@Nowshin - I personal like the first Qustis with the blue eyes. Are you planning to release her morph to the public?

@Starlight - You make outstanding dwarvens. Id' tried to create one but failed terribly. I like Karcusthothes the best. He looks insane and deadly.

@LadyAly - Sazu looks very intriguing and a well-designed that fits the characteristic of an assassin.

Ok I have a question, am having major tweak with the toolset, and from what I have read is an unavoidable bug, it is completely distorting one of my morphs when I export it to a mop and load it into the CC screen, even when I am not doing anything like using the nose, or eye settings, cause I have noticed that those seem to set off the biggest distortions.. what do I do to avoid this? Help!

@AvatarHunter Septimus, Vesper and Balor - another triangle with an awesome story. Balor is my favorite of the three - even if vesper looking so fitting to your story, a very dark Character.

@mochen  Thanks dear  - it was always my wish to use that geisha thing - but it was indeed a hard piece of work to make some   reasonably   design out of it. I found  to make an *older* woman out of it fits as best.

I would liek to know exactly what you think is wrong with those 3 "not worthy" ones...
Suzannah is amazing! The determined look with the hair in a mess and everything is just "woah" about her! As for Ivan and Garrin, both are better characters than I'd ever dream to create, but they are indeed inferior to others of your characters. Extremely good still, but not "popping out".

As for myself, I have been pretty quiet since I have been busy with work and with my NPC-mod. But it seems my mod is actually... done O:

I just need a testrun where I try the NPCs out and take screenshots, and the mod will probably be up this week O:

One of my testrun-characters is this lovely lady.

Almira

When Almira was young, her sister Rica got picked up by Berath to be a noble hunter, as we all know. Berath noticed that Almira was even cuter than her sister. He planned to make her a noble hunter too, knowing she could seduce anyone.
However, as soon as Almira understood what Berath was doing, and how Rica had to live, she went and asked a friend to fight her. After explaining why, the friend did so, sparring with Almira with some stolen swords. Almira was a great fighter, but she let her friend cut up a wound in her face on purpose.
She made sure Berath saw the wound at it's worst stage and he yelled at her for "ruining his life... and hers". She didn't care. After showing the wound to Berath, the made sure to treat it well so that it would become a fine, but visible, scar. That would make sure Berath wouldn't choose her to be a noble hunter.

Instead, she was to pick up weapon against anyone Berath wanted killed... and she does so to this day. But she dreams of something far bigger.

...and who knows what the future will provide?

(it was a PAIN to make both the casteless brand and freckles work! No idea how I did it either BWUH)

Wrestled with Quistis's eye color for a while....settled with Mochen's suggestion of using Pete's ice eyes in the end. Tried morri hairstyle on her to make her more instructor-ish, But I miss the long bangs
@Viruscat: I want to make her lips thinner too, but then her mouth keeps being slightly open, which i HATEEEEEEE. And cute dwarf BTW:)



@Avatarhunter: Septimus and Balor both are good designs (balor's french cut=WIN!),  but I am most interested in Vesper, since I've never seen a more....masculine looking female face in this thread before. Everything from her forhead to chin screams ruggedness, not feminine at all which I feel really awed by

@Nowshin Thanks very much, I take that as a very very flattering compliment because you have taken notice of a strong recurring undertone I implement in a lot of my female designs. I personally am seriously intrigued by the anatomy of the faces of androgynous women because I am most attracted to strong and/or cute women and with androgynous women you get this seamless combination of the two. Not to mention their face shapes tend to vary more and instead of the usual heart shape you see oval, full and round, or strong cheekbones and jawlines more which I am also more attracted to so thanks for actually taking note of that fact I appreciate it

As for your Quistis you know I think it is good that you made some of her features the way that you did, it makes her look more personalized and aimed towards your tastes and style instead of trying to get a picture perfect carbon copy of your reference. Leave a little space for your own style to breath in between the reference and your rendition I say, go for a strong resemblance instead of a clone because the level to which how anal you would have to be to get that perfect look is bothersome unless that is what you want then by all means have at you.

@Viruscat It is really great to hear someone say that about my designs considering the goal of my whole approach is to create typically normal or realistic looking characters and somehow manage to give them tons of personality to make up for the lack of embellishing additions and features that you see in more fantasy oriented designs. That makes me feel like I am getting somewhere or least that my approach is working out for me. :)Congrats on your colossal sized project, that is more work than I would ever hope to do and I commend you for it.

