Here is with the tattoo less intensified. Notice the blacker hair color too.

@Charion: Not a very good moment to take a screenshot, taking pics when he's speaking looks so odd. BTW do you think I should tweak his teeth a little? :? It is showing a bit too much, I think.

@Caladhiel  Your new Avatar is gorgeous
Thanks for the comments and I have done what you suggested just some minutes before
Comparison of both versions for all who interested to look at
I already told you over PM about the new mage and adneate had summed up some things along, too.
But she is really pretty.

@Ibaru The evil mage looks not bad - even if I would lower his eyes and brows a bit.The other hairstyle works far better on him *thumbs*
@mochen A wonderful idea ! I love this dot <3  Your design fits the dot well
About my nymphs I think to make a Shamane now - but a slight problem with this robes. I want the one with the bra - but can't get the ModManager to work *lol*
@AvatarHunter Someone said once i try to make my designs like a symphony ;) and that is right. I am a sucker for harmonic colors and backgrounds.

@Tyrax  *giggle* true
The armor I use is from this mod Hsli
- but for some of them you will need the DA:O ModManager >.<  ( wont work here - or I'm just to idiotic to use the tool )

@Neveri <3 thx my dear
Your Leli is so pretty and fits well in your NPC Renditions - she is so you !

@Bitterfoam thanks to you as well
Your HNM gets better every time you post him !

@Starlight Hope you feel better soon
The first Girl looks strange - her chin is far too long and the eye cornea is too big - maybe narrow the eyes a tad and make it smaller.
The Guy looks good beside this strange haircolor :D
Sandy looks really like a wench - good work on her !
Aresta  is cute - beside the lipcolor you chose along with the haircolor *shudder* Don't be mad at me - you know I am a sucker for harmonic colors
As for Sarva - I like him, but well he is a demon isn't he - this smile seems not really fit this background - he looks very very friendly.

@Schratty YAY - thanks - I love this eye texture too on her - thanks to Petehog !
NelarosV2 looks very handsome - I wonder what hairstyle this is ? Have I missed it *lol* ?
Though, adneates advice might improve him further.

@adneate love your both designs - I see you always using equal table's for your designs - means *triangular* faces with a very short chin. It works well at your designs. Forgive me my english - not sure If I could make clear what I mean *lol*

@badboy64  The Female Elf is absolutely stunning, her facial features are so beautiful. I still think you should use on her a more delicate tattoo - It draws too much attention away from this wonderful face. The haircolor isn't matching - far too dark now. I would use a dark brown and a light red shaded tattoo - only on her forehead or at her eyes. But this is me - the sucker for harmony.;)

@Chairon Hawkistair made me snicker

Schratty: In my experience, the skin complexion slider tends to go from "young and youthful" to "grizzled old bastard" very quickly. I just played with it quickly after seeing your reply, and before starting to post this. Only the first two options would be applicable, but even they make his skin too leathery and eyes too sunken/bruised to retain the youthful noob appearance.

Thanks to LadyAly's wonderful nymphs I got into the mood to create another fantasy style character so I thought I would try my hand at a Drow Elf.

Lord Galcian

And just for the sake of being random, I found this pic of my young Duncan design in my photo gallery from awhile back.

@ AvatarHunter: I really like the rough skin texture you used on Lord Galcian. Also, even though his eye, skin and hair color contrast greatly, the work really well together. Nice work :D

P.S. Young Duncan = Sexy ;)

@ LadyAly: It's actually vanilla DA hair (har_ha2a_0) :)

@ Bitterfoam: I understand your predicament. I don't know if you have Viruscat's Presets already, but the blended versions would probably help you find a happy medium :)

Okay, third, and I'm going to say final version of Nelaros...Thanks adneate!

@Schratty thanks, most Drow Elfs from what I can recall have that really dark charcoal like skin with white hair so I just attempted to make it work with a lot of heavy skin texturing so the skin wouldn't just look smooth and blotchy like it usually does with those dark skin tones :)

I do have Viruscat's presets installed, but the non-blended ones, so they wouldn't override Bidelle's Makeup Studio. But I could probably pick-and-choose the blended presets for males, since I doubt I'll be giving them make-up.

Will that make him not look like a leathery putz?

@AvatarHunter - awww.. I'm glad to inspire you - and he is a perfect take on a Drow Lord

Young Duncan is very smexy

@Schratty LOL - thx dear - I think I make to less male - never noticed this style.
V3 is *thumbs up* He has a lot of mischief in his eyes ;P

@ Bitterfoam: It should probably help. HM #8 looks like it might be a good one to try. In the meantime, I'll tinker around with some blends in the toolset and and see if I can't come up with something custom ;)

Yep. HNM#8 was the preset I'd used for the recent tinkering.

@Tyrax Lightning, I shudder at the thought of a planet full of Leliana's, I'd probably go hug a darkspawn instead of living there. But, on the other hand, it would be a very pretty place to live. x)

@Starlight, I like Aresta, although she doesn't seem like a shrewd politician I'm sure she can take advantage of her innocent appearance. I also like Sarva, very vibrant colours.

