Saerwen, Isabella has a nice noble look about her, nice colour combination with her. Faeron has the scars and tattoos to make him look less baby-faced, but there is something that makes him look more soft than tough, no offence. I'd love to help, but I'm hopeless with male elves.
@yasuraka.hakkyou, I really like your female elves there, especially Sirene is striking. And that shot of Yvaine is awesome.
@adneate, both your Cousland design and Dalish elf are excellent designs, the Dalish does look like he'd just love to shoot you with an arrow. I can see you've based Anya on your not so nice noble, but she does look very different, colour is indeed very important. I really like the colour choices on her and your elf, Faye.
@Schratty, I adore Kat, she does look apathetic, although I imagine her look must be somewhat different whilst daydreaming of a Liam/Wulfgang sandwich. <.< The last shot of them is just, yummy. :3 Ser Ponceface, I mean... Luc, does like a spawn of Leliana and Ser Gilmore, I'd dread to meet that tbh. Admittedly, he does look good. I'd probably call him Ser Ponceface anyway, though.
@AvatarHunter, Christian has a nice look about him, natural and simple, yet a very you'ish design, and also, very good looking. Julia is stunningly beautiful, there is something about her overall look that is just so very pretty.
@Zeleen, Shyal is adorable! Cute'n'deadly in a tiny fiery package. Love the bushy red hair!
@LadyAly, I really like your Leliana design, I agree with you that she is a beauty and the sad gaze suits her. Your take on Morrigan is a good one as well, you've managed to keep her Morrigan'ish look and added some of your own style, 'tis indeed a nice version of her.
@Nowshin, your Orlesian mage has a nice mysterious look about her, although not a fan of the spider on her head, then again, that's more due to me having a serious fear of spiders in any form. Besides that, I'll admit it does suit her. Ephemera looks nice after her slight makeover, she looks like royalty.

@Chairon de Celeste I have no idea how irfan is working - but its really amazing how bright your screenshots are.
@Neveri thank you
@Saerwen You don't spam the thread - I know this feeling well
I still think her eyes aren't right - maybe narrow them a hair ?
Her brows are very good - I guess its a mod ?
Okay - this is my take on Morrigan. Since they are existing a lot of lore and aesthetic versions I tried to find a different style - without take away the Morrigan we all know.
In my mind she is a real wild, exotic witch, grown in the wilds - so I made her make up more like a mask, keeping the purple shade. Her skin darker and gave her a *non-perfect* nose.

I wholeheartedly support the different take on morrigan, and the skin color change was a nice idea! But the eye makeup looks more like bruises, I don't know how to make it look less like she's sick/battered, but I'm sure there's a way.
Other than that I don't have any more thoughts that can be cosidered constructive criticism and not whining. I guess after using a modded morrigan for a whole playthrough I have forgotten how her face really looked and keep trying to find that face everywhere.

I don't like purple - but as I mentioned I wont remove the whole Morrigan appearance - and her eye makeup is purple.
Look at this - I would say this looks more sick then mine *lol*
The brows I made as a closure to the *mask* so I think I shouldn't change them.

transfer from huge bmp to the smaller jpg file size.
Fraps does the
'What you see ingame is what you get as a screenshot' magic
@awpdevil: Yourv mage looks lovely - the previous one where she raises her eyes
to the sky don't do her cretit in comparison.

UK File server and expected down-time for all Nexus sites

Just a quick update on the UK file server (in Maidenhead) and an
announcement of expected down-time for all Nexus sites in the coming
week.
The Maidenhead server had a rocky life, clearly unable to
cope with the amount of Europeans trying to download from the server it
was hit or miss whether it would work at any time of the day. The server
is now completely offline and is pending a replacement. Which leads to
the next news.
It's server upgrade time for the Nexus sites. With
the launch of Fallout: New Vegas looming, the knowledge that I'll be
launching a seperate site for New Vegas rather than incorporating it in
to Fallout 3 Nexus (for ease-of-use and clutter reduction reasons) and
the ever increasing member base across the Nexus sites (now over 1.75
million members) it's a good time to improve the infastructure before
the next influx of members.
The forums will be moving to a new
super powerful server, about twice as powerful as the current Nexus
servers and will be accompanied by the New Vegas Nexus site closer to
the launch of the game. The server the forums currently inhabit will be
converted in to the new UK file server that should be much better
equipped to deal with all the European downloaders.
As the forums
are integral to the running of all the Nexus sites this does mean that
all the Nexus sites will be taken offline while this transfer is
actioned. The down-time should be around 8 hours give or take 4 hours.
As the forum database is very large and has some extremely large indexes
that the move will require to be rebuilt the time frame is very loose.
I'll provide an update on the exact date of this down-time closer to the time
