@Tyrax Ah - she looks much better now - I still think her nose is too long for her fragile features - but that is maybe personal taste.  

@NoAngel89 You working on textures ? Nice - interesting- maybe not so very glassy ones ? Glassy eyes looking mostly very lifeless - my opinion.


There was an idea since some times in my head - I played before Dragon Age true Roleplay Games. You have to find a background, a story and you have to interact with other players.
 So one of my most loved ones was Lady Alytys Lamar in Illarion. A icecold beauty with black eyes and long bright blond  hair with a hint of red. A fierce warrior - wrapping the most of the big bad guys around her fingers like nothing. They adored her, loved her  - a schemer and cocky. Mostly a cynical smirk on her lips she used all for her advantage - after long years of being hunted by a Prince of Darkness. 
Btw.: this Character had one of the biggest quests in the Game Illarion - I am still proud of it. It was my idea, my storyline and the quest was lasting around 7 months before it was finished.
I used her Avatar and the Picture from her Profile for creating her in Toolset as close as possible.

A very beautiful and realistic rendition, my dear:wub: but she doesn't feel like an "ice-cold" beauty to me...her gaze looks warm but sad:unsure: Especially on the right pic. I think her smirk is too subtle, maybe that's why.

@Nowshin well- I don't wrote the coldness was shown in her eyes ? Did I ? 
In fact she was cold as ice inside - and the big bad guys in Illarion underestimated her often about.
Trying to get the love of this dangerous beauty left behind her path more broken hearts then she killed
 with her blade *lol* She was a freaking legend in the Game - for some she still is.
Black eyes are unreadable - right ? 
But yes the smirk - it was hard to make - let say she lost it in Ostagar finally.
If I lift the corners of her mouth only a tad up it looks just not right to me.

@LadyAly: Maybe you could try the leliana texture? Just by using the shadow around the lips gives a "smirk" vibe somehow. I remember my character Ariadne getting a naughty smirk even without using the lip corner slider when I used it.

Few quick shots
While playing around with the city elf, I decided to change Shianni up little bit. Worked with her jaw, cheeks, eyes, and added the flower tat.

After the "elemental" Sisterhood of the elves.. I decided to do the Seasons with Human mages..
Winter is first with Yule.. a mage speciallizing of course with cold..


after I get her to the Frostback mountains.. there should be better screenies..
I am planning on all the seasons & cross seasons as well..  the next is a cross season..  midway of winter & spring..  a challenging concept..

@Zeleen Thx for the kind comment on my Lady  . But I can' see  the slightest reference towards Morrigan - so this is a strictly no go for me to change the design in this way.

For your Yule - honestly dear - this is not what you capable of.
Don't hit me or be offended - but she looks like a Morrigan with a heavy gleam of silver and the shape is probably far to long, along with other things which not going well together on her.
You know I love your designs but this one isn't mine  *hides*

erm -- she is laying on a bed of leaves -- and the picture is really in original sidewards. You can't turning around the picture- it will mess up the angle and the face isn't then a real one anymore.
 Look at the Original - looks pretty pretty different.

I agree...  I was fasinated by the eyes and wanted a different perspective..  I will say that yours is much much prettier..

this is the other reference to my Char. I was talking about the Morrigan you saw on mine - Now I saw you turned the picture and used it for your creation. Well - as I said it will not show the right shape and features if you turn it. Its painted in another angle.

I didn't see Morrigan in your rendering..  I saw the Morrigan features in the upturned leafbed picture..  There is no Morrigan in the picture with the moon.

Xirbeus: Shianni's adorable! Petehog oughta put his special Bruise on this Shianni, then it might REALLY make people think twice about Elf Hate!

ROFL! Emi looks like she's Arrow Shooting while distracted! I would NOT trust a Companion of mine if I saw them failing to exercise Discipline with a Weapon like that, but that's just me...  With that said, she's still hot!

Sneelonz: I can see the family resemblance, but I agree, Pics are warranted if ya want some proper Anatomy Gauging.

@AvatarHunter~I love the Adaia idea, my Adaia in my head always had a fierce look about her and a dalish tat, but she was beautiful too, love yours. The ban of Lothering is good for a normal guy, but in game didn't that dude, abandon his arling? Maybe look remorseful and sad that he was ordered away, or haughty because he doesn't care. Just my opinion, your designs are always awesome. 

