[Luke Bioware]

Yesterday was my first ride with the toolset, morphing at least. I didn't find my face that realistic looking in hindsight (and I kind of dislike the standard 'long' face you get). That's why Alistair's beautiful skull gave me some help today. This will be my canon. It worked out well in my opinion .



Plus: all those nobles do it with everyone anyway. For all I know Alistair and I are related somehow :7.

Zeleen - You're on a roll. Quality and quantity is hard to pull off.

Nice job on the Randall re-work. Don't know if it's just the lighting difference or a new skin tone, but the new one looks much more outdoorsy warrior type in the side-by side pic.

New Zev is great, one of the best Zev remakes I've seen. I love that tat, too. Glad to see the old Zev design got a new life. It was too good to go to waste. Makes for a great Dalish.

Really well done on the city elves and dwarves. Tasha is adorable. Love me some dwarf ladies. You have a real gift for working the background of all your characters into the facial design. The facial features are always racially appropriate and their station in life is obvious right away. I'm rather jealous that you have that Karian's hair, hehe. Can't wait till it's released.

LadyAly - Nero is one scary dude, especially the eyes. He'd be perfect for a Reaver. Love the fire pic.

jonathius2 - Like your mage a lot. He's got a strong resemblance to a young Peter O'Toole. I'd keep him away from Templars, something about him just says Blood Mage.

Starlight - Considerign the limitations of the toolset (at least in my hands), that's a pretty good rendition. I think the nose is throwing it off more than anything. Regardless of the resemblance, it's an excellent face.

badboy64 - Happy belated birthday. And you got a great present yesterday. Gratz to the Packers. Sandra is pretty damn hot. Good choice on the hair color.

AvatarHunter - Very impressive work on Lady Dolores and Lorne. Quite a strong resemblance, and great faces all on their own. Holy poo! Princess Leia comes to DA. I keep waiting for a wookie to pop up behind her. Nice.

Noir201 - That's an awesome DA Harley. I love it. Too bad nobody has modded a reasonable resemblance of Harley's costume into DA. It really wouldn't look all that out of place. Nice work on Elania. The longer I look at her, the more I like her. You have a really unique style. What is Elania wearing btw?

Dhiro - Good characters. Don't worry about pretty. Just like in real life, it's overrated. Work on your creations with the personality and background of the character in mind. The pretty part will happen on it's own if it is meant to be. Just look through this thread and notice that some of the more outstanding creations can hardly be called pretty. I'm with ya on the dude faces. My only good ones are from tweaking existing character morphs.

Neveri - I like Leilah a lot. She conveys a lot of intelligence and determination. And attractive to boot. Very lethal lady. I love that armor. Just got it myself a few days ago.

Petehog - Dude. You are just working on a whole different level than most of us. You continually amaze me.

Luke Bioware - Thumbs up on the new face. Toolset makes a heck of a difference, don't it? Nice work on the facial hair. I'm still really struggling with that. Can't seem to ever blend it all together properly.

Reeealy sorry if I missed anybody. So much new stuff to sort through.

Petehog: Your Lady in the Pic on top of Page 278 (It's hard to refer to your creations without Names... Perhaps could they get at least ID Numbers or some such...?) is very unique! She looks like she could be a foreign spy, or scout. Something about her makes her seem like someone not to cross lightly as well...

Your ladies in the upper part of Page 280 look like exquisite work!

Your lady in the middle part of Page 280 is breathtaking!

Your badass guy on Page 281 looks like more epic work! Buff Tats too!  Your 3rd Pic is malfunctioning as of the time of this Post.

Zeleen: Mariam's gorgeous! She looks very intelligent & ladylike, yet I bet she can handle a weapon very well to boot! I can imagine her with a Rapier or Foil, but some other light, thin-bladed Sword would probably work on her as well.

Your Alistair Revision looks like a more ordinary version of him, but with the whininess gone. I have no idea how to go about making him more unique looking without him becoming too much like the vanilla version though...

Something about your Leliana makes her feel like an evil version of her that never left her former trade & wouldn't be caught dead in a Chantry Uniform. She seems like she loves her work too much...