@adneate, I really like your two Orlesian wardens. Especially how you've made them look more mature without having them look like old hags, excellent work.

@Schratty, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who find the original Nelaros quite horrible. I really like your version, though. He's actually handsome now, I'd actually not mind marrying him now. ;D

@AvatarHunter, I highly approve of your Drow elf, the way you made that dark skin actually look good is awesome. The setting of the shot, and the armor he is wearing really adds to the awesome. Also, young Duncan, still hot.

I'm just done turning Zevran and Alistair into my liking, and I'm rather happy with the results. Zevran was a bit of a challenge, as I've ever only made one male elf, but I'm very happy with how he turned out. Same with Alistair, really. I just wanted him to be more scruffy and with a scar, 'cause I like a bit of stubble on my men.

@LadyAly Well since you mentioned it I use the grid method, or at the very least that was what was my friend used when she and I were making characters in Oblivion years ago. However I don't draw lines on the face, I can just look at something and tell if a facial feature is outside the norms. I guess it's bit like spellcheck for a face, or at least that's the best way to explain how I work.

@AvatarHunter Young Duncan is spot on that is exactly how I imagined he'd look.

@Schratty I think Nelaros is done as well it looks like him, only better. Glad to help!

@Neveri Thank you. It's a nice change from all the 20 year old Wardens I've made, still the Old texture isn't prefect it's better after Petehog removed the forehead mole. I'd really like something without the wrinkles on the nose bridge and cheeks, those make a character much older than I wanted. You're Alistair while very nice isn't very Alistair-y I understand it's just a personal morph but prehaps a little more of the Alistair unique shape slider is in order? Maybe?

@adneate, I know he isn't the most Alistair'ish Alistair, but that's sort of what I like about him. However, if I ever intended to say, make a mod for the public out of my companion npc's, I'd probably give him some more Alistair'ness. I've just never been a huge fan of the vanilla Alistair, up until now I actually used a dark haired, bearded Ser Gilmore morph for him.

On a side note, I completely agree with you on the old texture, I'm having some problems getting my Wynne to look like I want her, seeing as I don't want her to be young looking, but I don't want her to be an old fart either, even though she really is. >.<

@Neveri For my older characters I usually never use the old skin texture, it just comes off as far too harsh looking to me. Instead i actually use uh_hed_dwfa which still gives that older look but not so heavily wrinkled. Hmm like my character Lady Margo that I made recently for instance:

Image IPB

I used uh_hed_fema with a uh_hed_dwfa for my secondary texture and I think she came out with a decently aged look without being a wrinkled prune. The only thing is that I do a lot of blending for individual features instead of using the blend all override which I only use in moderation. Is this more of a look that you were thinking of?

@adneate, neveri and avatarhunter

I was reading your conversation regarding textures. How would you like the original textures customized? I can give it a shot and change them for you. Just let me know specifically what you'd like changed in olda/fema/sica/dwfa..etc. The more specific, the easier it is for me to make the changes..

I'll give it my best shot.

Anyone else is free to add to the list if they wish.

@Petehog Sounds good, I like working with different skin textures and blends so I am sure I can find a few changes I would like to see. I will let you know once I get a solid idea of what I am looking for.

@Petehog I suppose what I was looking for was a lighter version of your uh_hed_ladylandra_0d texture, the ability to add lines to a face without adding as many as the current Olda textures do.
Image IPB
I'd like to keep the lines on the forehead, to the sides of the eyes and the lines coming off the nose going towards the mouth. The big thing that needs to go are the lines on the cheeks.
Image IPB
They really make a character look old, and it's a bit difficult to make a character look older without them jumping from fresh faced to 60 years old. Something a bit more suited to people of middle age, or those who have aged gracefully.

@ adneate: I thought about it.... Try making the current ladylandra texture your base and the younger texture (fema or whatever) your blend. You have more control over the lines that way.

@Schratty Not a bad idea to run the entire blend system in reverse, I gave it a try and it works much better that way. I'd still kill for a blend mouth slider but your idea is pretty smart, using the blend as the base and the base as the blend allows me to at least kill those awful cheek wrinkes.

@ adneate: I'm glad you had some success with that method. I think it's an improvement over forehead wrinkles only ;) And I agree, I would love to have a mouth slider included, and - hell - while we're at it, a chin slider, too :D

@ Neveri: I like the extra scruff and the scar you used on Alistair's design. Zevran looks like he's actually romanceable (arched eyebrows and smirk = WIN). I really do love seeing everyone's unique approach to different NPCs :D

@everyone: Thanks for your impulses on Calista! :) To tell you the truth I've ditched the design altogether, somehow I have the feeling I'm not getting anywhere with her. The problem is also that I can't seem to export characters directly from the toolset anymore, meaning I have to take the extra step over the CC... and the CC seems to jumble my designs somewhat, depending on the settings I use in the toolset. With Calista, it was the eyeshape and eyeshadow - hopelessly screwed -.-

@badboy: She has such a pretty face, I bet she'd look better without any tattoo at all ;)

@AvatarHunter: That young Duncan is awesome!!

@Schratty: I need that Nelaros design!! At last I could play the CE Origin without cringing at my wedding every time^^
