Ths is not right. My stupid brother keeps hoggin the PC and I can't work on my designs, and now the thread is

overflowing with so many designs that it will take me forever to catch up:crying:

@AvatarHunter: One thing I really love about your designs is the skin blending. I've always found that the skin on on your chars always look very natural and lifelike, and in good lighting sometimes they don't look like video game characters at all, rather they resemble real people. Talyn is a very awesome design, you have preserved the honor of the Furions! His rugged looks and almost glare is actually somewhat sexy ANd angie very mugh fits the part of a smart-mouth, I wish there were a char like that in the story.

@madmaxx007: Your Wynne looks very nice! If she looked like this I'd understand Zev's obsession with her bosom:O AListair, though, not my cup of tea. *is rabid Vanilla Al Lover*

@Mochen: Wow, by the stone!:happy: You really stretched the stone theme to a new level with Morrak; very, very creative!

How did you manage the white stripe thing? I take it you made the stone textured armor yourself?
BTW nice background too, fits the theme of the pic beautifully! (though that is true for all your designs).Did I mention he looks logic-defyingly badass?

@meathook: Very unique and shady looking femme fatale you got there, though it's sad how the body skin color messes up with the face.

@Tyrax: lol Aligan!!!! WHY YOU STOLE MY MUSE Why does she look so sad, though? If she indeed resembles her mother, I'd imagine her to be a smirking bit*hy character.
Maybe I'll go make a Morristair...

@ LadyAly - I've played through DAO several times so I thought it was time for a change. Thank you for the comment.

@ Megalust - Ikara has similiar features as the one in your avatar. If I had to choose between the two, I would pick the one in the avatar. Character with long hair that shows below the shoulder area (especially the front area) bothers me for the fact that the hair is so stiff.  Were you able to correct the animation of the hair? Other than the hair issue, she looks great.  That is one wicked weapon you have there.

@ Zeleen - Zahara has that golden-tan glowing touch with the hair, tattoo and eyes coordnating appearance. A deady and mysterious rogue.

@ Bitterfoam - The only thing I'm not too fond of is the bottom lip. Can you deflate it a tad?

@ Chairon de Celeste - Elouise fits to be a princess/queen, nicely done. 

@ Nowshin - Thank you for the comment. Since Alistair is always kidding around and doesn't take things seriously, I made him look "I'm not a fighter but a lover".

@ madmaxx007 - It's the exact same character. I just made her hair longer for awakening. The hair is from a mod called Beautiful People Hair REN - (http://www.dragonage...file.php?id=750). This is actually the first time I tried using longer hair on a character in Dragon Age. I was skeptical to do so for the reasons you mentioned as well as for the fact that many of the Ren hairstyles obscure too much of the face for my liking. I tried it out because after playing with the same character for a while, even if I love them, I like to change their look up a bit as I go along to show age or progression or what not. I tried out the longer hair and actually this particular style I think works well on her. It basically has the same side part as the shorter style and shows off her tattoo in the same manner.

The staff is from Awakenings and is accessible in the end game part. I don't want to give too much away, but if anyone needs more info feel free to PM me.

So here goes my pirate lady, basking in her in-game glory. I have been headdesking trying to find a good outfit for her.


Underworld armor looks cool, but it was already taken by Callia (see below) and  I was trying to find something white,so.....

NO THANX. In the end I settled with this. :happy:



I pimped the rejected version of pirate lady into a completely different design. Meet Callia Cousland,  the broken princess with a blinding lust for vengeance. She doesn't care about anything other than killing howe, and the whole grey warden business is troublesome to her. The scar on her forehead is a trphy of the siege of Cousland castle.

@Zeleen  Zahara is pretty - a well done dalish elf. The Tattoo and her eyes looking quite good 

@meathook Well - maybe she is a little more pretty - but the other version is still my favorite. A lot of Personality.
Also I think the brown light armor looks better on her - there is a closed version.

Meet Alex Cousland, arrogant, a smooth talker and strong fighter, Shield and Blade his world. After the bloodshet in the Castle he is grown coldhearted - nothing in mind as to kill Howe as soon as possible.

I thought I was looking at Natalie Portman for a second. haha. There is an amazing resemblance in my opinion. :PBut... as much as I like Natalie Portman... I like bad-ass girls better. :devil:Callia Cousland... is awesome. Seriously... the tattoo, the armor, the scar, the hair, the daggers...awesome.
Definitely on of my favorites.

In fact... she kind of reminded me of a character I've always wanted to recreate in the character creator...
Cassie Hack... from the Hack/Slash comic book series... I might give that a try some day.
Until then... I think Callia might rule as queen bad-ass of Ferelden. haha!

@LadyAly: Something about that character reminded me of Doug Hutchison for just a split second... but then it was gone... not sure what that was... but anyway, he's looking very good.
The one thing I will say though, is his nose seems somehow... bumpy... or something? Is it supposed to look like that? But other than that, I'm liking him. The facial hair really does add to his arrogance.

mochen: I already did de-poof the lower Lip a bit, compared to Morrigan, but I didn't think it would be appropriate for her lower Lip to be completely flat. One has to figure that Morrigan's Daughter isn't gonna look like a normal person, with perfectly normal features, just because she has Alistair for a dad. I figured her design would work best with her lower lip Poof between Alistair's & Morrigan's. Was I wrong?

