@mulch00 Suleika is very enchanting *big thumbs*

@Wyldsong Tsyndria is a pretty thing - and the small tattoos overall are very nice. the only thing I would change is probably the color of the tattoo's in a soft blueish. So it would be a harmony between the moonstone on her forehead and the tattoo - but that is personal taste

@Nowshin NOW - WOOTIE - you get a new title from me *Texture-Queenie* :happy:
Absolute exquisite - and I like all of them ( beside the one with the fleshy arms)
A robe - dyable - is what I need *rofl* NEED IT !!

@mochen I can't believe you made Pandora new ?!:blink:I mean she was always one of my favourites -but I have to admit - she looks lovely and charming in Toolset :wizard:
As for NIKITA - absolutely outstanding design - a killer Lady - and the armor is so fitting.

@Meepichi It is nice work - but not my cup of tea - I'm sorry. But I want to be honest

@Petehog AHA !! Now the second screenshot she looks perfectly cold and dangereous :devil: a kickass elfie.
Both are awesome stuff !

@Saerwen Nice revamping  - I see all of you re-model older designs :blink: Seems the new trend *lol*

@Zeleen Thx hun :) and yes you praised Sapphire before.
For your revamping of old Characters - they are all pretty damn good - beside the heavy green Eye Make Up on Zahara - for me clearly  to heavy. Beside that especially your dwarfy is stunning.

mumbles again *I NEED THIS ROBE NOWSHIN* and hides in the shadows to sneeze and cough ;) Wont share the germs :P

I don't have the time to respond to everyone I've missed but I'll try to do the last couple pages at least.

@LadyAly - Thanks for the comment and no problem. I remember you said the original wasn't your taste either. Something to do with the eyes.  My tastes tend to run to the more exotic, and not necessarily super realistic.

@Mochen - Nice work as usual. I like your revamp of Angel, she's pretty.  I like Pandoras eyes.. gives her a unique look.  I really like what I see with Nikita, and nice clothing too.  Is that available somewhere?

@Neveri - nice work with Eira. She does have a bit of a porcelain doll look to her.

@Starlight - nice work and lots of it as usual Starlight. Gon especially stood out for me.  His face just has so much character to it. I think he'd make a great companion type.

@Petehog - Nice work! I think you succeeded in making the kind of elves you were going for, especially for elf 1.  I immediately got the innocent feel when looking at her.

@Wyldsong - I'm enjoying your tats!  Also I like the look of Tsyndira.  She has a interesting look that kind of grabs your attention.

@Nowshin - I'm loving your updated version of the nobel clothing. Very pretty.

@Saerwin - your new version of Kallian is much improved. Nice work!

@Zeleen - I really like your Garret, very manly, but something about Quinton doesn't work for me. Syris reminds me a bit of my Bender character. Nice job! Nice work with your others as well. Yeah Lynn's mouth is a bit narrow, but that was by design. Thanks for the comment and constructive criticsm, it's much appreciated!

I was inspired last night after watching Iron Man 2 to make a hot red head, and here are the results. I'm pretty happy with how she came out.

I mostly have just been tinkering with my default appearance characters for all the origins whenever I get some time and finished up my female mage for the human mage origin, Solona Amell.

@Mochen Your latest posts have been some pretty intriguing designs I must say and I can certainly appreciate the variety. I like the revamps you did to some of your older characters, it puts me in the mind of taking an old classic movie and then digitally remastering it(Hah I am a film major so just humor me on that analogy).

@Neveri I think I mentioned this before with regard to one of my characters but I have a real love/hate relationship with lore and I think for the sake of being creative you have to bend the rules sometimes and go outside of lore so with that being said I favor your Sigrun remake. You gave her a much needed aestetic boost and it looks like you gave her a more youthful look as well. I can see the porcelain doll presentation well in Eira's look, she also gives off a life sized marionette appearance to me a little.

