@ Noir201 - She is a pretty design. An Amy dress fan I see? I only dress my chars in them for screenshot purposes. Having them roam around ferelden looking like hookers is just a little too ridiculous even for me! haha
@ VirusCat - Yep your new elf is very much in your style. Nicely done. Is that freckles I see? Aren't they a great mod!
I know our techinques are very different, but I have a lot of respect for your skills. So your praise on Branka I take in very high regard! Especially as you are the resident dwarf master!
Branka's .mor file can be downloaded here:

@ mochen: Your Branka is awsome! Ingame she always looked too... fresh. You have given her that run-down, exhausted look that I always pictured her to have. Honestly, this is the first NPC I would consider changing in my original game
@ eucatastrophe: The lower pic looks better, but I don't know if it's due to the lighting or the angle of her head (or both). Anyway, f I were you I'd thin out either the nose or the mouth a little. The lower part of her face jut seems a little out of proportion because everything is so large compared to the upper part. Just a thought

forlorn: would you mind if I played around with the general idea of your mage? I'm intrigued...
Sure, have at it.

Without going into too much detail, I can see at a glance that some very nice character designs have been posted, quite a few of which caught my eye as I quickly browsed. I love the creativity on display in this thread.

Hey thanks, I'lls ee what I can do. I'm pretty happy with the character but she is a toolset design so I will definbitely go back and thin out and un-widen her lips!
Ah, the joys of the toolset!
Tattercloak: That's quite the transformation! I remember what she looked like in Version 1
Impressive

@VirusCat *cough* I rename you in DwarfCat
@eucatastrophe Good job on this dwarf - not my style though - she has a bit of an asian touch for me.
Bah - i have not much time atm to play Ahab - pretty NaChaya comes first
@mochen THIS Branca is it - It has always disturbed me that she is looking so tough, well and clean... this Brance shows the pain and crazyness she is getting through
@Forlorn Stunning - she is extrremly beautiful and dark in her appearance... you can feel the danger if you look into her face
@Noir - she is cute in a special way-
@Caladhiel WOW - just WOW
her eyes are hopeless and resignated - a true masterpiece I would say. The most realistic Duster I have seen so far. The only thing I would maybe change on her is the eye spacing - narrow it a bit.
@Tattercloak don't get mad at me - but she looks still weird - dunno why, probably its only me
@Mlaii00 GOMEZ ??? you know Gomez ?? *falls from her chair and thinks he/she is a german*

Yep, I will spam the thread with pics later ;D I just try to make a new character-sheet for now to have in my sig. And put them all up in the albums and such.
@mochen
Yeah, freckles!
Branka is seriously in a class of her own. You stunned me with that one and I look forward to reach Orzammar to see her in action!
@Caladhiel
Except the extreme blackness of the tattoo, and the small nose, I love her!
Dwarven (well, would be even more so with a slightly wider nose), rugged, and fits the origin perfectly. I always thought it weird that Rica was considered the one able to catch a noble when her siblings were so cute ;D Your dwarf is pretty, yet not... in some way.
I really have a problem making a rugged dwarf female. I envy you
@Tattercloak
Hmm, I still find her head to be a little on the thin side. Wider head overall would help her I think, but it's your call :3
@LadyAly
Omg, DwarfCat xD
As for myself, other than fixing pics and playing a bit with my char, I changed Dog a bit. Nothing major, I don't even know if you can call it a redesign? But anyway, new eyes and new color for Dog

Edit:
Closeup on his eyes, pic got smaller than I though :3

@VirusCat I may give that a try as well. Probably move the facial shape slider down further and try to flesh out the face a bit more.
Lots of interesting dwarven designs floating around the last few pages. I'll have to keep an eye on them and see how others have dealt with the facial proportions. meathook's human noble design got me thinking about playing with the toolset to try basing a character on a retired hockey player, just for fun. The lack of good 80's-style hockey hair may limit that design a bit though.
@Forlorn That's a great design for your Tevinter-style mage and the tattoos and hair style fit perfectly with that face. Great work.
Not to leave anyone out but I'm short on time so I'll take a closer look at some of these designs later.

@ Tattercloak - Every version of her just gets better
@ LadyAly - Thanks for your kind comment!
@ VirusCat - Love your dog!
Here's another redesign I've been working on tonight, Jowan.

Another shot of him with his 'nobody understands me' look

Your dog retexture is fantasic (are you going to release it for the public?), but you really need to stop sucking up to Mochen so much. That Jowan redesign just makes him look more generic imo. I think she actually took character away from his default face.VirusCat wrote...
Loving the low eyebrows! They make him look so convincing :3 I would perhaps give him brown lipstick to make it look like he... doesn't have any lipstick xD
Great redesign

And I'm not "sucking up", she's made alot of designs I don't like that much, but she still has her own style (just like me, hopefully) and is proud of it. It's a fine trait to have.
I may release Dog, but frankly I just changed his color and eyes :S
...even tho fixing his eyes was a major pain in the butt since I couldn't figure it out at first

@VirusCat Although I've been tempted to use the mod to replace the mabari with a wolf of some type, I have to say that that's a nice look for the dog. I know there are a handful of mods to alter the colour of the dog but I certainly wouldn't mind seeing a few more variations out there. Funny about your lipstick tip to mochen because that's one that I use for quite a few male characters as well (to make it look as though they're not wearing any, as well as the subtle use of eye shadow and blush to alter their complexions slightly, especially if I don't want them to have rosy cheeks).

Is that a good or a bad thing?
@Tattercloak
As soon as I have got some kaddis to try out in game to see how to actually tweak the colors of it and how it looks, I will probably release a Dog mod.
It's going to be 2 separate files, one with eyecolors and one with furcolors. They will be put into folders named "Dog - Blue Eyes" or "Dog - White Fur" that one can put into the override folder.
I will only make solid recolors, since I can't figure out how to make patterns and such. You can mix and match the eyecolors with the furcolors, and also opt to keep his original eyes or fur :3 Real simple
Since I have nothing else to do tomorrow, expect an update on that soon
