Some quick comments and then dinner!

@Starlight:
thank you for the compliment on my "Quinton Hawke"
*on Andreste-Chanty Version- v1 looks softer to me, which I preferred. I don't dislike v2 btw
*I like your story of Wilson and Gaya..  another day in Thedas...  but a lovely story and couple
*Elona and Oriana more well done characters and I like the idea of adding them to the warden's story.

@Saerwen:
Your past version of Aranel was a beauty but the recent version shows off the skills you've honed on the toolset..  I love the colorations you used and although she's scarred and tatooed  she carries it well.

@Tyrax & Meepichi
Thank you!

@dnlewis:
The slight changes made a nice change for you lovely elf

And this is for fun, she seems to be looking at Alistair as if to say "Shem, if you do not avert your eyes, I will turn you into a toad."

dnlewis: Alassiel is perfect now! I can't think of any more to change her. :)

Zeleen: Thank you for your compliments about Thorim and Kohan, Lorren and Athoros! I have great enjoyment when making male eye-candies. :lol:

Well, I mainly create characters and doing retexturing instead of playing games now. I even haven't got one charcter to finish the game. :P

For the Chantry version of Andraste, the idea of tweaking is the Chantry put her in a sacred level which her stories cannot be questioned. Thus make her more out-worldly and distant. That's the reason I make her looks more cold.

Yeah...Dragon Age does create a world full of potential and possibilities. I really enjoy to create ordinary people and warriors to woven into the story of Warden.

Tyrax: Thank you for the compliment on Andraste Chantry version, Thorim and Kohan.

Well, according to the information I have found in wikipedia, the Sacred Band of Thebes are all-men band.

For the naugthy scenes, well, do you mean they are just too gorgeous that it burns your eyes when you look at them directly? :devil: I'm joking. :P

I haven't listened to that FF music, I will listen to it later. Thank you. :)

Yeah, two female characters who kick-ass, I'm thrilled to create them.

Yes, I still suggest to narrow her eyes. I also think the nose and mouth need some push-up as well.

Saerwen: We just have different taste. I respect your idea.

Your latest elf mage looks good! I really like the choice of hairstyles. Is it only me or the other will interpret the last shots as: "Shem, keep staring at my breast, I will have your eyes burnt!" :P

Meepichi: Thank you for your compliments! I'm looking forward for more of your Indian design :lol: Keep up the good work!

badboy64: I look forward to your latest work!

@Tyrax~I think that it is her nose that is throwing of the symetry of her face the most, it is a bit big for her face and is low I think. If you adjust that a bit, it may help, then if you mess with her nose take a look at her mouth again and see if it looks ok as well as the chin. I think her eyes are wide, but they are kind and pretty and If you like them leave them. But this is just my opinion, and an aesthetic thing.

@Zeleen~Thanks!

@Starlight~You totally snuck in there!  Thanks, for the compliment, it means alot to mePosted Image

a while back Meepichi posted a rendering of an American Indian... it inspired me to do one...
My heritage is of the Chinook, specifically the branch from the Tillamook country in Oregon.. this is my interpretation of a young Chinook maiden..
Posted Image

a particular nose.. as well as I could with the toolset and a strong jaw
Posted Image

my tribe isn't particularly "red" we migrated many years ago across the Pacific.. when you could walk it...  Then from what is  now known as Alaska down the coast of North America to Oregon and then through out the Pacific Northwest.

Saerwen - I like your Dalish MagePosted Image... the tatoo is a nice contrast to her light coloring. and cuteness abounds with the pic of her and Ali "making eyes"Posted Image

Yes..  if you were to put a Lakota next to a "Tillamook" Chinook and even put a Chinook from Kalama next to a Chinook from Puyalup..  they would look quite different.  Let alone putting a "Tillamook" Chinook up against any of the 'Plains" indians..   the American Indian is as diverse as any American..

@Tyrax:
the changes must be minute or my eyes are getting old..

@Zeleen: I really like your "Chinook maiden."  She has very strong, unique features and the tucked hairstyle compliments her look perfectly.

@Saerwin: Are those Morrigan's eyes I see?  Before DAO I would've never guessed yellow eyes could be so pretty.

@everyone who commented on my Bryce morph.  Thanks for the input!  I updated the design to soften his brow and un-squint his eyes a bit :D

Haha thanks! I think the chin might be part of the Alistair slider. I have the Alistair shape set to 46 in the Unique shapes tab.

Edit: that + the dwfa_0d skin texture.

@Axekix~Actually they are one of the yellow eyes from Pangel's eyes by a modder on the nexus.  Thanks!  Your morph is looking good as well.  Here is the link if you are interested, the textures are really nice.

Hmmm... if you watch any of the old westerns the Native American Indians looked all the same.  Now I am saying this as a joke, but yet true. Because most of them was white with face paint.  Myself I am part Cherokee.  I recently went to the badlands and Blackhills.  I went out of my way on the trip to see historical sites. For example, Wounded Knee and the area of Custer last stand.  It was all depressing and the Lakota's got bad deal through out.  From gold in the black hills, and basically being in the way for westward expansion for the gold found in the west.  Sorry, kind of topic that gets me stirred up.

Ok..hides.. did not mean to offend, was just making a statement. Sorry if anyone took any type of offense, was not meant to come off as a slight in anyway. Was just stating that where I live, with out being very articulate that the people of my area have a much rounder facial structure, and different skin tone, high cheekbones, etc. Guess I should have stated that.

Oh no... Saerwen... no offense was taken... I was actually agreeing with you that indians have different features.. especially in different parts of the country.. even amongst the "same" tribes..

Well, I am behind on commenting, and I just have been a little busy, so I don't have anything new to share, but since I am running my favorite mage, Tsyn, through GOA right now, I thought I'd at least share some screenies:

I will try and catch up on comments tomorow, but for now, I need some sleep. I will say that there has definitely been some good work, and I haven't seen anything I don't like. Good stuff all!

Heres a custom eye and skin texture I made, inspired by the Garrett Hawke Character in the destiny trailer, I loved how he powered up, so I thought it be cool if I could make a texture of that, this guy is kinda making me dig the blood mage thing again XD. And kinda giving a whole new meaning to it lol. Anyway let me know what you think:devil:

Ugh, I cant look at all these amazing characters without feeling envious of all you PC users.

Its amazing how unique they all can look, especially compared to ME's (But I believe ME doesnt have a toolset?)

Still I'm envious.

na ME doesn't, which makes sense, if they did, they couldn't make much money off their DLCs, still I wish they did, it be cool to make characters of our own in that game, but that game is more of a 360 console game, where Dragon Age to me, was made more for the PC in the first place

Totally, Games like Dragon Age seem so....bare on the consoles. If I could get the PC version I would.

Its possible to make decent to good looking Characters on the console, but they all pale in comparison to these. I've seen some of the most beautiful,horrifying,badass,and ruffest characters in this thread. =]
