Oh my - well - I guess I have hundreds of pictures on my PC - collected over years for RP-Games. I made Signatures and Avatar Pic's for others - so my stock is -- <.< Huge. I don't have any idea from where the pictures coming anymore - some from deviant art others simple from fantasy sides

@Schratty, you know, at least you knew about mods when you made your first character, you should see mine, now that.. is horrid. <.<
But, you gave Megara a very good makeover, she's absolutely stunning now. I can even like that hair, it doesn't make her look like she's attempting to compete in the ''Prettiest Princess'' contest.

@Nowshin, awh, the Ephemera timeline is cute, she's really evolved into a beautiful noble lady.
- Reina is very pretty, she does look like a noble hunter to boot. She's also a very you design, beautiful as always.

@Bloodheimer, your dwarf is quite cute, and that hair really suits her.

@LadyAly, you've done a great job on creting Reisha, the final version of her is so very beatiful, I love red hair and green eyes.

@NoAngel89, excellent work on that elf and tattoo, really.


I was intending to re-create my very first character, but the only thing that's the same is the hairstyle, which amuses me since I don't really like that hairstyle. But in this case, I think it suits her quite well. But besides that she's got nothing in common with my first character, which is just as well as she was... yeah. <.<

Hmm everyone is skipping down memory lane with the shots of their first characters, huh? Well this is my very first character Richard. I don't know if it is obvious or not but I started with the toolset pretty early on and sort of obsessed over him looking similar to Fergus and Bryce.

Over time I did a few minor tweaks here and there and he ended up like this for the most part. Not a huge difference just a bit cleaned up.


Haven't had much free time in a couple days but I will take a look at what's been going on and post some comments when I get a chance.

@Nowshin Lovely work with your portrayal of Winona, the amount of time and work you put into it shows and honestly I like your first attempt with her more and that only the tweaking to the nose was needed but considering the tweaks to her jawline were minimal it did not take away much in my eyes. As an added note very nice job with the work you id on her eyebrows I think recreated them perfectly. Your new Amell is really wearing that hairstyle well also, good choice.

@Zeleen I agree that the tweaks you gave to summer did provide more balance to her proportions. As for Tailte I can see a slight resemblance to Summer in her, regardless if it was intentional I think that was a relevant feature in her appearance since she is representing a transitional period. That way it shows that summer's presence is still around but the seasons are shifting in a different direction now. Nice work displaying that image.


@Neveri Ah another one of your surprisingly grim sadist females, good stuff. I say surprising because you don't give them the obvious "I'm evil and maniacal" appearance but rather you let that play out more in their behavior which I think is a different approach. I find the most unexpected things that are done and said have more depth when they are performed by the most unexpected people for that particular behavior so even though she harbors a hint of hostility she still has the edge of surpirse. Good clean remake of your first character there, my views on that hairstyle are neutral but I do feel that it can work on certain characters and it works well on her imo.

@Schratty Interesting and inspiring to see the progress of your talent over time isn't it? You really dolled up Megara with all that experience and personal flare that you obtained and she very much compliments your talent I think.

@Bloodheimer Your dwarf does indeed have a good look to her especially since you are dealing with only the CC. I have also come to find that for some reason that particular hairstyle only fits female dwarfs well, I'm not sure why but it works and I like it.

@LadyAly Again with the amazing reference shots, I think it would pretty hard to not produce a great character working from pics such as the ones you have been dealing with. All the tweaks you added definitely improved her overall look, very good choice with those changes you have been getting some awesome results from your reference depicting characters.

@Noangel89 Excellent job on attempt at the concept Dalish tattoo you captured the likeness quite well. The native american feel is definitely very strong in your design as well which is how I always viewed Dalish being in a realistic sense.

My wife, referring to my CD collection, of singles and hard to find albums. I think I got about 2,000. But hey when we start collecting something early on in life. Before you know it. its twenty years later and running out of room. Well at least, "LadyAly" you could always get bigger hard drive. Same goes to me. It took me forever to convert music to mp3.

@Petehog Your first redesign package was lifesaver. Even then there was a lot of morphs of morrigan and Leliana. At least you had everything packaged up and few choices for us to pick from (early package). I think your first redesign was day I bought Dragon Age Collectors Edition for the PC. Yes, my wife bought me PS3 version for Christmas. Until I purchased the PC version I player around with the Character creator.

Beyond that, some good designs, and I will get back to commenting on things in the next few days, not that it has been missed, or my thoughts are all that insightful, but hey, what can I say?

Definitely been some good stuff though from what I have seen on my browsing. Don't know if I'll get back around to making new toons myself (a little disenchanted with the whole thing at the moment), but with the way the tat mod has gone, I may do some more of those.

So we come to a winding down of the seasons...

Fall is in the air.. crops are being harvested, the animals are fattening up for winter.. on the first day of fall the day and night are equal and then the nights begin to overtake the day..

