@ AvatarHunter: I like fuller lips, too, but aside from Neveri and myself (as far as female posters go), I think we're alone :/ Haha. Thanks for your feedback!

Ser Stamos - The skin texture you used was a nice choice. It really helps give him a rugged look (he's in some serious need of exfoliation and a good moisturizer :P). You did a wonderful job with his features (mouth, eyes, etc...), but I especially love his nose!

Creighton - He reminds me a great deal of the smokin' hot Daniel Craig (as I just realized someone already mentioned...I should really read everyone's comments before I reply :/ ). I think his blue eyes help convey a look of compassion, yet he also looks like he'd share Ser Stamos' great sense of humor.

Captain Dunmore - Simply put: his mustache is made of WIN. The blending on his morph is excellent as well.

@ adneate: I know what you mean with the hairstyle - it stinks of nobility :P As already mentioned to AvatarHunter, I, too, love me some full lips ;) Your latest male is very handsome and realistic (so he fits perfectly with your style!), however, I will say that the difference in nose bridge width and nose tip width seems a little too disproportionate. Maybe widen the bridge just a hair? Oh, and I love his lips, they're very masculine and pleasing to the eye :)

@ Neveri: I love Fahari so hard! I think one of my favorite things about her design is the color palette. It's fairly monochromatic, but the different bronze-y shades together really make a bold statement. Morrigan only wishes she looked that good.

@ LadyAly: I really like the oval shape of Cisseia's face, and her features are well-proportioned. I also think the thinned eyebrows were a clever choice for this particular design :) I must say, after seeing a few of the green skin/red hair morphs, I kind of want to try my hand at one ;)

@ mochen: Wow, Esau has changed since the last I saw him. I really like what you've done. He's very rugged :D

@ Tyrax: The red hair you ended up going wtih is excellent :D Awesome stuff!

@ Zeleen: I think Mortisha's hair, eye, skin, and make-up color all work wonderfully together. She looks like a sultry seductress ;)

@ Citadel569: Richard is a solid base design :D However, I agree with what some of the others have said: you might consider making his eyes a more realistic color (not necessarily blue, although that would probably look really nice), decreasing his tattoo intensity, thinning his lower lip, and blending his skin texture to give it a rougher appearance. As always, these are merely suggestions, feel free to ignore :P

@Nowshin Faye's skin tint is pt_skn_c01 blended very lightly (Mostly around the eyes) with Bidelle5

@AvatarHunter It might be that, Creighton has unusual features so prehaps it was just that. I will say your two latest characters are quite well done, they remind me somewhat of how BioWare did a few of their characters. Only with someone taking far more time and care in crafting them.

As for that male design I definitely have to rework the nose, that much is clear! I think I have a pretty good idea of what it will take to fix the problem. Now I just need to figure out how to get the other eyebrow types to do what I want.

Thanks guys for the comments on Esau!

@ AvatarHunter - I think me and you take a totally different view to creating morphs. You say that you make morphs that look different, and that's very true on this forum. I like that fact that you aren't afraid to make morphs with realistic proportions, and all your designs could easily pass off as the sort of genuine faces you'd see in real life. Is that fair to say?

I'm different in a way because I try to make designs that are perhaps a bit more fantasy orientated, and aren't all about being totally realistic.

Also, you've probably noticed, but morph making is not the whole picture for me...when making a character, often I will design them with a specific outfit and setting in mind. Take Esau for instance, he's supposed to be a bandit, so I dressed him in rugged light armour, stuck him in a setting where it looks like he would have a camp. And with the particular direction he is facing in the shot, I narrowed his eyes so it looks like he is squinting in the sun.

Your characters seem to be designed with a real personality and story behind them, and the way you construct your faces is how you tell the story. It's quite skillful how you do this.

Although sometimes I will give some background to my characters, it's more important for me to get the composition of a screenshot right. Like a painting I suppose, I try and tell a story that way. I'm not sure how often it works, but it's what I try and achieve.
Maybe I'm completely wrong, but thats how I think our styles differ.

@Adneate Thanks and for my latest characters I was aiming for more of a npc look as opposed to playable characters so I see you picked up on that notion. Also for your male I thought the nose was questionable but I don't like pointing out obvious things. I imagined that would be something you were looking to tweak since it looks like you were going more for a bulbous or wide shaped nose. You also may already have it but this is a great eyebrow mod I use that helps their overall look and shape.

@Mochen I will say I wholeheartedly agree on your deduction of our different takes on designs. From you mentioning that it also does make my understanding of your style alot clearer now for male and female designs. I guess in most cases people can only really judge someone elses work based off elements that they implement or are familiar with so i am glad that you spelled out your style in that manner. It helps me see them in a different light and thank you much for the compliment :)

Due to time constrain I have only finished one morph. (Click the image to see a larger version)

Arin - Remember the side-quest "Zerlinda's Woe"? She is casted out by her father because she refuse to abandon her casteless child. If the warden convince her father to accept Zerlinda and her son back, Zerlinda promises the warden she will send the child to serve the Grey Warden once he grows up. What if the child has grown up?

The child, Arin is fascinated by the legends of the warden who saved his mom and him and, in turn defeated the Archdemon. After he has grown up, his mom keeps the promise and send him to the order of Grey Warden. Arin manages to pass the Joininng. The more he knows about the sacrifice Grey Warden has done, the more he respects the order. Now, as a Junior Grey Warden (well, don't mind the armor, though :P), he still has a lot to learn.

