Thanks, I appreciate it and admire your work. I admit I've lurked this section of the forum for awhile and have been really impressed by what I saw here. 

As for my Loghain I wanted to keep him somewhat like the original but only "enhanced" to my vision of a hardened and powerful warrior and military leader.

Just FYI, already working up some ideas and looking around for inspiration for some new tats. I have been browsing a few sites, and seen some pretty darn good designs I wouldn't mind trying my hand at (just need to see if the original designers are cool with it). Maybe we'll try and get something up and running over my next 5 days off.

@ LadyAly: You definitely took the main parts of Reisha's inspiration photo and incorporated them wonderfully into her design. She resembles the picture while still possessing unique character of her own.

@ Neveri: I doubt your original character is that bad Narena is a very natural-looking elf. I really like the muted make-up, and you even made that hairstyle work (yeah, I'm not a big fan of it either ).

@ Zeleen: Epona's hairstyle and color scheme kind of makes me think of a wild horse (also, Epona is the name of Link's horse in the Ocarina of Time, so there's that too ). And Sowen is a gothic beauty, I really like the dark make-up. Your descriptions of the seasons are also a pleasure to read. Very inspired!

@ Xirbeus: I must say, I really dig the bright golden tattoo on your namless elf. Vibrant colors on pre-oppression elves seems very fitting.

@ NoAngel: Thera Aeducan is a wonderful mix of cute and fierce. She almost reminds me of a lion cub in that respect.

@ Vertrix: Your HMN is quite nice. I think he would probably benefit from blending two different skin textures, but that's just my personal opinion

@ mslc 123: Your version of Loghain is quite fierce. I especially like his square jaw: very nice!

@ Nowshin: A cool line of revamps. I have to say, though, Young Ithun is. simply. amazing. And your take on the confessor robe is also quite pretty. I totally dig the red!

@ Vertrix: I like to think male characters, in particular, look more dynamic with a texture blend (the qunari and dwarf skins are pretty cool for more rugged-looking males). Once again, it's just a matter of preference

Here is another look at loghain, he doesn't look as irritated in this picture, as cailen isn't around.


Also a picture of my current elven mage, this is a proto-type though and is most likely going to see some revision, constructive criticism on both is welcome!



The lighting for that picture isn't the greatest, I'll try to get a better shot. Also her eye make-up is actually light green and subtle, but hard to see in that image. Her eye's themselves are from Pangel package, the lovely "gem" color.

@Schratty: yeah, but an additional blender makes the character look older (or at least, it's my impression)


Mmh, on second thought....you are right I will try adding a blender and removing the scar (it looks very bad with another blender) and adding some little updates

A more realistic design

@ Ladyaly Thanks for the compliment! I've been following your work as well, and it's always excellent. I just started doing this actually, and I'm seeing myself becoming addicted to reworking NPC's throughout the game. I have several on my list that the default morphs just really bother me.



I do have a question also to everyone in general, I'm pretty new to this, and I noticed that my morphs for NPC's aren't showing up for the "movies" or the non-interactive scenes throughout the game, is there anyway to make my morphs show there as well? Thanks in advance!

That Confessor Robe Color looks good, but I wonder if a brighter Red would be better yet.

mslc123: Your Loghain Rendition is buff! He looks more hyped up on evil & dark side force than ever before!

Your Mage looks like she could use some Nostril widening, & maybe a smidgen Nose Tip widening. That's about it.

LadyAly: The Lady Sylvia Portrait Pic looks as if she's suffering from poison &/or evil Drug effects... The DA Lady Sylvia is totally beautiful! I bet she has irresistible Charisma!

I can't get it to work at all. I renamed all of the required files but the hair is invisible in toolset when I put it on her. Any suggestions? There are 4 files that I renamed. Never mind i some how got it working.

I want to thank you for posting the model you used for your lovely Reisha -she inspired me to make a Dalish elf with similar coloring… I had never before made a Dalish with light skin.. I wasn’t trying to render her.. (not that much talent).. but I am happy about the coloring combo..

I love your take on Sylvia D’Arronge.. she is just lovely.. I thought the chin could use a little drop.. but on second glance I think it's just right..  eyes.. getting old

a unique dwarven design .. the blood smear would seem to certainly fit a berserker..
and a unique elven design as well. If you are going for a particular look with a morph it’s only natural that you would think your design imitates someone else’s… however.. that’s not so.. there may be similarities but never carbon copies.. your individuality will always show through
