Thanks Aly! Yes she did have the Clala armour before, but since I reinstalled my game a while ago, I've lost the mod

@mochen, your Angel is so pretty, it's a shame there's no mods around to give her wings. She looks absolutely wonderful. <3
I've been wanting to use this hair for a while now, it's just never fitted any character I've had in mind, it's to doll like for my taste. Which is kind of my inspiration for this design, a porcelain doll. Not much more to say, really. She came out pretty much as I wanted her to.

One more, I like how this one turned out.
Saerwen: I like this morph a lot! Good job!
I have another thing I wanted to mention. In some part of why I been hanging out at this forum. Some people on nexus have been annoying me. I have some of my morphs over there. People are sending me links, to their chargenmorph file and want me to edit it for them.
Or rewrite the installation instructions for every little step. I am talking about every mod that is needed to get the morph to work. Giving them links to the these mods are not enough. They want me to hold thier hand, and hey I am actually a very helpful person but come on. Its real simple, you want character to look like this, you need to install this, and this and this. plain and simple. Not changing the morph with standard textures because its easy for them. Messing with my canvas, sort of.
Just venting, and drinking very nice british ale.
Besides that, Saerwen, you have did some very good work lately. Branching out and editing the dds files for armor, and been rolling out the morphs.
LadyAly usually gives us morph regular basis. Not to mention some fabulous artwork.
Sorry I haven't did much, does it count that I painted "Winnie the Pooh and Tiger" in the nursery. Doing a bunch of finishing touches.

Hey I totally feel you. And I agree with Saerwen.
When you try to accommodate everyone, you will drive yourself crazy. Just go with what makes you feel comfortable.
There's a LOT of people who don't read directions...
Generally, if I find the same problem keeps coming up..then I look at what I've written or how my mod is made..to address the issue.
But if it's a case where it looks like the person neglected to read the Readme/Directions/FAQ, etc..then I kindly mention that it's in the Description/FAQ, etc. In terms of chargenmorph.xml files, I don't include them or talk about them because it's a huge hassle.

Petehog: Your Heroes & Villains Theme is win!
mochen: Ella's cute! She looks like the cynical pessimist type!
Angel's beautiful! In her 1st Pic, it looks as if someone managed to push her buttons. In her 2nd Pic, she looks like she's posing to get Painted in a Portrait for posterity!
Neveri: Buggers on BioWare! That Sigrun's better!
Eira has an eerie, cold beauty to her...
marquiseondore: She's a cutie! Though it looks like the Pig Tails are clipping into the Ears...
Adrakkhen: Is Cassie a kiddo, or an adult? I can't tell from the Pic...
Chairon de Celeste: I think it would benefit her to narrow both her Nostrils & Eye Spacing a bit. She's superb otherwise!
Xirbeus: My condolences, it sounds like ya got a case of the attack of the Computer Illiterate! If they can't handle the instructions from your Mod, then they need to grow their Computer Force Powers before attempting to use your Mod. & I agree with Petehog, if they can't bother to READ the Instructions, then they can't want the Mod that much. Gotta love the lazy bums of the world that want everything done for them... they need to learn how to do their own stuff. I'm lazy & I can get out of my Computer Chair & get my own snacks easy! (Oops, maybe that's not such a good example... I actually dedicate an entire Drawer of my Computer Desk to Snackage!

I wouldn't be surprised. There's bound to be no shortage of kiddos that wanna be adults >>>RIGHT NOW!!!<<< & seek adult stuff, like M Rated Games, that they're WAY too immature for. I'm an adult myself, & i'm still only semi-mature!Petehog wrote...

There's a LOT of people who don't read directions...
If it's evident that the person is not reading your directions/FAQ/Description/Readme...then you may want to reconsider whether this person is the best use of your time..
Granted, if the problem is understandable or "recurring"...then it may be something that you can adjust to avoid the problem and issue from coming up.
But I generally try to be helpful..but only when I feel there is a genuine problem that wasn't illustrated in what I have written. I think I always make an assumption that people who own a copy of Dragon Age: Origins are people who should be 17 years and older...but I've come to learn..based on the comments I have read..that this most definitely is not the case..

I can relate to both of these things.
Although I've never uploaded anything on the nexus myself, I am very reluctant to do so. I have heard many complaints about the attitude of people on that site. There are even a few undesirables here, but they seem to be few and far between.
I've been on the wrong end of some flack about my morphs before, I seriously don't know what people expect? I mean, the mods are free! They should be grateful. Perhaps if we all went around charging money for our mods there might be a certain obligation to provide support. But if the instructions are written clearly then I can't see why anyone would not be willing to do a tiny bit of extra work themselves to get a mod to work.
What ale was it btw?