Epona..
her hair… the leaves are turning and will soon die.. the winds will scatter the seeds of plants.. hence the black hair with the red highlights and wafting about as if wind blown. Her eyes and lips the hues of autumn we all expect.. the underlying shadow represents that dark is soon overtaking the light and of what is to come..





Now we have that transitional season of Fall/Winter.. this is a remarkable season.. the nights are long the days are short and frost comes... some cultures consider this season quite magical.. the veil between the worlds is considered thin at this time and often people would honor and communicate with their ancestors

her hair represents the darkest of nights.. the white shimmer in her hair and her eyes represent the frost and the cold that comes at this time of year This is the time of death and renewal.. for the seeds scattered by the fall winds are now nestled in the earth awaiting the spring of birth and renewal..the earth tho baren to the eye is full of life waiting.   that which is not now prepared for the winter months will die.



her eyes see beyond what is apparent





so the wheel keeps turning and winter will come..

I'm back at it again.  I never really used Bidelle's textures much, well at least with morphs I created.  I've my favorites with draconies.  Now with this new elf, or like Petehog likes to use elfy.

I really wish we could change the scale.

Like tall and skinny elves, vs short and skinny.

So after the little Morrigan DLC and the story of these mirrors.  I was thinking, what if Ancient Elven clan leader wanting to save his daughter, and have a living person to help preserve their culture and history from the Tervinter Imperium.  So in rash move, he cast spell and utilizing the mirror.  His daughter was placed in magical time capsule for over 1000 years.

So, I've worked on this for four hours, no final touches yet.  Do we really ever finalize stuff
Going from gut, we all don't have LadyAly's huge librairy of folklore art.... : )

Don't have a name for her, either.

Thank you for the kind words.

Many people did like the older versions as it was manual and allowed more customization. I wish I could do it the old way but it's hard to trust people nowadays. There's no way to change the outcome but...the installer method is made in a way where it is obvious when others attempt to steal the work within them...ie. Brumbek, etc.

I haven't posted this publicly until now. But I think people ought to know because these things may happen to you..as we all are face/morph artists. I won't post anything further as it doesn't go with the purpose of this thread...but this is pretty much the reason I haven't been around posting as of late...or even releasing new versions of Dragon Age Redesigned.

Again, sorry for the fact that it doesn't particularly pertain to the thread but this is what happened...so at least people will understand why things are the way they are...

I have new textures/new designs but I am having difficulty releasing them as I don't want him to steal them and slap his teeth upon them.

I was very frustrated at what Brumbek did..but also because the admins of Dragon Age Nexus didn't do anything about it..so it really killed any reason for me to continue working on the mod.

To recap, Brumbek later slightly altered the textures...but the ideas, methods and techniques involved were very much taken...

I most likely will not release a new version of Dragon Age Redesigned. But I will release it privately.

Currently Brumbek is trying to reach out to other face modders to have his teeth mod attached to them..I think he knows that I will never release my designs to work with his teeth..so he's trying to get other face modders to have his teeth attached to them...

Rants aside..I personally didn't apply his mod because I felt Jogg's White teeth or Tmp7704's Neutral Teeth already did a great job.  Also the fact that I have 3 versions of nearly 500+ morphs which are scattered and uncategorized made it difficult for me to agree with the transition. He then asked me to send him all of my .mrh files so that he could do it for me. I naturally declined..

Again, sorry for getting off topic. But this explains things on why things have been the way they are...

@badboy64~ the hair is the third hairstyle from the Don't worry be hairy back, you have to download it seperate and rename all the files.

@Petehog~ Wow, I had read on your mod page what happened, and even commented on it over there, I had no idea the scope of that assha#s theft.  I can totally understand why you don't want to release the rest of the mod, I am saddenend, as I was looking forward to it, but understanding.  I have had ppl over on the nexus at times aggresively ask me for mrh files, and I just tell them no, and offer to change what they would like... but that goes so much beyond.  I can't believe the Nexus did nothing.

Yeah, Somewhere or somehow I missed few things that happened on Nexus, and I usually check in once day.

The thing that happened to you. What I saw of his work, or I should say, work that is his is not bad.  But like you said, there is other work out there that works with your mod just fine.  So I have never installed it, and don't feel like overhauling everything to do so. 

But morally made wrong choice.  Disrespecting someone's wishes is not cool.  I have modified. DDS white mord sith armor, (Yes I play around with Photoshop CS5), even thought the author has never responded to my emails, it will never get posted unless I get permission or I let the author post them for me.  Pete, don't loose hope, I know there is bunch of us right here are trust worthy and appreciate all the work you have done.

Say Pete, Emi Morph that I did while back ago.  It put it on nexus, oh maybe two weeks now.  Somebody emailed via nexus. Told me they changed the morph name to lelianna morphs name.   Then was asking me if its alright to repost the file on nexus.

That blew my mind.  I was lost for words, and I was like, SO!  Anybody could change name!  But the fact is the core file is still my work and your not doing anyone favor.  I told him also, "that at least you emailed me, but besides that, It strengthens peoples belief that its not safe to share." 

In the end, I really don't want to lose faith in anyone,but at times its hard.
