The next character in my "Mages of the Seasons" is Kandle.. representing the transition of winter to spring.. the days can be rather unpredictable during this time.. calm and breezy can suddenly become dark clouds and stormy.. I wanted to represent the underlying storms in her eye make-up with her face being the calm before the storm..  it's also the thawing time and her hair represents the waterfalls that often come this time of year from the snow melting.






Note to LadyAly:  I decided to use the small picture reference for my Summer Mage.. inspired again by you!

Totally off topic, Halo Reach is really quite fun, I actually... (am female ok, so cut me some slack) teared up a couple times, they really did a good job with the story telling, which was surprising, and it is hard to surprise me after coming off of a game like this. And no I don't work for Bungie or Microsoft...damn that would be nice...

@Starlight I thought your back story for Conbell was an eccentric concept to base a character off of and interesting. You did well in capturing that distressed and broken look a brainwashed or lobotomized person would carry.

Lok & Lican
I see you are somewhat fond of the same sex romance themes implemented them in designs here and there. You gave a good amount of material to build a mental picture of Lok and Lican's story, I could easily visualize the events they went through that lead up to them eventually being together.

Noble Hunters
You can really see the anxiety of wondering when will your next meal come and the desperation of someone who is down and out in the eyes of Karen and Venis. I like the clothing that you have in as well, it fits their overall presentation as casteless. Barlok has a smug and michevious gleam in his eye, he seems like he would have his way with noble hunting women without a second thought.

@Eudaemonium I really like the route you went with your Dalish mage. Her face shape and features are some unconventional for a female elf that it makes her stand out a lot, in a good way mind you. I am also fond of the fullness of her face and the sunken in eyes, it gives her an adrogynous look.

@Chairon de Celeste Mythalle looks super cute in those shots, very classy and elegant. That armor choice compliments her well, good stuff.

@Zeleen Hey your four seasons mage are turning pretty good so far and the amount of emphasis you put into Kandle's makeup scheme was very thought out and creative. I was a fan of your sisterhood designs so I look forward to seeing how your next mages of the seasons will pan out.

@Neveri Hey there you I was wondering when you would turn up. Sorry to hear you were sick, that is always a bummer any day of the week. As for your latest work, to the point . . . First and foremost I have to say in all honesty that you completely blew me away with Molly and your remake of Oghren, in my eyes those two designs are just completely flawless and I don't think I can express that enough. I have come to notice that much like VirusCat you are really exceptional when it comes to dwarf designs and I thought I would just make that known. As for your others I find Sten's look very fitting for his age and personality and Alice is wearing the albino look well with the pale skin and hair color, excellent work.

@NoAngel89 I knew where you were coming from with the dim glowing eye texture, I think people just needed a little more attention to detail to catch what you were doing. The eye texture looks good to me and it fits the reference pic.

A few pages back Nowshin suggested that I try making an androgynous female warrior since I had mentioned that I am partial to that particular look so I played around with a few different looks and ended up with my Ridley.

Ridley
 She is the youngest of three siblings of the Montague family. Her family are nobles of low status but are recognized for their loyalty to their allies and the efficiency of their soldiers and family members in battle. Due to this fact, everyone in their family are raised to be dependable and competent fighters and Ridley took great pride in this fact showing much interest in combat training. Growing up with two older brothers tempered her to be something of a tomboy trailing behind them like a lost puppy since her younger years although while her brothers were often playful and sarcastic she was always poised and focused on improving her skills.

Hi all, love this thread I check it all the time. Figured it's about time I posted something here as it's kept me away from my uni work so often

Anyhow, this is Alaiya my human female mage. Before being sent to the tower a battle with demon possession resulted in a number of animal spirits merging onto her own, no one else knows of this though, just of the battle with the demon. This did result in an increase in animalistic behaviour and a few physical changes, most noticeably her eyes, causing a lot of fear (and often cruelty) from others, even mages at the tower. Alaiya quickly learned how to look after herself, and to scare others into leaving her alone.