Bitterfoam: Agree that the huge bottom Lips are completely stupid. It's also ridiculous how the Humans can look so chimp-mouthed. He's lookin good regardless, but one of the best uses for the Toolset is to have the power to thin the lower Lip. He's lookin good otherwise, including his Nose giving him character!

Chairon de Celeste: Narrow her jaw, enlarge her Mouth a bit, widen her Nostrils just slightly, & widen her Nose Tip a little. She's on her way to cuteness.

Nowshin: Look at the kinda Mother Morrigan had... One has to figure that Morrigan's not gonna know a damn thing about how to be a good Mother when her own Mother sucked. Alistair's likely to be like Maric in terms of hardly ever having time for his kid. In light of this, what hope does Daughter of Doom have of having a happy childhood?

Holy buggers! Dracomies should be working for BioWare! Though I read his warning, & I haven't yet finished my 1st playthrough. I'm even still on the original Patch Version because i'm completely afraid of touching Patch 1.03, & I haven't had time to seek info on Patch 1.04's effectiveness or lack of.

@LadyAly: Alex is a nice design (always good to see a non-Ali clone handsome male), but his eyes could be made slightly smaller, and his mouth should be lifted a bit (it's the 1st thing I saw when I looked at him). The last pic is sexy.<3<3
I was inspired by your dryad beauties and so here she is, Arashella, the beautiful priestess of the sun temple. Though she is forbidden to all men, she is a cruel tease that captivates men with her allure but indulges no one.

@Tyrax - Well I have the patches and all and with all I have no problems *shrugs*
I think the warning is about to install the NPC'S he made - not the textures. You can decide what you want to install Tyrax - all is in different single folders. So you can use the textures without anything others.

It's called "oracle" look it up on nexus. And I really don't mind the eyes much, it's the mouth that bugs me. And thank you<3

@meathook there is a mod * Facial hairs by WolfheartHU * on Nexus. he made some special bears and such as a tattoo . Its a good way so you can add some stubbles to make it more realistic

Nosir, I cannot. Not in the in-game character creator, anyway. I'm not using the toolset.

Okay, I tried switching the textures around on Durin but to no avail...infact after some tinkering around I've noticed that the scar is faint even if its the only one I use...which is odd...If I do manage to sort him out i'll let you know how I did it.

@megalust: Liking Ikara alot, I think the term i'm after is "badass".

@Zeleen: I think the eye's that you've chosen really top off a good design for me.  I feel it adds an air of mysticism about her, but not so much as to make her look out of place in game.  Like it.

@meathook: Trixie's a design that stands out from the crowd.  I would up darken the skin tone ever so slightly, but in saying that it could well be because I tan nearly every character I design! Also, it could detract from her as she's quite striking as is, just an idea.

@bitterfoam: The nose doesn't bother me so much, I prefer characters that have character.  I generally find that the best way to give them it is to make the slight discrepancies that help them stand out and look more lifelike.  I've never seen an Elf down the pub, so they get away with it in my opinion, but yeah, I think maybe bringing his eyes together ever so slightly and the lips have been mentioned by others so no need to repeat.  You've got a good base there imo, stick with him.

@Chairon: I'd like to see a side on shot of her jaw, as I can't quite make her out in the second shot.  Reading on, Tyrax has made some comments that I would give a try out, but be careful not to go too heavy with it as it you might find that it changes her beyond all recognition, and she's nearly there imo.

@nowshin: Personally, if I was to make a female Rogue to playthough, she'd look something like Callia.  She's the kind of design that got me following this thread in the first place. v.impressed.  

@LadyAly: I wasn't aware of this competition, i'll take part methinks.  I like this guy, he's the kind of guy I would expect to look down his nose at people and he's definately got a determined look about him.  I think you've managed to get his demeanour through really well with this one.  Which armour does he use by the way?
@Nowshin: Wow ...those last two pictures make her look immense.  Excellent.

If i've missed anyone my apologies, look forward to revisiting soon, keep 'em comin'.  I'll post some of my other characters soon...i've made loads over time but never had the Cajones to post them up.

Alrighto - back from my uninstallation of the nvariety modification nightmare and with Elouise v 2.7 in tow
- the old saved game was corrupted.
The installation relics of said mod prevented pretty much everything around DA O from working
by causing ctd on loading ctd for saved games with companions around as well as ctd after
creating a new char on loading the game.

Hence Awakening and standalone dlc / campaings weren't affected, it was a short bug hunt,
but still

Elouise Cousland v 2.7, with vanilla head hf_cps_pre008.mop as base preset, like Elouise 1.0
but a different approach:

I haven't. But I updated to 1.04 immediately after installing, so maybe it never had a chance for any conflictions?

Thx to god that I have a lot of gamesaves to use - without doing the Original. But I was curious - never played a city male elf ... so .. yes it is annoying.

Nonetheless here is Thelassio. He isn't very poor since his father is a merchant and a master tailor.
And I must say I like him - he is a bit cheeky and has some mischief in mind - and he is enjoying the life and some pretty elves  

 

 

 

 

@Bitterfoam Well -- if I chose New Game it crashes immediately >.< that is pretty annoying. It means I can't start any new game - nor Origins or Awakening

Thanks - and she no longer reminds me of a barbie doll

You may want to browse the projects and the Nexus for new versions
of mods wich are currently active on you disk - those with setup and
configuration files & tools cause most of the trouble
