@ Petehog - Uh, you know, I actually prefer your first version as well. I'm not sure why. Maybe version 2's lower face is a little short and stubby? That might be it. Hard to tell from the angle though.

@ LadyAly - I love these Nymph designs! They are a very cool concept. And the armour you are using works so well!

@ Ibaru88 - I think you've blended his scars and his eyebrows together nicely. Yeah, I'm not sure about that hairstyle either. Try a few other and see what happens.

@ Caladhiel - I think your design is stunning! Maybe her makeup is a touch on the heavy side though? You could perhaps lighten the blush a tad?

Ok! I just made my first tattoo! and it is...*drum roll* - a black dot!
haha, actually it's supposed to be a beauty spot. In the same place Marylin Monroe had hers. Not much of an attempt I know, but maybe it does add a little something extra to a design?

It actually surprises me how much that one little dot does for the design. I would like to hear how you imagine her personality. The beauty spot makes her seem like someone who cares very much for her appearance and might even be a bit flirtatious or even use her beauty to get what she wants. She does have that sort of dignified look about her so I wouldn't peg her as some floozy.

Gah... the role player in me seems to be getting the best of me...
I might be completely off in my assumptions, but that is just my take on her.

Also, I made a few adjustments to my evil mage Ryzel.
Nothing major, apart from the hair... just a few minor tweeks to his chin and jaw. Have a look!







The brightness of Ostegar doesn't really do the character justice... the "evil" I'm going for doesn't really seem to able to shine through properly in all that daylight and green foliage, but I tried to get the best screen shots I could.
I'm thinking I'll be able to get a few decent shots of him in the wilds, or maybe even at Flemeth's hut.... hmm... the deep roads might also offer some good shots... what with all the dark and the redish hue everything seems to have down there.

I believe that is just a full on body replacement mod of some kind... but I might be wrong...
That is however the body of a desire demon...

@Bitterfoam, nice take on a male dwarf there. He has a nice air of nobleness about him, nice use of colours as well.

@Tyrax Lightning, your new race made me giggle, lovely little background story, and a fun concept! And, nothing says evil more than a floating male head above a pair of boobies, lol.

@Saerwen, Tanna is really beautiful, she's really rocking that tattoo. Love the second screenshot of her, I got a few of those as well, but most of the time they come out looking horrible.

@Petehog, I really prefer version 2 as well, there's just something so very.. manly about him. Excellent designs both of them, though.

@LadyAly, yay, more nymphs! She looks awesome, I love the colours on her, and those tattoos are really working. Very lovely!

@Caladhiel, your elf is quite pretty, and as for what you could change, adneate has pretty much said all the things I would have suggested as well.

@Ibaru88, he looks quite the evil bastard, lovely! The second hairstyle fits him much, much better. The light in Ostagar is silly, but I really dig the last screenshot of him. Oh and, you are infact, wrong about that armour, it is indeed armor and not place-head-on-desire-demon mod. ;p

@mochen, small subtle details can make a design, even if it's just a tiny black dot. I've been missing things like that, actually, love it! And of course, she looks very lovely.

On a side note, I'm just done re-designing Leliana, Zevran, Wynne and Alistair. Besides the somewhat annoying tendency to crash, I love the toolset. I should get around to make a character I to go with my new party now, hah.

oh, my bad. 
It is the desire demon garb though, right?...
It looks like a good port of the armor, but I've never been much for the "sexy armor" movement.
I mean... I'm going into battle... I want something that covers at the very least 60% of my body... seriously what are the chances of a dark spawn going in for the kill only to have his blow deflected by your magical +5 nipple clamps, lol.

But then again, it does look like she is a mage, so I'm guessing she has other form of protection... but come on... if you go walking around town in nothing but sleeves and nipple clamps... I doubt people will trust you with saving Ferelden, haha.

But, again... this is all just my opinion... and that shouldn't carry much weight on an internet forum for a game set in a fantasty world rife with real life improbabilities.

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words about the dwarf. It seems I can make good-looking hairy men and I'm horrible at everything else. =D But the trick's on you! What you DON'T know is that the dwarf looks like a trainwreck too. The big beard just hides it. Bwahahaha.

LadyAly: The dryad looks great. Nice choice of tattoos.

Caladhiel: Calista's pretty. What don't you like about her? The side-view is fantastic. Everything look balanced in general. And I like the colors.

Ibaru: Freaky elf guy. That's what he gets for wielding the Dark Side of the Force, right? Overall, he looks good. The hair makes him look a little emo, though - what with the bangs. What about a tail going straight back without bangs? (Edit: You already did this while I was posting. Well, then! I shall imagine you fed telepathically off my suggestion.)

mochen: She looks great. Hot. The beauty mark adds a lot of character for being such a small speck. I could gush more about it, but Ibaru did a good job of that above. I would concur with everything he said.

I decided I wanted my Leliana to resemble the way she looks in the Sacred Ashes trailer, because.. she's actually kind of cool there. I've never liked the default Leliana.
I actually quite like the version of her that I made, I might even drag her along in my party a few times now. Apologies to any Leliana fan's who doesn't approve, if nothing else, you won't have to look at her in your game.

Ibaru88: That's Aldric on my female dummy Mage. This was when I found out that sticking a Morph onto the opposite Gender doesn't work, even if the results are totally hilarious! I've been too lazy to make the Male Dummy Mage to stick Aldric onto for a proper Screenie.

