Will comment on new stuff tomorrow, when I've had some sleep. Lots of wonderful things, though!

I realised, I have not made a Dalish elf in.. ages. Which is odd, since I rather like the Dalish. So, I made Kiareth. She loves to lurk around in the forest, hunting. She doesn't really care all that much if she's shooting animals or humans, although she tends to kill of the animals much quicker than the humans. With humans, she's like a cat playing with her prey. No love for the shems from this little elfling.

@ LadyAly: Arlasia is an exquisite design. I love her soft delicate features and the icy color palette used. I think everything meshes together really well to portray this cold thing of beauty. Excellent work.

Lady Hawke - I think your version of Hawke is wonderful. She's very rugged, but still beautiful.

@ AvatarHunter: Chasind Flemeth - I think this is a great alternative to the lore version. She seems more mysterious and mystical. The make-up scheme is stellar as far as I'm concerned

Darma - Is absolutely amazing! The glassy dark eyes that make her look on the verge of tears was a very clever touch. I have to say she's one of my favorites from you. It doesn't hurt that I'm kind of a sucker for stories involving damsels in distress being rescued by heroic knights

Kirsten - I ♥ this morph. Her slightly worried expression and the color scheme used are wonderful. You never cease to impress.

Gordon - Another heroic male! He's got a certain Tom Selleck vibe to him (one of the few dudes who sports the mustache and is sexy ).


@ Zeleen: Elvirah 2.0 is quite beautiful. Her make-up really adds a little zest to her overall design.

@ Starlight: Gelithel Ranks up there with some of my favorite male elf designs. He has a handsome face and I adore the bright color scheme you used on him. Brilliant!

Aaron - Aaron's bloodlust form is absolutely stellar. You did an amazing job with the textures!

@ Nowshin: Ilya - The color scheme used on this design is wonderful. I think you managed to pull off that shade of light blonde wonderfully. And she does look very sweet and kind.

Draco and Cheri - I think you captured the young and innocent look quite well with these two. A very sweet back story as well - nice change of pace from all the doom and gloom

@ Neveri: Margit - I love her facial expression and the texturing on this morph. She is extremely well-made.

Kiareth - Beautiful screen composition (and wonderful use of the Phoenix Armor mod). She is a stellar representation of a Dalish Elf: rugged, beautiful and mystical all at he same time.

@ Tyrax: Heya! I must say, I really like Chase. I think he's probably my favorite of yours.

@ mochen: Mirabelle 2.0 is well done. I like the softer make-up on this design.

@ eucatastrophe: Personally, I prefer eye shape no. 2

@Nowshin, hah, totally noticed the smug look on Arons face, seems he and Moira is getting along ;D He looks pretty neat, though. Handsome.<3
- Draco and Cheri are possibly my favourite designs from you, partly because of the lovely background story you gave them, but they're both really excellent!

@AvatarHunter, I really, really like the background story you've made for Logen, Jillian and Detrick, and they all fit their description so well. They're all outstanding designs with tons of character.
- Kirsten and Gordon, love them! I especially love the entire setting of the shot for Kirsten, and her green armour that goes with her eyes. She's also very pretty. Gordon is looking hot in that mustache, I also really like his facial expression.

@Starlight, the ogres you made are so adorable! Tim and Alex are cute as well, I like the background story for them. The story behind Thorim is also very neat, and he does look cute!


@Tyrax Lightning, Chase is looking good as ever! Your elf looks neat, she's got lovely eyes. Although she looks a tad odd from the side, not sure what it is though.

- Irular and her Qunari boyfriend/bodyguard makes for a rather interesting couple, and I absolutely love your Qunari, he looks awesome!


@mochen, is the Witch Hunt DLC really *that* bad? I've not played it yet, nor do I think I will tbh.
- Mirabelle is so lovely, and the setting of that shot is perfect.
- Suzannah, I really like her, there's something about her eyes that's very, well, eyecathing.
- Ivan has a great facial expression, and the screenshot itself is absolutely awesome.
- Garrin, normally I prefer dwarves to have the lore tattoos, but in this case I'll ignore that part of my brain because he looks so effing awesome with that one.

@LadyAly, I love your Lady Hawke, she's got a strong and beautiful look, and while not normally fan of that hair, I have to admit it does suit her very well. She's lovely, dear.

I decided to re-make my dwarven commoner, Magnhild, in the toolset, to get her exactly as I wanted her. Currently doing my first dwarven playthrough with her ^^. No big changes, but I might as well post her, 'cause yanno, need more dwarves!

As Viruscat had suggested earlier, I lowered the eyes a bit more (-.15) and it looks to me that the eyes in the middle of the head when I removed the hair. It is hard to tell until I removed the hair. You have my thanks.

Tyrax: I was goofing around with the expression on the portrait pic to see how it would look when she was angry. I am leaning towards making this character a CE Warden, so I may use that expression for the portrait.

Eucatastrophe: The armor is the Orlesian Massive Armor set when you start an Orlesian Warrior.

I appreciate everyone's replies: it took me hours to create this design and I am glad my efforts were paid off :happy:

I absolutely love your characters, mochen and think that LadyAly's Arlasia, the Ice Queen is simply amazing.