I've finally done up a few characters and even gotten through the actual creator with them. I tend not to. I tend to muck things up, try to get back to a point I recognize, fail to do so, and then make a flurry of grunts and slurs and what not and give up.

I've gotten into game with a Human Noble and a City Elf. Please, be kind. And any suggestions would be happily accepted, but note that I don't think I want to totally lose some of the unique look. (I'm also going to hope I know how to post images on here.)

Human Noble, who will probably become a remade Rogue Archer, in the event I can stomach playing an archer again:

And now the City Elf. I tried basing her somewhat off Rubi Malone, the character from Wet. Yes, it's the whole beatdown vibe of the CE Origin.

We'll go with those for now. I do have some other shots loaded up, and I left the first auto-saves so I can get back in there and get more if I have to.

Oh, and Rubi, given that I mentioned her per the elf:

Thanks for looking! And thanks in advance for any comments/suggestions.

@Bitterfoam~Thanks for posting up some morphs, can you get some closer pics up on both your noble and your city elf. I know the camera system SUCKS it helps to walk up to a well lit wall, barrel, tree etc and then fiddle w/ camera zoom to get the shot. They look nice, but it is hard to get a read on them. I love redheads and elves, so they already get points, but I desire to get closeups! Thanks!

That's the only other close one I have, at the moment. I posted the two best screenshots from the elf. The only other screens I have are some side views, though they came out bad for the elf since the hair is in the way.

I'll get back in game in a bit, after I get back home, and take some more.

I liked that red hair the best. I can change the style so it's less resembling the Sacred Ashes Leliana - which, now that it's mentioned, is why it seemed so familiar. Hah. There's a couple other short hair options.

Okay, the closer screens. (And since I didn't state it earlier, though it's probably pretty obvious to all of you, this is with the in-game character creator, not the toolset.)

Tried to get some side views as close as possible, but some of the camera angles suck. The human at least had the kindness to shift idly as I was screenshotting, though. Haha. Anyway, hope those are good. If not, I can get back in and try to do better.

@ LadyAly - Yep. I can see definite improvements in Cisseia. Nice work on an already fantastic design!

@ Starlight - He looks very innocent for a dwarf, and you pulled off a very youthful look too. maybe it's his big eyes? What is that white stuff in his hair?

@ Bitterfoam - Test F has a nice look to her. good choice of hairstyle. I think it works well. She has lots of potential

@ mochen: There is a glitch in Oghren's hairstyles. The hair textures doesn't cover up well which result in the texture of head being show up, i.e. the white color you have seen. That's the reason I always have mixed feelings towards this hairstyles...:(

@ bitterfoam: I agree with mochen, your HNF is a great base design. I like the shape of her face, but her features look a little too big. I'd recommend narrowing her mouth a few clicks, shrinking her eyes a bit, and decreasing her nose size. Hope that's helpful :)

@ Starlight: There's a way to fix that. Open up your character's .mor in the toolset, click on tints, look down towards the bottom and you should notice under the value column something strange like: pt_stbhar_re4 (or something similiar). Rename this to the proper hair color (ex: if you're using PT's red #4, rename this value "pt_har_re4")

@ Bitterfoam: Thank you for your comments! :)

For the Human Female Noble, I think the chin is way up too high, which makes her face looks a bit short. How about lower her chin a bit, then slightly widen her jaw?

The lighting of area where the City elf lady resides in is not enough, it is too dark to have a detail look about her. Maybe you will try to take some shots under the open area with sunlight?

@ Calin: The angle of the shots taken doesn't show the facial features clearly. Do you mind to capture one with the frontal view?

@Mochen I think the changes are very cool! I really like looking at your characters they're always so unique.

I think I fixed the nose problem on the previous design, as well I have another shot of Faye Tabris in better much more neutral lighting. Strange how a something that started just out of the blue turned into such an involved process, but I guess that's where the best characters come from. I'm tempted to say that I have a version of Faye that will be considered "done" or at least as done as these things can be for me, which means I might not pick at it for a month.

First of all and before I comment the latest designs I have to say I was working still on Morrigan. Now I found the final version - at least for me. I did some smaller changes and tweaked her with the suggestions I got.
Since the post is a lot of sides behind I will post the old and final one.

Old Version ( was Nr.5 )

Final Morrigan ( guess Nr. 13 or so <.< )

**********************************************************************************************************************

@AvatarHunter you *old* companions having a lot of character and the faces telling stories *thumbs*
Thanks for the kind comment on Cisseia - I mentioned it before. I think the Brecialian forrest is far to mystique - and so I created the Dryad warrior queen - inspired from badboy64's unique designs.

@Chairon de Celeste OMG !!! SO many freckles ?! More freckles then face *lol* How you did this ?

@Starlight A baby dwarf - he is so cute !

@Bitterfoam I like what you show - you can use the space bar to let the pic freeze and moving the camera - at least I got my screenshots in this way.

@Nowshin <3 !
@mochen    pinkish bubbles as a manly desire dream in the Harem of a Sultan ?? !!
She is simply awesome !!!
thanks  for the compliment  on Cisseia

@adneate *lol* yes I can feel with you - I already think to start anew with the old designs B)

@Calin a good start and base I would say - there is something wrong with his features, though. Can't put my finger on it clearly - maybe his mouth ?
I'm sorry - pretty pretty tired after a very long day