@Saerwen You have been super busy as of late, wow lol. One thing I think that has been standing out in all of your latest character designs is consistency in quality. A lot of the time when you produce designs in mass quantities the quality can tend to wane I think but you managed to pay just as much attention to one design as the next and that is a creditable behavior to have to me.

@Starlight I see your endurance is still pretty solid considering the number of characters you are still conjuring up and I can see some fine tuning going on between your previous characters in comparison to your older ones. I thin I will side with the majority of the crowd and say I am drawn to Gon the most. He has such a hardy and humble look to him, very genuine.

@Petehog I dig both versions of your elf lass there but I definitely prefer the second elf in terms of going for a more stern and cold presentation, the texturing and hair color compliment that type of personality also I think.

@mulch00 Really nice job with Suleika, her proportions are just right and that skin tone meshes well with the blonde hair. I also like the composition of the picture, the leaves make for a relevant back drop in consideration to all of the colors in the shot.

@Wyldsong Something that I like about your designs is the very stylized look they have that is very signature to your tastes. You can find a lot of your characters donning tattoos and very trippy eye textures and you can tell that is a look that favors your interests and your display it and a presentable manner. Specifically for Tsyn though I like the way that eye texture look with that particular eye shape, makes for a good combination.

@Nowshin Nice to see you really going to town with those textures. Looks like you are really gaining a firm hold on it now and you are producing some very promising results, well done.  :)

@Zeleen Ah cleaning out your closet so to speak eh with all the revamps? Looks like quite a few people here and there are doing that now. At any rate your characters are looking nice and cleaned up, good going with that.

@Meepichi Nice solid design there, redheads always give off a firey or lusty look without trying it seems.

Meepichi: Velanna's mouth should be lowered a bit more to balance it's position better, & the Nose looks a bit too small on her & could use a bit more size, but not too much, perhaps not more than .20. That's all I can see with just that one angle available. :)

Vera's gorgeous! Objective met! :wub:

Petehog: #1's still not quite doing it for me as a 'cold' person, but #2 is! That Hair on #2 looks both dark & icy & seems to fit her better! I think #2 can be considered a complete build! :happy:

Saerwen: Many thanks for the info! I'm still pondering on the 2 Mods, but I was gonna do the Phoenix Armory 1st. I can only do so many Mods at a time with my limited time. I'm concerned about the Winter Forge problem with it buggering up some of the Phoenix Armor stuff, like the Set Bonus, but I still ponder on getting it to use on other stuff. I fear that I may never have what it takes to build my own clothes, armor, or weapons... I still can't seem to master even Morphs... :crying: (Damn my time constraints!)

I think Kallian needs to raise her Jaw a bit, de-poof the Lips a bit, & after the Jaw is raised, reposition the Mouth to compensate about in the middle of the Mouth area. Optionally, perhaps move the Mouth back a tad. Then we can see how she fares from there. :)

mochen: Nikita is win! :D

Zeleen: I hope your right about Amelie... but many thanks for the support! I have her next Anatomy Revision done, but i'm awaiting assistance on the Hair Issue. (I hope it's Author is still active... :?)

Quinton... we meet again! He's lookin the dashing ladies man as always! :D

Garret looks skilled & professional! I bet he could be a Carta/Guild Leader! B)

Syris looks serious! :P I could imagine him being a disciple of Duncan! :D

Zahara is hot! She better be careful though... with her 'green glow' Eyes, Templars could mistake her for a Keeper or Keeper's Apprentice & try to blitz her! (Templars being the dumbbutts they are, would probably be too thick skulled to realize that keepers are Mages & Mages don't learn Stealth. I'm sure the Eyes alone would justify their Zealot Rage... :P)

Mayan's hot! She looks like a hot skilled adventurer! :wub: (Like X-Blades's Ayumi! But Dwarven! :D) How the buggers did ya get her Eyes like that! They look the proper Football Shape! That's the kinda Eyes i'm trying to do on Amelie, but it seems to be completely impossible! :(

Nowshin: Your Robe looks done! It's release ready! :o Ferelden's Female Mages beg you to save them from fashion disaster! (Hmm... I wonder how Salona would look in that Robe...? Though Massive Armor ftw for her actual butt-kicking of course! :D)

AvatarHunter: Solona looks good! (I can dig the tomboy look! :D)

After I made Eria, I wanted to make something darker and well, warmer. So I came up with Salicaria, a rather arrogant I'm-better-than-you type who absolutely loves magic. She also rather loves to dress somewhat scandalous, she finds people reactions to it rather amusing.
I seem to have a thing for arrogant, somewhat cruel and skanky clad ladies these days, oh well. :P

:o Good stuff.  I approve.