I do and always have adored your dwarf designs, it is easy to see that dwarfs appeal to you a lot by the amount of depth you put into their appearance. Almira is a character that validates that comment and applause to you for getting freckles AND the casteless tattoo together, I have no idea how you managed that but it is an awesome idea to have a go at.

@Kenzekillah I for one don't mind your screenshot wall there, you always manage to capture interesting action shots.

@madmaxx007 Very suave looking warrior you have, I noticed you tend to be rather fond of the fresh faced and stoic look. It reminds me a lot of Christian Bale's look in Equilibrium.

I really love mixing up designs by using different ethnic groups so I came up with this idea to make a biracial character. This is Porsha a sweet, fashion conscious, and inquistive young woman with her Antivan father Hamish and Orlesian mother Bethany. Hamish was a soldier who felt he had seen enough of the battlefield and is now a merchant who resides in Orlais using his connections from Antiva to sell imported goods and trade. Bethany is a woman he met shortly after he moved to Orlais and due to them both being like minded business and interest wise they bonded easily.

Ahh, I don't recognize those 2 inspirations... I must not have ever seen the game they're in. I didn't know Guys could have Anime Googly Eyes too, I thought those were only given to gals.

@Schratty, I have to say, I really like Charlie. The story you've made for her is wonderful as well. You've done a great job with the colours, and Ser Barksby, the name made me giggle.

@Zeleen, your lady Hawke Ariel is wonderful. The messy hair suits her well, and you've done a good job making her look strong but feminine, she's lovely.

@Saerwen, Lena is looking lovely in those shots, Ser Gilmore sure seems to like what he sees

@LadyAly, Sazu Ka-Ma-Nea is quite awesome, actually. While not a fan of very gaunt cheeks, I have to agree that they do fit with her background story and all. She's also very pretty, makes me want to dust off my old geisha design.
- SpartaHawke  looks quite good, love the scar combined with that tattoo. Also, the clothes are rather sexy. :3

@Nowshin, awh, thank you for that compliment. I do not have any morphs up on the nexus, nor here. I've been thinking of it, but so far I'm content with sharing what I have if people ask.
- Qustis is really lovely, she looks like the one you tried to make but you've still managed to keep your own personal style to her. I actually like her better with the long hair, but the Morrigan haistyle is nice on her as well.

@Chairon de Celeste, isn't Ghaya a little short for a guard? <.< Wonderful screenshots, though.

@AvatarHunter, you win awesome points for naming one of your characters Septimus, it just happens to be one of my favourite male names. He also looks absolutely awesome, excellent choice of armour as well.
- Vesper looks like a lady I would not want to get on the wrong side of, good job on the dark makeup and her skin, also her crooked nose looks pretty neat.
- Senior Enchanter Balor, he actually looks like a slick smuggler to me, and a bit of a sly little man, I like how he seems to blend in with his surroundings.
- Porsha makes me think of summer, she is very lovely. The tanned skin, rosy cheeks and red lips makes her look very lovely indeed. Also, I have to admit that dress actually suits her quite well without making her look silly.
- Hamish looks like a man who's not yet used to not wearing armour, I really like the expression of his face. Love the setting of the shot too.
- Bethany is very, very pretty. I absolutely love her eyes. Did you intetionally match her eyeshadow with the little green on the robe? She looks wondeful.

@VirusCat, Almira has a very good look of adorable-but-deadly, excellent job on making freckles work with the castless tattoo! Her story is also very good. Oh and, I really like the middle shot of her.

@mochen, Asuka is a wonderful design, I especially love her lips. Good choice of clothes as well.

Allesandra is an assassin and a thief, she grew up with her mother in a ****house. Once she got a bit older her mother attempted to force her into her line of business, but the first 'client' her mother found for her ended up with a dagger someplace not very comfortable for a man. She loves her daggers, there's just something about sinking your blade into someone and feeling their life drain away that's so satisfying.

Belladonna grew up in Orlais, but have never really liked the place all that much. She does however love the amount of things she can steal and fools she can shoot down with her bow. She usually has her arrows dipped in poison, as it makes for such interesting death's at times, nothing quite like sitting on a rooftop watching a man writhing in pain, and then end the night with robbing his home. She didn't get enough hugs as a child, poor thing.

