Zeleen: Ya serious? That File DOES have the correct pants? The Gallery for that File needs to show off the special ones, or everyone's gonna think it's all Pajamas! (& no offense meant, but i'm gonna use the Mod to get the shots, then re-disable it because it notes oddities it does to Anatomy & I don't want those side-effects on my Play Characters.)

I need some backup. I've made my next Morph for display, a Human Male Mage, & built my Dummy Male Mage at last, & stuck the Morph onto the Dummy Mage, but for reasons unknown, I can't get my Morph onto the new Dummy Mage. I've 'Post to Local' a barrelload of times, but even with the exact correct name of Morph File on the correct File on the correct Line, the Morph is not showing up in-game, & it's just the BioWare Default! It's not getting correctly overwritten with my Toolset Morph! What the buggers is going on here? I thought I had gotten the hang of this!

Are you sure your .mor ended up in My Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/modules/Single Player/override ?

I don't know why, but sometimes my toolset feels like exporting things as .mop files instead of .mors, maybe yours have done the same? *shrug*

Tyrax: Might be a little extreme, but try deleting the test character(s), deleting any exported morphs for that character, and then retry it all.

Neveri, when I first saw your elf she really reminded me of Morrigan. I really like how she looks and she looks like a tough one to deal with!
Iris looks really nice! I love that black-blue hair of hers! Good job on her!

Noir201, Eve is really pretty. Her green eyes stick out beautifully with the red hair+outfit.

Starlight, Doug is a real looker. The tattoo suits him well and is pretty! As for Merlin and Harigon, I am not a major dwarf fan, but I do think it takes a bit to make a dwarf look really nice. You worked it I'd say.

Mulch00, Elias worked out quite well hasn't he? I somehow cannot make a guy look decent. If I'd post one it would be an ugly bony guy instead of a stud. I really like Elias though!
Guinevere looks indeed like she's been through a lot, though it doesn't make her less pretty I'd say. *thumbs up!

Ashwraith, Asenath looks like someone never to mess with! those green eyes! Nice work.

AvatarHunter, Svetlana looks really sweet. That was actually the first word that came to my mind when I saw her. Briggs looks like a man who you should be scared of haha. He looks nice though!

ID10T: Missing Race & Gender Identification Prefix!!!

I hate myself sometimes... this is embarrassing. I had to look at my Morph Transplants on other Dummy Characters to find my error.


Xion (Reborn!!!), V1.0:


Evil power-hungry madman Mage bent on the old cliche of World Domination. He wants everything & everyone to bend to his will & whim & he won't let anything stop him! He is a true picture of greed & selfishness. He is destined for the BM + AW path, Maul + Staff, & Earth + Entropy. If he somehow gets all the Earth & Entropy Spells & still has capacity to learn more Spells after that, he will dabble into Spirit.

Based on my old Xion that was among the tragic File Deletion Accident victims. (Though I think this Xion got it better on the Nose Department, for the old Xion was CC Born.) I used the same Hair & Beard, & this is the only time i've ever gotten a Beard to work on any Character of mine, but I re-did the rest of him. Old Hair Color was the BioWare default Grey, but this time, I decided to try out the CC's White for the 1st time, whole new Skin & Face Anatomy, & tried out a whole new Tattoo pattern & coloring for him. I wish I had any Pics of the old Xion for comparison. *sigh*

Tyrax: Xion is great. The white hair and beard give him the look of a wise mage and the tattoo and his eye make him look dangerous and wild at the same time. He looks like a person who would double-cross someone to achieve his own goals ( World Domination definitely counts as a goal). Amazing character.

Catt128: Livia looks good. I like her eyes and the scar.

Working like hell in this few weeks and I have to squeeze time to create morphs and making post into the forum.

mochen: Thank you for your appreciation! The armor is retextured by me and I call it "Stonefire". It will be contributed to the project I'm participating now (Not in Act I but in future Act)

Sorry for what you have endured previously (about the contest), I'm telling your wholeheartedly, your work and screenshots always come with unique style and perspective. I really enjoy every work you have done. If you are being treated impolitely, forget about them and you will always be welcome here

For the design, in my opinion, it depends on whatever personality and background I have given to the character. If I want the char to be serious or suffering, I may go for realistic approach. If I want the char to be comical, I will give them more exaggerated features.