 
@Eudaemonium~ The first set of pics are a bit on the small side, so it is hard for me to make a really good judgement, she looks pretty cool, I like the contrast between the light skin, dark tat, and red hair. I really love the Dalish mage, aren’t they so much fun to play? Like the scar, and her eyes are quite nice, am a sucker for the reflective type eyes on elves. Your CC elf is well done, but the pic is sooo dark, post up one where it is a bit brighter!


@Tyrax~ Of course you can have a feminine woman w/out heart shaped face! Many women have oval shaped etc faces! Thank you for liking her! As far as Valerie goes, I am thinking that if you are happy with her, she is looking good, her nose is better, it was the bump that was killing me, she looks pretty good.

@Mulch00~ Wow, your designs are really great, I checked out your contest album… stiff comptetition. Love your Dalish designs. Lilija looks fierce, would not want to run into her in the forest. Thanks for sharing, keep posting our designs.


@NoAngel89~Your female Hawke is looking quite good, I really like her nose shape, her chin seems a long, and perhaps her eyes could come down a tad. She is really looking like Hawke!

Here is my special unit of elite templars who specialize in apprehending and/or eliminating extremely dangerous maleficar or abominations. Had it not been for the warden and their company exstinguishing the problem at the Circle they were the reinforcements from Denerim who would have dealt with the situation.  They are lead by Knight Commander Crais who at one point was taken prisoner by a notorious blood mage cult who experimented on him leaving his appearance mutilated and his body highly attuned to detecting the presence of magic over large distances due to a chemical reation from the lyrium coursing through his body which can be found in all templars.

@Saerwen Love your Dalish mage, the short haircut really works well on her and the blonde hair/brown eyes combination always harbors its own certain appeal to me. Really awesome work on your Lady Hawke as well, she came out looking very close to the screenshoot.

@Zeleen Nice native american portrayl there, I always like to see different ethnic groups represented and it always helps if you know a bit about the group in general to base your proportions and overall appearance on. Still wrestling with Quinton's appearance I see, well the Hakwe inspired look is working for him. He has a middle-aged, experienced sort of look to me now like someone who is well traveled and mves from place to place.

@Axekix Interesting take on your alternate Bryce, options and variety are always nice and I think you maintained his original appearance remotely to better fit the transition in ethnicity.

@NoAngel89 Awesome work on the Garrett textures, they turned out quite well imo.

@Nowshin Hmm you have justified my choice of calling you the beautician with Belladona for certain, she is carrying quite a high maintenence presentation and appears very well groomed. However taking into account that she is a teenager and orlesian I sort of wouldn't expect too much less in a sense and who says you can't be beautiful and deadly right?

@Mulch00 I like the route you went with her face shape, it is just borad enough to have her facial features sit well and have an overall proportional look.

@Wulfram It does look like you were tusseling a bit with the cheekbones since they protruding some but you have her face a a whole sized up well so that is good. I would say lower the cheekbones perhaps or lower some of the gaunt in her face.

@Mochen Nice attempt at Miranda, she has some really funny proportions to try to recreate since her jawline is wide but really her face in general isn't full so to speak she just has strong and lowered cheekbones. I also commend you for trying this recreation because I know it is a different approach for proportions on a female character than I have usually seen you use.

@LadyAly Well at the expense of sounding like a broken record since everyone has given you this response, stellar job on your Lady Alytys. You really zoned in on the shapes and sizes on her features and ended up with a refined version of her.

@AvatarHunter This three and the story behind is simple awesome. Salem is my favourite one, even if all three are outstanding. She looks strong and determined, but she has a special beauty which really has touched me.

I was today in a creative mood

So I made Vyridja Anar, loosely based on one of my others Characters I played long ago in a Roleplay Game.
Vyridja is a healer, defending the nature and a very kind soul. Some would call her a Druid - others have seen her strength and that she is capable to lead people to do great things just with her little smile and her wonderful voice.
Duncan has seen her and was stunned from her appearance. Her charisma testifies from great warmth and strength - so he recruited her, knowing she will be of great help in the upcoming fights.