I was planning on putting up some nice screenshots, but my laptop doesn't seem to want to do screenshots in game<_<
Oh, and any feedback welcome, I'm looking to learn

@NoAngel89 I envy you for your skills to make textures - and it looks pretty good ! I don't like glassy eyes very much - but its close to the original and I see the hard work behind. I mean personal preferences has nothing to do with awesome work *thumbs* :happy: 

@Zeleen Kandle is beautiful - she looks like a very young Wynne for me. The eye make up is chosen well - can't wait for the other two

@AvatarHunter Ridley looks pretty androgyn, indeed. In my eyes she is still a interesting woman, the freckles are cute - and give her make up and she will be change into a stunning lady - like a model *grins*

@sir bobbin Okay - you should make especially her iris smaller - they are too huge and  lower her nose a tad - then look how it goes. Maybe you have to narrow the eyes a touch, too.

Kandle looks like a young version of Wynne. Though I dare say Wynne won't wear sexy out-fit like this.

I like your version of Sten more. He looks more friendly thatn te cannon one.

seem I love to use her as Ser Cathuian (sorry about typo, Loghains right had woman lol) she seems spicy enough to play the hard tough rough woman, which made her original design made her look weak and frale, which doesn't make sense, how can you carry a heavy sword, and be nothing but boney lookin, with no muscle. yeah.... really love this, I hope you can release some of your morphs, I now I love to play, or use them for one of the NPCs

Harwind
Harwind is the witch doctor of the the Chasind. She can communicate with the spirit, borrow the power of spirit and nature to cast spells, and using herbs to cure her clan. However, there are some warrior of the false gods, who called themselves "Templars" keep coming up to harsh them. Some mistake her as the dreaded Witch of the Wilds and attack her without any words. Some, will try to preach them to switch to the Maker. The Chasind believes in spirits only and they won't bow to any false god. Then the Templars will attack them. The scare on her forehead is left by one of the attack. If it is not her guards, she will surely be killed.

Now, Harwind has hardened herself. If those followers of false god come, let them. She will let them know the power of the spirits.


Oswald
Oswald is one of the guards of Harwind. They have sworn he vow to protect the witch doctor. In the lastest attack from those dreaded darkspawns, he sacrify himself for Hardwind to summon the wolf spirit to protect the clan.



Forest Spirit (Inspired by the Nymph idea from LadyAly)

The forest spirits looks like elves but they aren't of the same race. There are many battles occurs in Brecilian Forest. With so many death the veil over there is weaken. The spirits can go through with ease. Some spirits go through the veil and stay inside the forest. They are not eager to possessed any objects. They just like to enjoy the warm of sunlight, the brush of wind, the sound of river. Slowly and slowly, in some mysterious way, they start to gain a form. With wind as the breath, river as the blood and earth and tree as the flash. They wanders into the forest and enjoy the time within it.

Ordinary they stay away from the others. However, when Zathrian put on the curse onto the humans, they are angered as they thinks this acts disrupt the balance of the forest. They help the Lady of Forest to erect the barrier inside the forest and doesn't let the elves to enter.




Arg....my headache is getting worse and I'm unable to write story for the rest of the characters. I will fill them up in the future.

Very awesome characters you posted here today - Kin and Hengew  in my opinion one of the best male's you made yet. 
Also I like the forest spirits you made - very nice - really *thumbies*

After creating my first two Roleplay Characters I broke a rule I did once   NEVER use the Ami Outfit ...
Well - but Daireen Dumont needs it - no doubt.

Many thanks for the Valerie praise! I admit, seeing the difference between the City Elf Light & the Dalish Elf Light makes me see why ya'all were saying the Dalish Light sucks. You were all correct! (Mind ya, I was never disbelieving ya'all, but it was still interesting seeing the difference firsthand.)

AvatarHunter: Ridley's cool! In another Thread talking about Elf Female Companion discussion, I just wrote a story of a possible tougher than nails City Elf Female Warrior Drill Sergeant Companion. Ridley looks like a human equivalent of her!

sir bobbin: Alaiya's a cool concept! I think a wild/feral-looking Tattoo would enhance her further. There was a 'feline' themed Character earlier in this Thread. The Tattoo that Character used might look good on Alaiya. I can't remember the Page, so I hope the person that built that Character can help with this.

