So, I decided to give male design a try again. Mostly because I've been wanting to try this hairstyle out for ages, just never gotten around to doing so.
This is Gavin. He's all for equality when it comes to running around half naked. If ladies can do it, then by the Maker so can he, proper protecion be damned!

yasuraka.hakkyou: I know, the extreme values were warranted when I was trying to recreate the KB: AP Amelie, but now that i've given up on that, I have no more use for the extreme values & will be nixing many of them at minimum.



mulch00: Ronja looks mysterious & deadly... She looks like she could be an Antivan Crow! With that said, consider bringing her Eyes, & then her Brow, down a bit. They might be too high up.



LadyAly: I've gotten away with -1.00 Cheekbones before... they seem to work sometimes to me. I try to be careful with extremes, but sometimes, it can seem like a Morph is completely making me need them.



Min looks like a very serious & stern beauty! (She likely has to be to keep guy dirty paws off her.)



Nowshin's work is looking good on Sapphire & Isilwen! (I still need to get to the task as well. I wanna see Pumpkin in one of these!)



Zeleen: If ya gotta build, ya gotta build! I don't think her Lipstick Color is complimenting her build, but she looks great otherwise! For her Tattoo, might wanna try a Tattoo that applies only to the Cheeks, perhaps. If she needs help maintaining her Hair, i'm sure Valerie can donate some supplies!



Saerwen: If Jack isn't supposed to look sad, then I think Eyebrow, & Mouth Corner work is warranted.



Good to see Liza again!



Brandon's flaws give him character!

(Resuming from where I left off on my last Post. One of my dogs got run over by a UPS Truck & had to be rushed to the Vet.  I also got 3 Bites from the same dog because she was so gravely wounded, she was out of her mind with terror... I don't hold her responsible.)


badboy64: Christine is epic! If ya do try new Eye Colors, consider comboing the Red Hair with Red Eyes, & if ya don't like it, then ya can also try Blue Eyes. I've found both of these 2 combos potent.

Schratty: Scáthach is companion worthy!

I have yet to choose a favorite location in DA:O, since I have yet to complete a log. (Adult life is a bummer. )

NoAngel89: Simple, yet potent! A variant that has the Tattoo on the Cheeks, &/or on the front-sides of the Face could be cool too, for use on Characters that use a Hair that covers the Forehead & much of the Cheeks at the same time!

mulch00: Kyan looks like a gals dream guy! (Disclaimer: I don't know what i'm doing at judging gal tastes, so i'm guesstimating on this. )

I don't think that Skin Color is working on Amber & complimenting her, & her Nose Tip could use a little more Width. That's about it.

Found out the Toolset/Anime incompatibility the hard way. I've given up at the recreation part & am now trying to get the Morph to work at all. Implementing Petehog's advice is still on the to-do list.

Ya might wanna be real careful with Gavin, or one of the ladies of this Thread might try to make off with him...

@mochen, I think the Maker would soil his holy trousers if he ever met Rin, she is seriously badass looking, and beautiful!

@Tyrax Lightning, it's quite a nice monitor yes, although 1920x1080, not my first choice of a monitor but I wasn't planning on getting a new one so took what I could afford. Well, sort of afford. Amber is actually based on a real life friend of mine, so trust me when I say she is fine the way she is.
And, if any lady is going to run off with Gavin, it's going to be me. All mine. *hiss*


I found an half-done dwarf morph that I decided I should finish, 'cause female dwarves are fun.

Just for fun I thought about trying out that Ser Gilmore mod that adds him as a playable character and because of that I figured I would make a revision of him.  It is relatively similar to the original just with my touch I guess, this is what I came up with.

Followed Petehog's advice as best as I could understand it, then the tweaks naturally warranted tweakage to the various Nose & Mouth aspects, especially their Height. Doh... & I did it again, I forgot to tweak the Eyebrows.

ninja'd by Tyrax..  the eyebrows make her look sad.. but might have to tweak the eye style to get the brow you want.

My little Dalish has a name now... Willow and she also has a tatoo.. I liked how it gave drama to her eyes...  I took Tyrax's advice and changed her lipstick color as well..
she is an impish elf.. mischievious in a fun sort of way.. she loves sweets, and has never met a stranger.. her clan fears for her as she is often "too friendly" she loves the forest but, wants to see more of the world.. she is a superior archer..





