Maybe lower her mouth a hair along with the corners just o.1 - teh distance between nose and mouth seems a bit short. See if this the problem solves

Turns out it was a combination of both lighting and mouth position... moved the mouth... moved to another location... and bam! ...all better...

Well now that I actually have some time to comment I see that I am given plenty comment on, not that I am surprised of course.

@Mochen Well in an attempt to break the chain of welcome backs I'm going to say just keep doing you and screw haters. Because whenever you put your own work out there you're always subjecting yourself to criticism of all kinds so just don't let it get to you and honestly to me you never left here, you just stepped out for a moment to clear your head.

@Neveri Iselilja is definitely a fair skinned beauty. She has some very piercing eyes and with that expression of indifference it seems as if she can look right through you. I love your remakes of the companions and Ser Gilmore, it is always nice to have things tailor made to suit your tastes so I can appreciate those types of designs.

@Bronxboy Like the cue ball look on the ladies do you? I will say it takes a certain kind of woman to pull that look off in sucession. I believe it has already been mentioned but I shall co sign to the suggestion of possibly looking into a more toned down color choice for the eyes/tattoo unless of course that is just what looks pleasing to you.

@LadyAly Ahh you made an elder this time I see. Well I don't know just how old she is but the years have definitely been kind to her! Interesting choice in tattoo color too, it sits just fine with her skin tone I think. Sexy looking trio you got there

@Lynn Kaily looks solid in my eyes, don't believe there is much else to pick over now. I approve of the new hairstyle for Shenna, that certainly looks like a better match.

@Nowshin In comparison to your reference the lip makeup looks good but the hair is going to be a bit of a challenge to find a respectable match for. You also have the lovely task of trying to add age to her face while still maintaining that generally clear skin, have at it you.

@Purple Lady Regardless of her hair color I like that you chose a lip color that gels well with her skin tone, I always feel that if you are not going for some solid color to collaborate with the entire look of the design at least pick one that suits the skin tone. Purple hair is also awesome so there is really nothing else to be said in that regard.

@Caladhiel I am sure everyone of us has hit a proverbial drought when it comes to ideas for designs at some point or another so I would say just take it in stride and just wait for the mood to strike you again because it will, it always does lol. Funny how much character a little smirk can add to a character isn't it? Anouk has a lot of spirit and youth in her appearance and I think the fact that she isn't the prettiest character as you stated is the reason why she stands out more.

@Schratty Hey you what is going on with all these synonymous boobie nicknames being thrown about? I could add a couple more to the pile but I don't think you need any aid in that dept. lol. I was actually glad to see a design like Deaglan, I often make a lot of npc espue characters myself inbetween playable characters and it is good to me to just make normal everyday looking characters that could be found during a stroll around any village or town. I know you meant for Leoric's hair to be blonde but it looks sort of cool with that white appearance. I also approve of the skin tone choice with that light hair color, it looks unique to me.

@Saerwen Liza looks to harbor an interesting combination of beauty and brawn. She has a very feminine and well groomed look that is shrouded in the appearance of someone who has spent fair amount of time on the battlefield.

@Zeleen I'm not sure exactly what it is but Shariel strikes me as an Antivan for some reason. She has an elegant look thanks to the nice job on the makeup blending which you appear to be rather good at I might add.

@Ibaru88 Good work on Nadiel, I like the proportions you chose for her features. As for the tattoo I see where your intentions lay for using it but possibly try to just tone down the intensity may look better in case you don't want to take it off entirely.

@Bitterfoam Well you already know what my thoughts are, even still good work on the tweaking for your characters.

@Zeleen: Elvirah and Shariel do share similar makeup, but I think they are pretty individual chars. Elvirah, due to her shifty brows, upward curved eyes and smug smirk looked very manipulating and shrewd, while Shariel seems like a businesslike beauty with a "no-sh*t-sherlock" attitude.

When I was skimming through some of the older pages I noticed that for a time companion remakes was quite a trend for a bit. I do have some of my own versions made to fit my tastes and interpretation of them so I figured since I am inbetween designs as far as my own original characters go that I would post a few of them.

Yay! Now everyone is posting their companion morphs!  I am so awesome for re-starting this insanity with my leliana so many pages ago:ph34r:people hadn't been remaking companions for some time, it's good to embrace the madness again:wub::wub:

@Avatarhunter: I <3 all of your companion morphs except Leliana. Her nose seems odd, and I see you implemented your "perfect impoerfection" theory on the lip and nose distance again, but it doesn't fit there. That's my opinion, of course. Anyway have you released that Wynne? I'd definitely download that.

@Nowshin Actually I did not apply my proportion theory to Leliana it is just simply as I stated before a few times, I have a very different take on proportions and placement than others. As for her nose looking odd to you, well these are designs I made specifically to fit MY tastes so I see nothing wrong there heh. Also these are versions that I have for personal use so they are not released anywhere but if you are interested I can send you the mor file for Wynne.

I had Wynne ready since a while , but my dryads kept me busy. And Wynne needs a lot of work.

@ Caladhiel, nice design on Anouk, she really looks young and full of energy.


@  Schratty, Leorix is really  badass looking. Very impressive. Love his eyes.

@ Saerwen, Liza is beautiful, yet looks dangerous. The scars really bring an "experienced" touch to her face.

@ Bitterfoam. Your young Cousland is very original, though his face texture is really shiny, maybe you could darken a bit his skintone or play with the complexion shader? Just a suggestion.

@ Zleen, Shariel really looks real. I know somoene that looks like her!!

@ Chairon de Celeste. Elaine really looks young and naive, really innocent. Nice design. Aryth's face almost looks asian, she's really nice.

@ Tyrax: I really hate how blotchy darker skin tones look in DA. I wonder if there's a way to blend it to make their faces less blotchy...hmmm...

@ Saerwen: Liza is both fierce and beautiful. I think the scars and the warpaint are very nice touches. I would suggest moving her eyes a little closer together, but that's just me being nit-picky

@ Zeleen: Shariel is quite beautiful. Her eye color and eyeshadow work really well together.

@ Chairon de Celeste: Elaine really is quite youthful and cute

@ Gimme H: Your mage definitely does not look like a nice guy. I really like the wrinkles and the arched eyebrows.

@ Ibaru88: Nadiel is so cute. I love her long lashes and the slight smirk she's got going on. Very nice.

@ AvatarHunter: I think it all started with me talking about people "busting my balls". That naturally led to talk of boobs I think your versions of Wynne and Zevran are superb. You really did a great job capturing the "School Marm" and the "Arrogant Assassin."  

@ LadyAly: I like the general shape of Wynne's features, but they almost look a little too small for her face. I would suggest making them a bit bigger, but other than that, she's marvelous

Forehead, it's the place between her eyebrows and her hair. On the left bottom picture, I think that maybe it's too big and curvy.

Concerning the too small features compared to her face, I don't really see the point of this comment, I wasn't shocked so, I cant help you here and maybe the original poster will help.

Well I was more puzzled about the features - I thought this is the shape of the face, and I know what forehead is. I was startled about the - for me - contradictory comments.

So if features meaning eyes and such it makes more sense for me and I will have a look at

when you look at pictures of the same person taken over a lifespan,
you'll see their nose grow related to the rest of the proportions.