Hey, you're right! He does look like Pete Postlethwaite! I didn't even mean to do that, though I don't regret it either. I didn't use any Model for his build, I made him completely from scratch.

mochen: Aldric is indeed a prior creation. I'll be buggered if I could remember what page(s) he's on though. He's a Human Male Mage, who's a Possessed Blood Mage. (& it's a Rage Demon Possessing him to boot! Not even one of the buff ones! )

Another two test on a certain hairtstyle
Sandy - Born in the slum, that means Sandy doesn't have much choice. She ended up being sold to a **** house young as her drunken dad can't repay the debt anymore. Working as a prostitute for 15 years, she has three children whose father she didn't sure. Her beauty faded, her health deteriorates. She knows that she is hopeless and doesn't last long. She has put all of her hope onto her children. Now, she works more harder to earn money and hopes the sum at least can help her children to escape this life.


Aresta - Her fate has been fixed for her at the beginning. Being a daughter of a minor noble means she doesn't have many choice. In order to achieve a higher status, her father determines to marry her to a higher lord who is 30 years older than her. She accepts this arrangement, though she won't be defeated so easily. She determines to make use of her unharmed appearance, wits and political sense to gain a status for herself.


Sarva V2 - I have tweaked him a bit to make him look more demonic. It is sad that the horns and purple flaming hair is not available for morphing

Leliana - She's a fountain of blood in the shape of a girl. I'm a bird on the brim, hypnotized by the whirl *Ahem* Anyways, I think she's quite adorable (as I've already mentioned) and I also really like the darker red for her hair. Stunning

@ Zeleen: Your version of Leliana is so pretty. I think the plump lips are a superb touch

@ Tyrax: Interesting new race concept...I'm reminded of the Thundercats for no reason in particular...

@ LadyAly: Casseia has such sultry eyes - I love them! I would suggest pushing in her nose top just a hair, but other than that, she's a superb design...I really can't stress how much I love her eyes and eyebrows!

@ Caladhiel: Calista is a nice base, and honestly, advice doesn't get any better than that given by adneate

@ Ibaru88: Ryzel's new hairstyle fits him much better. I really like the fact that he's a male elf who looks incredibly badass...those types of designs seem to be few and far between

@ mochen: Hey, it's a nice start! And beauty marks are something I've always wanted to incorporate into some of my designs: so, kudos! I think it definitely does add a nice dash of character

@ Starlight: I love Aresta's big doe eyes. Although, she does seem to look more like a frightened young girl than a shrewd political animal - I guess that only means that no one will suspect her nefarious plans

@ Schratty. Yup...you are right. When I write the background for her. I try to picture a lady "who is not what she seems" in mind. And thank you for the opinion, I have modified the story a bit based on your idea.

@Ibaru88 That is one freaky looking elf! I think you got the whole evil baby eating mage thing down, pretty cool.

@Neveri I'm a big fan of Leliana but not her vanilla morph, yours is quite well done. Only thing I can think to do would be to maybe make her face a little smaller by bringing the chin and mouth up to be closer to the nose.

There isn't any real continuity between Awakening and Origins so I kinda like making a new Orlesian Warden for it, however recently I've been thinking that the few derivitive designs I've made are for obvious reasons not quite up to the task of portraying the Veteran Warden-Commander the lore seems to speak of. I've gone in and remade from scratch or totally overhauled two characters I've pegged as Orlesian Wardens.

@ adneate: I love Leonie's somewhat "oversized" nose. I think the combination of her dark eyeshadow and the wrinkles on her forehead really help achieve an "experienced" look. I also think Sidona's serious expression is perfect for the role of the Warden-Commander, however, she could probably use heavier wrinkles around her mouth and underneath her eyes to go with the deep wrinkles on her forehead and her grey hair

@ Bitterfoam: The change in eye shape makes a drastic difference between the two versions of your HNM. The wider nose tip is also a nice touch, but have you considered making his complexion a little rougher? I come from a school of though that believes men look better with skin imperfections

@ badboy64: Your Female Elf is a great base design, however I would suggest decreasing the intensity of her tattoo a little. I'm looking forward to seeing how this morph progresses


So, this is just a minor morph. Like I've mentioned before, I've hit a dry spell. When playing a female city elf, I always wanted to confront Shianni for being a lying tart when she calls Nelaros "handsome". So, I've attempted to fix this inconsistency

@Schratty Thank you. I quite like Leonie's nose as well it suited her. As for Sidona I think you gave good advice I'll try to implement it the best I can I'm a bit annoyed that there isn't a dedicated mouth slider for texture blending you have to use blend all to get it to work, which adds wrinkles everywhere and makes her look as old as Wynne which she isn't. As for your Nelaros morph I'd think about widening his jaw and bringing the chin up just a little bit, should give a bit more masculine appearance while reducing the Elf male "super narrow and lumpy face" effect. Not that your morph is currently suffering from a case of that!

@Schratty Yeah tell me about it, I should try to make a custom texture for her with only wrinkles around the forehead, eyes and mouth. I tried to add more to the mouth but I couldn't get it to work right in the end, putting the slider up enough to notice them also added deep wrinkles around her eyes and cheeks. Taking those away just put the lip wrinkes back to the way they were, we'll just say that Elves age differently or something.

As for the new version of Nelaros, I can think of another thing to try! Use a little bit of nose shape 1 to bring his nostrils downwards should reduce the slightly flared look Elf males also tend to have.