@Zeleen - Thanks for writing my name several times in a post=) Hopefully everyone will find the new pack a win!Tsyndria's robe is from here:  http://www.dragonage...file.php?id=861
As for your revamps, I dig them all, but Garret is the one that caught my eye the most.  Very roguish and tough looking.

@Nowshin - The new color is pure win on the robe.  I still want the green tinted version=P

@LadyAly, JohnDoe, Meepichi, Avatar - Thanks for the Tsyndria compliments all.  It took some time, but I think it all worked out for the best to go back and just modify the original rather than start from scratch.  I'm glad it seems to have worked! She was always my most downloaded of toons released in her previous renditions (older renditions are in the Band of Miscreants morph set), although, I don't know if I'll end up releasing this rendition of her.  I might have to be selfish on this one...

@Meepichi - Hot redhead indeed.  I approve=)

@Avatar - Seems like you got a noble and good hearted look for your character.  Not sure if that is what you were aiming for, but I like it!

Neveri: Salicaria's a beauty! :happy: Though her Shoulders & Arms look impressively big & buff! Does she work out, is something odd going on here, is Perception screwing around on me again, or is my Anatomy Skill screwing up again? :blink:

Wyldsong: I've gotten an interesting idea today... I wonder, can ya make Tattoos that are used in the Toolset that use those 4 Channels? If so, it occurs to me that it might be interesting to make a Tattoo that's incomplete unless ya use all 4 Channels, then it makes a complete Tattoo Image. This may sound daft & loony, but I have reason for this... I think such a Tattoo could be really awesome if combined with Tattoo Colors. With the Tattoo Image separated into 4 Channels, ya could color the parts separately, thus gaining the option of multi-colored Tattoos! Example, a Dragon Head divided into 4 parts, the Head, the Horns, the Eyes, & the Pupil. Ya could color it all sorts of ways under this idea by the simple coloring each Channel different, for example, Black on the Head Channel, White on the Horn Channel, Red on the Eye Channel, & Black on the Pupil Channel! It's already in the Tattoos we've got, but I think it could go farther this way! Normal Tattoos try to give you 4 Tattoos ya can have combined or standing alone, & that's ok, but with this new idea, we could have very colorful, detailed single Tattoo Images too! :wizard:

mulch00: Khalida looks Femme Fatale! :devil:

Many thanks to Saerwen's awesome aid with this Mod Hair! :o

Raised her Jaw, widened her Jaw a bit, tried new Eyes, (I still can't find any possible way at all to make the 'Football Shape' Eyes... :() & got the new Mod Hair. It was horrifyingly aggravating getting the Don't worry Be hairy Mod working, but Saerwen was my Savior! I like this 3rd Hair, & might be using it plenty, even though it'll suck having to deal with the stupid White Stripe issue every single Hair use. (Is that EVER gonna get fixed?) I also still can't find any way to de-pointify the Chin & keep the Jaw up at the same time. :pinched:

Here's how to fix both problems.

Problem One: White streaks on hair
===============================

1. Open the *.mor file of your character with the Toolset.
2. Go to MORPH_TINTFILENAMES and change the content of line 11 to the same values as line 3. Copy and paste.
So if you're using the tint "t3_har_blk" for line 3, copy it on line 11.
That will remove the streaks problem.

Problem two: Chin and Jaw problem
===============================

I'm looking at both pictures and I think it actually has to do with the neck. I think the values on the "Neck back" may have been altered.

go to section 11-Neck on the Object Inspector in the Dragon Age Toolset.