Harwind's Jaw needs narrowed. It's too wide to the point of making the Head look Male. Looks good otherwise.

Oswald is awesome!

The Forest Spirits are great! They definitely have a carefree, serene look & feel to them, though it looks like your male Forest Spirit's Neck - Torso connection is bugging or glitching. (Or is that what it looks like when there's no Neclace or such hiding it?) They look like they could sneak into Elven Encampments & temporarily impostor as Elves for mischief as well! I think I like the female more so, but then again, i'm a guy.

The Band of Tartis reminds me of the dunce bandits in Lothering, except they would be smarter & more competent, though maybe still not pro level.

LadyAly: Daireen Dumont's original concept is absolutely beautiful!

It looks like there's 2 inconsistencies with the take version of her, 1: The Original shows a bit of bulb on her Nose Tip, & the take version's Nose Tip is a little narrower, it should be widened just a smidgen to match the original, & 2: If i'm gauging the original correctly, she has a standard issue feminine heart shape Head, with her Jaw narrower than her Cheekbone Width, but the take version has her Jaw wider than her Cheekbone Width, it should be narrowed to make the Jaw less wide then the Cheekbone Width. We'll see how she fares after those 2 changes. The Original Daireen is so hot, I wish I had a Wallpaper of her! Brown Hair & Brown Eyed ladies can have an interesting appeal & beauty to them. I can imagine her being a VERY spunky, fun Character! <3

Here is an Antivan bard I have been working on by the name of Julio. I really like making Antivan based characters and strictly due to Zevran and Isabella's influence I was always under the impression that Antivans were latin/hispanic so I portay them as such.

Julio
A stoic and analytical individual who is always well informed on his surroundings and never loses sight of his goal once his mind is set. The menacing impression he exudes is immediatley negated the moment his treasured guitar  is in his hands, for at that moment the heart of any maiden can be swayed and at his mercy enraptured by his combination of song and storytelling. It is his weapon of choice amongst noble targets.

@Starlight Looks like you have been pretty busy, that is quite a few designs there. Some I would say have some room for improvement but the ones that stood out to me most are Kin and Rulf, those both strike me as the most complete and solid designs of the lot. Actually I think the forest spirits turned out fine as well, the female is certainly one of your better female designs  to me.

@LadyAly Thanks I was aiming for that middle ground that andgroynous females have so that she could transition to feminine from masculine appearances just by simply letting down her hair and applying makeup or what have you so it is good to see that I at least got that perspective across. Daireen is a very pretty reference and so is your depiction of her. However whether it was your intention or not I think you interpreted her look in a more mature and seductive demeanor as opposed to her youthful and innocent look. By doing that though I think it works well as a strong personal interpretation of her and fits her description that you gave more than just attempting to recreate her from the reference shot. 

@NoAngel89 I agree Ridley could very well make for a good Ser Cautherian substitue, I hadn't looked at her in that light. As for releasing some of my personal morphs I have completely no problem with providing request characters but I feel I have quite a few to try to release in one mod if that was an idea.

LadyAly~She is so AMAZING and I realize that caps is yelling, but I love her, esp her jaw and cheek bones, and that her forehead is not overpowering, just wow. If you were to release a morph for download, I think that would be the one... am just wow. And I loved your namesake morph too.

LadyAly: I only now just noticed, but the original Daireen's lower Lip is over-poofy, Morrigan Style. I wouldn't be surprised if there was nothing that can be done about it now. She's still beautiful otherwise! It's a good thing ya didn't replicate the Lip Over-poof on the Take Version.

LadyAly- last two morphs have been awesome recreation from, art to morph. Awesome.



Saerwen -even though I have the new phoenix armor, first time seeing it on human. He really did good job with slim model. As for Lelianna nice fresh look. She looks younger, which she would be really nice for the lelianna DLC. Very nice work,

@Zeleen~I like her, esp your choice of hair and eyes, am a sucker for catchy eyes. She also has great bone structure in her face, could be a noble who oops had magical tendincies! I do have a question though. If they are all different seasons why do they all have blonde hair? Or has my adult ADHD kicked in and I need to retract this statement and go back and notice that they don't.
