I was just commenting on how big Zev's ears are. And considering it's an Alistair wedding mod, I know Zev's not the romance. I was saying I don't approve of Alistair.

It's that time again. I'm headed over to a friend's house for a few days again. I expect to be back on Monday, then like last time, it'll likely take me a couple days to catch up my Thread Reading!

[Eudaemonium]

Wow. I haven't been here in so long, and there are so many brilliant designs! Too busy to play DA at all these days, but I whipped up some designs on my breaks and thought I'd post them here. I whipped up most of them to try out some of the class/spec packs on the Nexus.

Kayin

Kayin is a Rivaini pirate and "trader" (smuggler). She was taking goods south of Ferelden to the uncharted territories when her ship ran aground in a storm. Her crew was killed, most of the cargo lost, and she was forced to make her way through the wilderness, killing darkspawn and bandits along the way (the corpses of some of which you see behind her). I designed her to play as the Wildkin Adept rogue spec on the Nexus, using the more magic-oriented skills.



Hatcher

Hatcher was a farmer whose family and livestock were slaughtered by darkspawn. He now lives alone in the Wilds, hunting them, his farmer life a distant half-memory. He is tired, so very tired, and his time alone in the Wilds has begun to change him, slowly. Like Kayin, I designed him to play as a Wild Kin Adept but using the physical skills. He was also inspired by a suggestion I received here when I asked for some ideas a while back, regrettably I can no longer remember who it was!



And finally...

Karsten

Karsten is a Spirit Eater, one who absorbs the spirits and souls of others to fuel his own energies. He was born in distant Tevinter and even in that mage-ruled land his abilties earned him the hatred of others. Torn between his own need to survive and the fact that by doing so he lays waste to everything around him, he shuns civilisation as a whole, preferring to gorge himself on the souls of animals and fade creatures in the remote places of the world, ever wandering. His talents blend those of the warrior and the mage, primarily two-handed weapons and those commonly assigned to the Entropy school.

@Eudaemonium~Isn't that mod Wildkin Adept mod awsome? I love it, much much fun. I can hardly wait till I get an end game rogue up against the Arch Demon. I mean WOW! Very nice designs, rugged and well thought out.

Terrok and Bender are nicely done marcho characters!

Neveri: Salicaria seems like a lady with pleasing appreance with a dark heart. You can really see it until she shows her fangs. I like the dress, its pretty!

Kaja looks really dark and cold-hearted smuggler.

mulch00: Khalida has a certain style with her. She looks unusual.

The female you have made on 235 is nice!

Zeleen: Zleen is a nice revision!

Saerwen: Elissa is a nice redo. Though I will like a paler tattoo as that tattoo cover a lot of area in the face.

mochen: Brock is smexy

badboy64: The first hair style looks better.

meathook: Larissa is beautiful and looks like she is easily pissed off.

AvatarHunter: Kelda is great. She is ha a fascinating face, very realistic.  There is something calm and confident, maybe a litte arrogant in the way she looks.

This is Geralt, he is not really finished (and I have no idea what armour I should give him since the witcher armours aren't realeased yet, hence the bare torso).

Kelda looks strikingly realistic. She actually looks like a friend that I know from college. Add some eyeglasses on her and it'd be a dead-on match. Very well done!

This second design is designed after "IT". Unfortunately without his original hair.

@Tyrax, Dude, your girl is done now! Seriously your morphs all end up looking so unique and cool, coz you really take on board everyones feedback. She rocks!

@AvatarHunter, As the king of realistic proportions you never disappoint. Great work one again with Kelda. Haven't seen that outfit before though. I think it kinda looks like she's wearing an apron?

@Pete, If AH is king of proportions, you are king of textures. It amazes me how much difference textures can make to the overall polished appearance of a morph. Nice work my friend!

Which character competition was it in? Because I disagree wholeheartedly with what they say. Your Pandora design is absolutely stunning.



Beauty is subjective and different from person to person...but certain designs are universally beautiful and Pandora definitely fits that unique category.

I just read the forum. I'm not particulary fond of the way that it was judged. It looks like it was judged by about four guys or something of the sort and they were the ones who made the ultimate decisions on the designs. In other words, it wasn't a community vote.

That being said, Mochen....it wasn't a fair contest to begin with... because it wasn't judged by the community.

Regarding the "judges", I don't really know much about who they are or what they have designed in the past..or whether they have a keen eye for detail and aesthetics....

That being said, your Pinkish Buble design and Pandora designs are clearly one of the best I've seen. I feel they surpass the other designs.

@Zeleen Haha there's that word yet again, "unusual". Well you know to be quite honest I have no clue where I got this robe from. I have downloaded lots of armor mods overtime and I suspect this one was an override for a robe in-game considering I equipped a tevinter mage robe and got this. At any rate I thought it was unique and went with it. It sort of put me in the mind of a very flamboyant Greek robe draped over a tevinter mage robe.

Try looking for an armor robe or something similar, for arcane warriors I believe.

I just read that whole competition thing myself. I think you got stitched up!

Clear favoritism was shown and the whole thing was a bit of a farce. I read the build up as well and they gave no indication as to what a big ******-taking session it would be.



I agree with Petehog, but I'll just come out and say it. The other entries were pretty lame compared to Pandora., and the so called Judges obviously don't know much about designing characters.



Don't feel bad, your talents are actually appreciated here.

This might be kind of a dumb question but what textures/mods or whatever are you guys using? I've been a console player but now that the Ultimate Edition is being released tomorrow, Im gonna pikc this game back up for the PC.