@Mochen - Thank you. I like all of your work that you had released to the public, very creative with outstanding artistic results. The newly created Asuka is another big hit. Your asian creation skill is fantastic!

@LadyAly - Thank you. Dimitri will try to win Leliana's heart back. Alistair is one sneaky guy. I'll have to keep a careful eye on him at all times. You have done amazing work as well. It seems as if it comes easy for you to create such nice characters. As for me, I have to really work super hard and spend so much time at creating one, still it doesn't come close to any of your work.

@Viruscat - Thank you.  Almira fits the story background quite well, nice work. I have not attempted to make any Dwarven female yet. I failed at making a decent Dwarven male but will give it another try.

@Nowshin - Thank you. I will give Alistair another hair cut to see if it will improve his looks. The new version version of Quistis looks amazing. To be honest, I like all versions.

@AvatarHunter - Vesper looks seriously wicked. Balor does have that power hungry look to him.

There are many others whom I didn't get a chance to mention that have done wonderful work. Thank you all for sharing your work.  My girlfriend is upset that I spend too much time with my cars, gym and computer games (computer in general) and not enough time with her. I will be lurking as often as I can to check new art work whenever I can sneak in some free time. Hopefully she will think I'm spending too much time with her and I can go back to my hobbies.

LadyAly: Sazu Ka-Ma-Nea is an interesting concept although not in my taste....that make-up is seldom use in real life. It is mostly used by Geisha or in actors in Japanese Opera.

Nowshin: Although I haven't played FF8 before, I have to say Qustis is beautiful

Draco and Cheri is inspired by Taubasa Chronicles! Wow...I like that manga too, although I still haven't finished. If you like Taubasa. I recommend Card Captor Sakura to you as well. Actually, Tabsusa can be regarded as "Alternative Universe" of Clamp's comics which many different characters in their comics appears in it. Sakura and Syaoran are originally based on Card Captor Sakura. It is really sweet and you may like it.

Almira is well-depicted as a strong-willed female. I especially like the smirk on her face. It gives her much character.

Konmiel
Konmiel is a city guards of Orzammer. He has a sense of duty and doesn't mind to use any methods to maintain the peace of the city, even if many may frown upon those methods. He has a strong view against those casteless. He tries to persuade his superior to massacre the Dust Town in order to purge those "vermins". However, even the dwarves look down upon the casteless, they can no longer leave whatever the casteless bring them. They do all of the dirty and undesire jobs like removing the garbage. The carta smuggles the goods and luxuries for the nobles. The noble hunter provide chance for the nobles to extend their bloodline. His proposal is considered too extreme and has been rejected. Jarvia, having heard of the news, thinks that he may pose a problem to her plan in the future. In order to place a warning to the others of the like-mind, she ordered to have Konmiel assassinated in the most shameful way. This is how Konimel's life ended.


The following two is my idea about Andreste. Andreste is the pominent figure and the center of the belief of Chantry. How does the Chantry describe her? The tribes Andraste belongs was considered as "Barbarian" by Tevinter Emperium at that times, does she being "beautify" along the time?

Base on the idea, I create two morphs. However, I'm not quite satisfy with the outcome, especially the out-fit. (The dresses in DA is, well, outrageous ) I'm open to any suggestion for improvement.

Jin
The concept of "Noble Hunter" is not original in Dwarf community, it does exist within Human community as well. Though it is not as pominent as in Dwarven culture. They use their seduction to capture the attention of nobles and become their consort. They may be peots or muscians who try to gain support for their works, peasants who want to achieve higher status and enjoy the luxuries, figthers or warriors whose endurance are well-known among the nobles or even spies who try to steal important information for other groups or countries.

However, as noble bastard are mostly look down upon and attract unwanted attention from, e.g the legislative mate of the noble. They are not as eager to give birth to a heir as the dwarven counterparts. Some will only target for same-sex noble. Some use means like medicine as contraception.

Jin is one of "Noble Hunter". He originally is a sell-sword who fights for money. It is a risky job which he doesn't plan to work for long. He is not particularlly handsome but his knows how to attract the nobles: his sense of humor, his strong body and a clever mind to keep him out of the harm. Now he is recurited by a Bann, as a matter of fact, to sell-"sword" again. He teaches the Bann the pleasure of "Sword Fight" for every days and nights. Late on, the wife of Bann secretly shows her interested to learn as well. Jin sigh, "Teaching is definitely a busy job."