Your Morrigan Revision looks like a happier jollier version of her! It's making her feel kinda creepy...

This Sten Revision looks like a younger version of him in his prime!

This Wynne Revision looks like this is her in her younger wilder days!

I've heard of that game, including the fact that it's the 1st GOOD Batman Game in ages. I can't personally vouch for it though. Your Harley looks like a good likeness to me, except that the Mouth might be a tad too wide, but not by much. I can't tell for sure though, because the closeness of the Face in the 2 Pics are in a different scale, thus might be skewing perception.

Elania's cute & fun looking! Optionally, consider giving her Mouth Corners a little bit of upturn. :happy:

mulch00: Your Lady on top of Page 280 looks like it might be worth a try to enlarge the Eyes a little, then if that doesn't make the Inner Eye Corner line up, up & down with the outer edge of the Nostril, then widen the Nostrils a tad until it does. Optionally, it may also be worth a try to widen the Nose Tip & Nose Bridge just a tad or bit.

Dhiro: Your lady on top looks adorable, but room for improvement. Consider widening the Nostrils slightly, & then widen the Nose Tip & Nose Bridge a bit. I also recommend lowering the mouth a bit to better center it between the bottom of the Chin, & the bottom of the Nose.

Your Dwarf looks like she might just need widened Nostrils, & some Eye Enlargement. A Dwarf's Facial Features are a bit larger on the Face on Dwarves, compared to Humans, but careful not to over-do it. I'm also under the assumption that ya want your Dwarf's Eyes to look bright, kind, & innocent. Hope I gauged this correctly.

The Revision looks even better! (This sounds kinda stupid... It's hard to reference the nameless... ) I agree on disliking the standard 'long face'. It's ludicrous how high the Eyes are by default, & I always feel pigeonholed into having to use maximum low or near maximum low Brow settings.

@jonathius2~ The freckles are part of Dragon Age Redesigned, you have to download the newest update here off the social site. It is a texture, love it as if I wanted could have a tattoo as well.

Thank you for the kind comments on the armors and Dogan. I can't help but to do a rendition and start a playthrough with Dogan. Though the problem is I keep opening new characters but never ever finish any one of these playthroughs. 

I dare say Randall is much improved. He looks exactly like what you design him to be.

Nocto: He looks good. However, I find that I tends to not using these beards as they "fix" the lower part of the face and you can no longer change them once you have selected the beard.

mochen: Tess just looks "right"! Whenever I use that hairstyle I can only feature an elderly lady. I don't know how to make her looks young. 

Gretta looks determined and the "tear" under her eyes shows something opposite? And I'm glad you like the armor. 

Shaari looks like some tribal warrior from desert. 

Noir: Aelnara looks really good in that hairstyles! She looks just "right" and the hair color match the color of dress as well. * Thumb up *

Neveri: With the out-fit and the dark environment, I feel pity for Mona and I don't think she lives in a good condition.

Grey Warden Commander Kaim looks like he has been haunted by nightmare for ages. May be that's the sacrifice of becoming a Grey Warden? Or his time is about to come?

LadyAly: The feature of Monique is just as you describe, kind, young. However, the tattoo seems like an odd choice to me. It makes her appear comical. May be that's just my own opinion.

mochen: Axel looks fierce. I really don't want to get on his bad side. 

The white wizard...he somewhat looks like Gandalf in LoTR! 

Sorrak is a badass dwarf! I still can't manage to create dwarves like this. I tends to make them cute instead. 

jonathius2: Among the two I prefer the male elf. He looks handsome. 

Zeleen: Celest is pretty. The kissing scenes is nice though I dislike Cullen from the start.

I've just finished the new version of Etain's warpaint. I've improved the normal map (It was a bit awful) and I've made a texture for all the skin textures in the toolset. I also tweaked her a bit.
This is the result:



I'm also working in an addon to my Normal Map Converter to generate a normal map from an Height map.
Now some comments:

@Tyrax Lightning: Be careful with Elocyn Brosca's eyes I think they are too open and that is
a problem in some cutscenes.