I took some of the suggestions for Zahara and lowered her eyes along with the intensity of her eye shadow.

@AvatarHunter~Wow Gilmore looks great, nothing like a wet behind the ears knight, and that is just as well, he shouldn't. I myself am trying out Karmas Companions, it is still beta and is on the Nexus, it adds Gilmore(has support for Immortalities mod), Cullen, Jowan and Gorim. Is pretty fun so far. Your Dalish is also well executed. Thanks for the compliment on Liza, when I created her I spent a lot of time on her, I really like her as a character. She is cold and pragmatic, a vet to the darkspawn, and tired of the nobility.



@Zeleen~ Thanks for your compliments as well. Jack was fun. I made him from the first male preset, and I will have to see if he grows on me enough to continue playing him. Way to many irons(toons) in the fire. Both of your Dalish women are wonderful. Come to think of it I have never finished a Dalish playthru, I can never bond with the character.



@Tyrax~Jack was a in game CC creation, so I couldn't lift the corners of his mouth ;( So I will have to roleplay that he is just very depressed, Maybe should have given him an emo hair color and hair do! On your Morph, when you create, try making the charater bald, then making your adjustments... it is kind of like a blank canvas, and makes it easier to see the geography of the face.

I see some things I may change (eye brows but you got that!) It looks like her eyes are a tad high, and her nose a tad big for her face, just a weee bit, not much. Your other adjustments have really made a difference, She looks close.



@Neveri~ Next time I want to play a dwarf, can I pm you, and you will just send me a mor file? I love your dwarves. Gavin is yum, and that tattoo is perfect



@mochen~She would make any outfit look skanky Mochen! But aside from that, look at that piercing gaze.... am scared and she is a pixel. Eeep!

Ok, so I took a look at the design before and after.



I would change the jaw and cheek structure to flesh out the sides a bit.

I also agree with Saerwen. I would make the nose smaller in width and bring the eyes down as well.

I forgot that when the nose is lowered and the lips are lowered and the jaw is lowered....the eyes have to be lowered as well. So I would lower it about a couple clicks.

As always, your designs have a high degree of realism to them.

If there is one thing I could add, I would change the ear size. They seem taller vertically. It might just be the angle though.  Other than that, it's very well done.

I love the theme of the zombies and vampires. It's so much fun to make slightly evil characters. 

For the vampires, I'd recommend this armor.

And a darker location. Maybe something closer to the Black Marsh location you first meet Justice from Dragon Age Awakening. It's even got a spooky moon in the background to use as well. :happy:

@ mochen: While I liked Anna before, I also think the changes you made to her were quite nice. I change many of my characters after I've posted the "final" screen shot, so you shouldn't feel bad about that.

Rin - I really like this design! I find it particularly difficult to incorporate baldness into any design (especially a female one) and have it work. Very impressive stuff!

@ Neveri: Amber - I love her small features as well as her color palette. Her mouth, nose and face shape make her look cute, but her eyes give her a somewhat intense - almost devious - appearance. Very nicely done!

Gavin - I love the thought of Gavin running around the wintry Haven ruins without a stitch of clothing I think his tattoo, hair style and aggressive facial expression all work really well together. All things considered, Gavin seems like he'd be an ideal Berserker.

Ingrid - In a word? CUTE. She looks like an adorable trouble-maker


@ AvatarHunter: Lyna - She's pretty and plain all at once (it amazes me how you can pull off those two qualities in one design). I love her eyes and eyebrows - they really help drive home a certain look of smug condescension (as I would imagine all Dalish elves have).

Ser Gilmore - He's definitely an improvement on the vanilla version. However, you didn't stray so far from the original design as to make him unrecognizable. I quite like him

@ Starlight: I LOVE your zombies. They're so well done, it's ridiculous!

@ Tyrax:  I like Amelie's somewhat sweet expression. I also think her hair/hair color/eye color/skin color all mesh really well together.

@ Zeleen: I love the extravagant hairstyle on Willow. You really made it work well with the overall design!




Strom Version...lost count

Strom is one of those characters I go back and tweak every few weeks. He constantly evolves, as does his story. Well, this week, I've decided to make him look more like his father (Wulfgang). In doing so, I think I've actually upped his attractiveness (always a good thing ).