I was curious if you make your own textures, such the eyes, tattoos, skin, hair and clothes yourselves or if you use textures that someone else made. If it is the latter, could someone please point me to such mods?



Are there tutorials or manuals available that describe how to not only "head morph" but to create new tattoos and textures?



How can you re-skin the body as well?

Ok so a little story..  pretend that instead of walls you see a forest ....  Wyona was introduced on page 204 of this thread. as an abomination that maintained their humanity.

Wyona spent several years serving all the races in Fereldon (many times unobserved)
One day as she was traveling in the wilds she came upon a pack of wolves attacking a lone traveler. She immediately shielded the old woman so the wolves could not harm her further. The wolves were not affected by the blight.. simply terrified of the strange happenings in their woods and attacked out of fear.

She did not kill the wolves but willed them to retreat. She calmed the animals and persuaded them then not to attack those who mean them no harm. The wolves acknowledged her and then went on their way continuing their hunt.
Wyona approached the old woman to see what harmed had been done.. dreading the fear she knew she would see in her eyes. To her great surprise the woman smiled at her.. “Oh my, thank the Maker for sending you to my rescue.”

As Wyona checked her for any wounds the old woman spoke again, “Please, join me in my camp this eve, the least I can do is share my fire and some supper.” Wyona could only manage a nod of her head in acceptance.. it had been so long since she had spoken to another, yet alone been shown any kindness. She fought hard to hold back the tears, as she was touched by the woman’s kindness.

She spent a pleasant evening, chatting with the old woman. Valorie, Wyona learned, was on her way to visit family and had always traveled alone since her husband had passed over. Sleep soon overcame Wyona and she slept in the company of a friend for the first time in many years.

Wyona woke with a start! Wolves were lying next to her, and one was licking her face, a friendly lick. As she looked about there was no sign of the old woman or her wagon. So strange.. she walked to the stream to freshen her face. As she bent down she saw a strange reflection in the water.. she turned but, no one was there.. then she saw her hands.. her hands were soft and her skin was as it was before the day she had been attacked. She looked about in wonder.. then heard a voice.. outside herself, inside herself. It was hard to tell.
“You have shown true valor and mercy, we have watched you these many years.. protecting the innocent, and vanquishing the evil. Your heart is pure, Wyona, and we have redeemed you. The mark on your forehead is our protection.. you can never again be possessed by any spirit. Always remember, you are loved and watched-over.

a new beginning.. certainly not the end..




People no longer run away in fear

Wynne says there are benevolent beings in the fade..  was the old woman one?  Wyona is human again and a very powerful mage..  perhaps as Wynne wondered herself.. abominations can be saved if they maintain their humanity and sanity.

can you see that the "old Wyona was the base of the "new" Wyona with minor/major changes with the sliders and changing a couple of textures?

I'm with Mochen, about the last DLC.  I going to play thru again with one of my Male Characters to see if anything is different.  It would be very sad if it falls below "Darkspawn Chronicles" as the worst add-on content.  Even the Golems DLC had more playable enjoyment.  The Lelianna DLC was a great formula with full voiced characters.  

I also felt slap to the face that I had to rename my dog.  Anyway somebody ask me to show off some of my characters so with no more delays...

oh by the way. The Mara Jade photo you will see I modified the Mord Sith armor to be black. Mara Jade being part of the black hand and stealth missions I figured it would be something close to what she would wear.



I didn't make the armor, I just edited the textures (DDS) files with Photoshop. After multiple layers and hours and hours I made what you see.

I think you need to define what you are striving to depict with your character.. it makes it easier to choose. The one on the left has a more personal feel to it like he’s talking to you.. the one on the right is more intense. Like he’s expecting something from you.

I  feel nickled and dimed again after the latest dlc, like many others  - DG' s writing
pulled it through for me unlike the GoA dlc - but  players who  do'nt like that or GoA's hack & slash
are left with imho little more than two  transitory DA2 creature introduction demos for coin.
(I recommend the bw social dlc release threads for that discussion)

If the economic and the game industry's situation wasn't like it is I'd say
heck - why don't some dev houses wake up and offer jobs to the folks
in the bw social character show off thread
- but as it currently and increasingly is, I wouldn't wish that fate upon you

@Neveri Khiareth is like a precious painting ... I find no words to describe how wonderful the whole design and  picture composition is <3 You made a sucker for harmonic colors and designs happy   
So I'm honored you like my Lady Hawke - since your own is so beautiful.
Magnhild is in the new version  more impressive then before - nice changes on a al ready damn good design.

Since I am a Star Wars fan too I really love your take on  Mara Jade - even if I maybe had chose another hairstyle- just personal taste. And the black Denna armor is incredible good looking.

Finished WH, while I won't say it was a total waste of time I really don't get why we were promised a "closure" when it was anything but that. At least I know the god baby's cute and cuddly rather than archdemon-y.

Anyway I got sick of watching Finn's stupid disproportioned face so I went ninja on him

It's weird how they spent a lot of time on Morrigan's expressions when they spent none on her story<_<
