@Neveri Lol Morriana, very clever
@Starlight Points to you for thinking outside the box on this latest character, indeed we have not seen any male desire demons or really even the idea of one for that. His color choices are rather flamboyant but considering what he is those choices could pass to some degree. I also have taken notice that you tend to make your dwarfs with more refined noses instead of the usual bulbous and wide shapes which I have come to find as something different in your view of dwarfs.
@Bitterfoam The jawline of your character looks fine but if I had to suggest anything it would probably be the amount of gaunt he has which seems to make his cheekbones protrude some. Then again if this is based off your own appearance I can only comment to a certain extent since you know how you look and I don't.
@Zeleen Ilekrah is certainly very nostalgic looking that is for sure. She harbor a bit of similarity to Tempest yes but you can obviously see that their values and proportions are different. I think it is just the color choices that give any real similar fell from the two. I like her inverted triangular face shape though and I personally like that eye makeup, it just looks nice to me.
@Awpdevil I will definitely throw my vote in for your second attempt at your daggery goddess of death. Compared to the first one she still carries some of the look you initially wanted but doesn't look so similar to your mage now and is more their own character.
@Adneate Thanks for the comment and yes the toolset can be quite difficult when attempting certain feature shapes. I really like experimenting with different ethnicities within my designs because they all their own distinct proportions so I have worked alot at manipulating certain sliders to get the look I want. Something that I have noticed about your designs also is that face shape wise you seem to leave little room for error, imo you tend to get the overall look molded well. That being said I like the square shaped jawline, that always helps elf males look more masculine to me.
@Megalust It is nice to see some more of your elf designs posted, they have a very recognizable appearance. Good choice on the size of Sorcha's features, since you did not go with a small and dainty look since she is an elf it made her overall look stronger and have more presence to it. Nice touch with your signature like scars as well.
@Nowshin First I would just like to say that it is nice to see someone so pleased with something they have created, that in itself makes me more fond of your design. He also does indeed share a fair amount of resemblance to DA 2's Hawke. If nothing else it is a well crafted character and I think your zealous attitude towards him is very appropriate lol.
@Tyrax My apologies sir but I cannot comply. Since the creator of that armor didn't really leave anything to the imagination I think I will by not posting a full body shot lol. If you are really that curious though just think of a thong that is three sizes too small hah.
@Saerwen The tattoos are a part of the robe in this mod.

Alright I gave this another shot. Tried a different preset morph then the one I chose for my mage. and went from there. Only thing in common with my mage is the eye color. I'm a sucker for blue eyes.
I like how this one came out. I rethought what I wanted her to be though, I think I will hold off on the 2 handed goddess of death, and try a goddess of daggery death. Was feeling lazy, so I only did one shot. I could be persuaded to take more if someone REALLY wants more. Just make sure your coercion skill is capped.
She looks much better now. The color combo of her eyes and hair is pretty striking. The eyes might use a little bit of a squint (there's a squinty eye shape in the character creator - I'm thinking what you have there is eye shape #3, so eye shape #2 would be the squinting one), but I'm a fan of the design of these normal eyes myself. I like the shape of them.

Here's the Cousland male I'm trying out now. I want him looking young and inexperienced, overall, so I went with the youngest preset in the CC - #2, because all the others look way too old even with the lowest skin complexion. I tried going off pictures of Bryce and Fergus, and I think there's some resemblance, but the nose will never be as theirs. The nose shapes for that preset are awful, and I failed miserably at making them look even half-decent.

I finally managed to get my toolset working properly, so it gave me some better options to make him more resemble the vision I have of him in my head.
I'm not sure about the facial hair, but he definitely looks more "rogue"-like.
Tell me your thoughts!