There is not definite "correct" style for making morphs. Just like arts and design, Realism is not the only way to perform art.  If some of the people appreciate "realistic" approach only, let them. If they try to propagandize it and claim it is the only "truth" (like the Maker?:innocent:) , I don't think it is appropiate.

It took me a while to pick a color. I wanted the eyes to look as natural as posible but I was not happy with the standard eyes, so I used Bidelle's cosmetics and Pineapple's mods.
At first I was going to pick and amber color but since the hair has reddish midtones I thought that a bit of green would spice things up.

You can't see it in that picture because of the lighting but that skin texture looks so good. It's the "kid" option and in my opinion looks so fresh, ideal for young characters. (I rather use this one than the main two options for human female)

Badboy 64: Her outfit really matches her. I like that. And btw, why is Alistair doing weird faces whenever a picture is taken!

@ LadyAly: The warm colors on Marja are excellent. It's already been commented on, but I agree that everything from the location to the dress to the staff were meticulously selected and really bring the whole design together.

@ AvatarHunter: Caroline definitely looks the part of the aging widow. A gritty design that possesses a certain elegance to it.

Svetlana - Has to be one of my favorite female morphs. I can't quite put my finger on it, but she's just very striking.

@ sailorsaturnz: Your HFN is quite enchanting.

@ Neveri: Moira definitely looks the part of a sarcastic mage. I love her angular face and her small, delicate features.

Iris - I think you did a great job running with a monochromatic color scheme while still keeping the overall design fresh and interesting. She definitely looks like a shadow lurker

@ Starlight: Merlin and Harigon are both strong designs with a bit of cuteness mixed in. I reallly like your choice of armor as well

@ mulch00: Elias is very handsome and I like the emotion chart you included - very nice work.

@ Ashwraith: Asenath looks both rugged and elegant at the same time. Perfect for a Dalish elf.

Alright for the sake of toying with past characters I came up with this concept that I'm going to refer to as encore. The basis of the concept is visualizng that one or more of your characters is a npc or companion who is making a reappearance in DA2 and how they would look after a certain amount of time has passed. Is their appearance changed drastically or more subtle? Just for fun I went with my three sisters Lucy, Saphren and Priscilla. I really just went for subtle changes such as textures and different slider values since I wanted them to retain their original look but tweaked to reflect slight aging.

In these few weeks there are a lot occurs in our working area, everything seems to be thrown into a mess. I have to work late and even finish the work at home. It is really tiring [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/sad.png[/smilie]

I still have a bunch of morphs created and awaiting me to capture screenshots for them. I hope I can get them done and go on to create new design.

The Order of Sacred Moon

Not all of the people believe in the Maker. Or even if they believe his existence, not everyone revere him. Why revere a distant and uncaring god instead of paying respect to the nature? There are a lot of religious or philosophy group which respect the nature force. The Order of Sacred Moon is one of them. It dates back even eariler than the forming of Chantry. When the Chantry become the dominant religion in Thedas. The Order withdrawn themselves from the society. They are now stationed along the shore of Lake Calenhad.

The members are mostly the off-springs of the original members or adopted children. They rarely allow outsiders to join for fear of being discovered by the spies of Chantry. Though there are some exceptionally case.

The apprentices are trained with the teaching of the Order. When they are deemed as ready, they will perform a ritual called "Luna Mark". On the following full-moon night, they will bath with the water of Lake Calenhad to cleanse the body. Then they will be stripped naked and bath under the moonlight. According to the elders, the apprentices will be "marked" by the moon. From then they can draw forth the power of the moon to enhance themselves. Also, during the ritual, they will find the impulse to find their other "soul-mate", he or she will become the one's best comrade throughout the whole life. The attraction is both spirital and intimate that some members even develop romantic relationship with the other "half". They will become life-long lovers.

The members of the order appears to be some ordinary warriors or mages. However, they can draw forth the power of the moon which makes them to become more dangerous foes during the night.

Kethelon and Marvin are special. During the ritual, the "mark" manifest itself as the form of facial tattoo. A dragon appears on Marvin's left cheeck while a phoenix appears on Kethelon's right cheek. Even the elders cannot explain it. They think it is the prophecy of the moon which indicates Kethelon and Marvin are meant for greatest. They will leave their mark onto the history of the world.

Keth and Mars don't know what will happens in the future. What they only know is they have found their beloved one now.