There's a value there called "Neck Back".  Change this value to 0. This should make it easier for you to do the changes that you are looking to accomplish. :happy:

This image below shows the actual effects of "Neck back".

One is shown with 0.  The other with .52. And the other with a value of 1.

The effect of "Neck back" completely changes the jaw structure and the chin structure, and the greater the value, the harder it becomes to add more round features.

@ Zeleen - Thats really great work with your revamps. I always liked Quinton. I just noticed that he has a white stripe in his hair though. I believe petehog explained how to loose this problem a couple of posts above me.
Garrett Cousland, I can see quite a bit of Nowshin influence here, but you added your own spin on it which is cool! I also think the green eye make-up may be a touch too heavy on Zahara, it might be distracting me from the rest of her lovely face.

@ Saerwen - Another cool remake! The think I found most challenging when doing remakes of cc characters is that once you have the copy face in the toolset, to actually change it but still keep all the interesting things that made the original character is good. ie Adding to a design but not taking anything away.

@ Nowshin - I agree with everyone that the dresses are superb. Will you be unleashing them to the public?

@ Meepichi - Vera is lovely. Respect to anyone who can make that hairstyle work. I can never seem to make it look right.

@ AvatarHunter - Solona is great. I see what you're doing with these default design ideas. I think its very well executed. You've really got a good idea going on here.

@ Neveri - Wow! She is the definition of sultry! I love the outfit you chose too. Very nice design.

@ mulch00 - Khalida is very pretty. I like the way you do your screenshots. Can I ask where in the game she is standing? I don't recognise it.

@ Tyrax - Amelie looks a cutie. I'd follow petehogs advice to sort out the little problems. Also if you want 'football' or in my mind 'rugby ball' shaped eyes, try combining a bit of face shape 3 with eye shape 1 and see where it takes you.

@AvatarHunter -Solona has a very pretty face that the short hair helps bring out. Nice work.
@Neveri - I'll agree with mochen, Salicaria is very sultry indeed! Love the dress too.
@mulch00 - Khalida looks good and the screenshot almost looks like a painting.
@Tyrax - I think Amelie has potential but try Pete's suggestions and post her again.  I do like the the hair.
I decided I wanted to try to solo the game so I made me a dwarf to do it and decided to go with a little non traditional look.  I liked how he came out.

@Tyrax - To be honest, I am still somewhat of a noob with the tat creation game. I just happen to be lucky enough that peope seem to like my single channel stuff. That being said, I'd have to play around with the programs a bit to see if I can figure out the multichannel thing. In theory, it should be easy enough, in practice, well, we'll see=)

@Mulch - Very alluring design there. I like it!

@Meepichi - Terrok is definitely what I would call non-traditional, but I think you have done some good work there!

Petehog: I meant fix the White Stripe thing as in it never showing up ever again to make us have to manually fix it, but I thank you anyway. It's normal for me to have to do stuff many times before I can finally manually recall how to do it. :)

mochen: I hope I followed your Eye advice correctly. :?

Meepichi: Many thanks! The Hair gave me a lot of hell, but now that it's working, I might be using it quite a bit! :D

Terrok's unique! I wonder if he could be a Dwarven Love Doctor? :P

Bender looks great! :D

Wyldsong: Programs...? i thought Tattoo making was Toolset work...? & you're still way mightier than me! I'm still xp farming on Morphs! :blush:

@Saerwen, lovely remake of your Kallian, she's pretty. ^^

@Zeleen, Eira's robe is just a dyed, normal noble dress. :)
- Quinton, I've always like him, he's quite the handsome man.  :wub:
- Garret, I can see that you've based him off Nowshin's Hawke, but you've put quite a lot of your own style to him, he looks quite neat.
- Syris, another handsome young man, I love that tattoo on him.
- Zahara, she is quite lovely, but I'd suggest toning down the green eyeshadow a bit, it draws the attention away from her lovely face.
- Mayan, she's very pretty and I adore the colours you've used on her. You've even made that hair work on her, I've yet to do that with a female dwarf.