Just kidding.
@Starlight, thank you.
@awpdevil, your human female is cute, I like the shape of her face and her mouth.
@Zeleen, I really like Ilektrah, I think that golden tattoo works very well on her, and she looks lovely.
@adneate, your City Elf rogue looks great, the scar is a nice touch and gives him a slightly more hard look.
@megalust, thank you for the compliments.
@Ibaru88, Silver looks mysterious and pretty, at least from what you can see of her face. Garret is actually quite handsome, he's working that mustache well, gives him a sly look. I think Ivar is my favourite though, he's good looking, and I'm a sucker for dark haired men.
@Bitterfoam, your Cousland looks very young, although I'd try to make the nose ridge wider and his lips thinner, at least his lower lip. If you want to have him resemble his brother and dad, you might want to check out a mod called ''All in the Family'' on dragonnexus. Also, VirusCats preset replacement mod is excellent. You're just using the in-game character creation screen, aren't you?

I am using just the in-game character creator, yes. I fully intend these characters to be used in play, per their origins, so I don't want/need to go into the toolset, even if it frees up more options. I want my characters to look good, but I'm okay with being limited by the CC.Neveri wrote...

I'll check out the two mods you mentioned. Will they cause any conflictions with Bidelle's Makeup Studio, Pineapple Tree's colors, and what not?

@Avatarhunter: I'm particularly pleased with him because I wanted to broaden my horizons and create more manly looking characters, and who better than th epic beard-wielding Hawke?

Up until a few days ago I was stuck with only using the in-game creator, if you look at my album called Various Characters, all of those are made with the in-game creation creator, and of course a bunch of great mods.

Anyway, I'm currently working on an male city elf now, that I want to make into an archer character, seeing as how I have never played an archer in DA... but there's a problem... no matter how I try he always ends up looking super generic, and if I try to deviate from that and make him look unique, he ends up looking like a twit...
so... I guess what I'm trying to say here is...
Help!!

Looking now. I know great looking characters can be made with the in-game CC. I'm just still in the process of learning to not make misshapen lumps.Neveri wrote...
@Bitterfoam, you can make some great looking characters with the in-game character creation, just takes some practice and patience. I don't think they'll conflict with those mods, but they will override the normal presets. There is also another mod, pretty faces for male and females. I've never liked it all that much as I think they all look the same, but some of them have some nice base features you can tweak quite a lot.

Regarding the male Cousland: I can't make his lower lip any smaller without basically making the upper lip about as wide as a line. That preset just has a really big lower lip. So the lower lip is a problem, and the nose is a slight problem. But all the other presets look too old and weathered.
Is replacing all the normal presets with the mod you mentioned worth it?

I decided to try to make him after seeing these other recent posts... and yes, it is quite hard to get the appearance of youth and innocence in this game...
anyway... here's "Pup" Cousland (work in progress)

I downloaded Viruscat's presets, as recommended. Here's the result. The preset changed my options for stubble, as I can no longer get it for a goatee. Still, doesn't look too bad. I changed the hair, too, since this option better resembles the possibility of growing out like Bryce and Fergus. Too bad it's the Alistair-hair. I like it, but it makes them look a little more similar. Still, I don't want long hair on the character. The preset also made the nose shapes not suck as much, so I think I got a nose that better resembles the Cousland nose. (I did not install the All in the Family mod.)

I think I need maybe a break - or I'm simple and just right now burned out from work.
So don't forgive me all if I don't comment on any design.

You stole my hair and stubble. *Shakes fist!* The nose has that bump in the bridge from the side-view. You might be able to reduce it by lowering bridge depth, but it depends on the nose shape. Unless it's how you want it.

I included the bump in the nose because Bryce has it
And yes... sorry about the slight hair and facial hair theft... just thought it looked good.
Anyway, your new version looks good, though not as young as he did before... from what I've seen of the Cousland noses, they seem to be pretty thing around the tip and bridge and then have some pretty wide nasal... things? ...
oh... and a bump... at least Bryce has a bump... don't know about Fergus...

I revamped Alistair long ago, and I am very well aware that there are many Alistair purists out there, so if you are one of them, just pretend he is a PC! I wanted him to look more rugged, a guy who has been out in the field killing darkspawn. I also wanted him to be more my vision, so this was developed not for lore or necesarily w/aesthetics in mind. Please let me know what you think, if his anatomy is skewed etc.

Ok this last one is just for fun, and it is an old revision, check out his nose!!!