I personally like Dragon Age Nexus. However, it takes a lot of getting used to. There's a lot of cool people but there's some guys who can ruin your day...or even kill your motivation for modding outright. I feel it's because the crowd is much, much larger...and the way mods are rated are very different from projects in Bioware Social Network. But one great thing about Dragon Age Nexus is that you will have a lot of feedback, whereas on the comments section on Bioware Social Network..the comments are not as large....
However, I will say that I personally am not a fan of the whole notion of "negative endorsements". I think it's a double-edged sword. It's nice to separate the wheat from the chaff but it can actually discourage people who otherwise would share their work..but are not confident in thier abilities. There's a lot of people who are awesome and have some crazy skills but are just not confident in releasing thier work because it's scary the first time through...
That being said I rarely negative endorse somebody. I only do it if I felt I have been lied to..but I never negative endorse based on the quality of the mod itself....
Some people can be discouraging..but it doesn't make sense. I mean, if someone makes me a cake for free.... I'll let them know if it's a good cake. But if it's a bad cake, I don't yell at them about it. I just smile and remember not to get cake from that guy. Bad analogy..but I think you know what I'm saying.
If I can simplify modding, I'd say there are three types..and here's an analogy...
The first is a baker who makes a cake. And he likes to share his recipe with the rest of the world and he's fine that everyone can do what he does.
The second guy is a person who makes a cake for you everyday. Everyday it's on the table and it's free...but he'll never share the recipe with you.
The third situation is a person who makes a cake. But it seems like he's making the cake for himself or for an event or something...basically you don't get a chance to eat the cake.
I'd probably classify myself as the second guy..but now shifted towards the third guy.. (based on some crap that went down)..
Ok, enough talk..ha ha..
Here's 2 more elf designs. Both elf designs have already been shown a long time ago..although in different angles..
I wanted to show a contrast in personalities.
One is more naïve, innocent and playful.
The other a bit more jaded, cold and experienced.
The second elf is actually a modified version of Velanna Version N and the first design is my current PC.

I can only agree to your writings above. Nexus and the Projects are a dangerous place - I could see this now several times.
So I am clearly and probably for ever the person Nr. 3 who isn't willing to share to public.
I mean if I get asked I do this - and have done it several times. But I wont put my files on Nexus or Project side.
Why should I do a thing that to 75 % causes in stress, frustration and hurtings ??

I'll say this, in my line of work, you learn never to underestimate the naivete or lack of basic understanding or lack of ability to read and follow simple directions of people in general. Being a paramedic, I get to see and hear things that you would swear would only come from the mouth of a child, but you are in fact staring at an adult face when you hear/see these things.
I would like to agree with you, but honestly, even if the game were only in the hands of adults, I promise you without any doubt, the situation would remain the same. And maybe that came out as a bit harsh, but it is reality as I see it.
Personally, I blame MTV and Reality TV
Ok, not really, but really, I hate MTV and Reality TV...

Saerwen: I absolutly love your elf and your humans, they are beautiful (I like especially the dark-haired human woman with the bird tattoo). The tattoos and eyecolours fit those characters very well. Amazing.
Petehog: Heroes and Villains is a cool idea. the villain look really evil. Also, your elves are great. The first one really looks young and innocent. The second elf looks definitely colder but to be honest I think she is to beautiful to look really hardend by life or regular fighting.
Mochen: Ella and Angle are lovely. Angle really is an ice queen.
Neveri: I like your Sigrun. If I may ask, do you plan on releasing this design? Eira is stunning, she looks so sad and fragile.
Adrakkhen: Cassie is cute. The big ears only make her cuter.
Starlight: Wow you've been really busy, so many morphs. I like Gon he looks like a very nice guy.
I had to try LOTC's eye textures: Suleika.

I like the nexus, although I agree with Pete that the negative endorsements can be a double edged sword. If you were lied to, and the mod didn't do what it said it would, then hey, sure, drop a negative endorsement. But just because the mod doesn't suit your tastes and sensibilities? That doesn't make sense.
For example, you take two different men, from two different walks of life, and feed them each a big plate of Mediterranean style food. Man one loves it, says it is the best food ever. Man two says it is the worst thing he has ever tasted, because he only likes such and such style food, and will tell everyone he meets not to eat Mediterranean style food. Now, neither is right or wrong in their like or dislike of the food, because it is all really and truly a matter of personal taste. But if man two can negatively affect the sale of the food just because it doesn't fit his personal tastes, well, I think you get the picture.
That being said, you just kind of have to take it with a grain salt when you read or see negative comments. There are some truly helpful criticisms I have seen, and there are some truly thoughtless comments as well. The good thing about the nexus is that it does reach a wider audience than what you tend to get here on the social. Like I said though, if you are going to release on the nexus, don't take things personally.