@Nowshin, the robe is so lovely now, please give the fashion starved mages of Ferelden something to wear! <.<

@Meepichi, Vera is quite the beautiful and crafty looking lady, Very pretty. :)
- Terrok, he might not be a traditional dwarf, but who says all dwarves have to have beards and all? I think he looks quite awesome, actually.

@AvatarHunter, Solona Amell is absolutely gorgeous, I totally dig the pale skin, red lips and that hairstyle on her, she looks like a young mage who's spent a lot of time inside studying, also love those dark eyes. Well, I love all of her, really. <3

@mulch00, Khalida is very beautiful, I love the muted colours and her blue eyes. Also, making that hair work that well, you should have a prize of sorts for that.

@Tyrax Lightning, it's because of tmp7704's human proportion mod she looks as if she's not got matchsticks for arms. Amelie is starting to look quite cute. :)

@Tyrax Lightning

I definitely see an improvement. One other thing which may helpful is to change "uh_hed_elfa" to "uh_hed_fema_0d" in your base skin texture or blend skin texture.

The "elfa" texture gives Bioware elves the appearance that they have. But using the "fema" texture in your layout should allow you to round out the features a bit easier.

comments while it's still less than 10 pages!

@ Nowshin:
I have to say it again… lovely work on the retexturing of the gowns… I want them all!
And I thank you for the Hawke preset…

@LadyAly:
I hope you are feeling better soon!
I probably should wait until I get Zahara in better lighting .. her eye makeup isn’t quite that drastic as you can see in her portrait I’m using for my Avatar at the moment.

@Meepichi:
Vera is beautiful.. very nice work with the coloring and textures used.
Terrok.. looks like he will be able to handle the solo run for you.. I like the use of the facial hair.. very unique design for a dwarf.
Bender.. a nice warden indeed and yes I can see some semblance to my Syris..

@AvatarHunter:
I am loving the work so far that you are doing with the default characters.. Solona Amell is an ethereal beauty.

@Tyrax:
thank you for your lovely compliments..
I honestly don’t know how I got Mayan’s eyes.. I just stopped when they happened!
Amelie V3.. are you going for the worried look? She’s so cute!

@Neveri:
Salicaria.. she is exquisite … I love her muted coloring and her eyes are awesome.
Thank you for your lovely comments on my revamps

@mulch00:
Khalida wow again very real and gorgeous in her simplicity

@mochen:
thanks dear, I intend to work on the hair problem soon, and get my characters in some better lighting..

Neveri: Ahh, i've never really thought of the BioWare ladies as frail, but I have no problem with buff ladies as well. It would seriously be cool to have more than one choice of build type for Character Creation. :)

Petehog: !!! Ya serious!!? I never knew before that the Skin Textures had anything at all to do with the Anatomy. I thought they only affected Skin Appearance alone! Many thanks for the tip! I've been blending Fema with Elfa Textures for female Characters a lot before, I guess I need to rely on that combo a bit less. :o

Zeleen: Nope, Amelie isn't supposed to look worried, I was just trying to get that Football Shape Eyes I have been looking for. Perhaps I over-did it on the Eye Squint... :pinched:

The new Zeleen is completely utterly beautiful! :wub: (& it's not the Blonde doing it, mind ya.) Now that I think of it, she looks kinda familiar... Wasn't there an adventurous lady who looked like this earlier in the Thread...? :whistle:

@Zeleen, ooh, Zeleen looks utterly gorgeous with that hairstyle, she's turned into an even lovlier lady!

I felt like doing something with tattoo's for once, and something a bit more harder looking than I normally do. So I came up with Kaja, a thief, smuggler, occasional murderer and captain of her own ship. She prefers to fight without any weapons, but she's always got a dagger or 5 hidden someplace just in case things go out of hand. She'll have no nonsense on her ship, and would happily feed anyone that annoys her to the lovely fishes in the sea.

Kaja.
