Continue on page 274:

Zeleen: I prefer the older verions of Ariel. She looks more realistic and mature.

Thank you for the comment on Andren. I find that I'm obsessed to create handsome and cute dwarves lately. :P

The last verion of Syris really distinguish himself from Alistair. May be I'm wrong, he does resemble Arl Howe a bit?

Jungon is some Korean I have heard from who-knows-where and Heng Wa is just some random Chinese name with English pronounciation. They are not difficult to get. I'm glad you like them.

Pode8: Kayt looks great! She has an innocent expression which can easily get into people's heart. :)

AvatarHunter: Faith looks naive. And the wilds she is in does give her a lively and energetic impression.

Sephiroth sounds familiar....is he the main boss in FF7?

mulch00: Thank you for the comment on Andren

Hilde looks pretty and intense! I like her.

Samuel . He is really handsome, and hot!

adneate: welcome back! Among the three ladies I like Raziya and Marli more. Raziya has a unique and distinctive facial features which make her stands out from the crowd while the composistion of Marli looks good. However, for Aleusa....it is not that she doesn't look good. It is just the hairstyle which I think suit better on commoner more than a warrior.

mochen: Erza Scarlet is lovely and she looks young.

Tyrax: Thank you for the comments on Andren, Jungon and Heng Wa. :) Jungon actually is more tends to a Korean than Chinese. And for the reason of the name, do I mention they live in a remote corner of Thedas?

Petehog: Thank you for the appreciation on Andren. Well, i have always wonder why Dwarves has to had long beard which will get dirty easily. When Bioware has done the example for beardless dwarf, why don't I follow? I think they looks better, especially when I want to create cute or handsome dwarves  Also, with the limitation of toolset, once you have applied the beard you can no longer customize the lower half of the face. That is another reason why I don't like beard.

Both characters look great! But...isn't that the vamperic texture pale? She doesn't look pale in fact.

Page 274 done. Will catch up the rest later on.

@Zeleen From the looks of it you sure have been working hard lately, if nothing else I am rather impressed with the consistency in all your latest designs. I found to be one of your best male characters imo, he has a lot of personality along with a particular and individual look.

@Noir201 Nice take on Harlequinn I always enjoy seeing renditions of diferrent characters. I find it interesting to see how people approach incorporating them into DA. It takes a fair amount of attention to detail and creativity to accomplish designs such as those and I think you did a nice job with this one.

@Neveri I really like a lot of the work you have been putting out lately, Leilah being a clear reason as to why I have. The pic as whole is just simply very well done from the color scheme to the shot location. All the tones and hues just seem to mesh together and compliment her complexion. The armor choice also really seals the deal, you made some great choices for this design.

@Luke Bioware If that is your first time tinkering with toolset morphs I have to say you show some promise, your male rogue there is a solid design. Nothing is too exaggerated or out place, just a good proportioned character. So I concur, it indeed did work out well for you.

@Roma Victa Just to make this short and sweet Lucilla is an absolutely gorgeous character, very impressive design to say the least.

@badboy64 Nice work wih your elven lasses, they both have a very demure and well mannered presence to them. I like the dark hair/brown eyes combo on Dixie, it looks good with her skin tone.

@Petehog What can I say man you're really killin it when it comes to textures, that lip texture is flawness seriously. Your elven dame is wearing that texture well, nice work.

@Starlight I think you have stumbled upon a very cool signature look with your cutey dwarfs, Merlin appearing to be the canon for this look. It is very distinct and has a very likable quality to it, definitely a unique approach. Good going with the Jian rendition too you captured his appearance well.

@Tyrax Dude . . . Wall - o - text . . . you're a beast, that is all. lol

@Mochen Well ma'am you sure have been causing a stir over at DA Nexus, it is really nice to see that mod has been received so well. I don't know if that is the fuel to your fire lately but your work has stayed on par with the level of quality that is usually expected from you, well done on the touch up jobs of older character along with your newer creations.

Felicity looks absolutely awesome, AvatarHunter. I like that bratty look. Yours also worked out well, Noir201, but your girl does look sweeter than that poster :P.

Anyway: I really like the look on the face of any Warden when you first encounter Morrigan, a nice shot. I want to thank you all for the nice words by the way :).

Tyrax Lightning and AvatarHunter - Thank you very much.

Charion de Celeste - I knew I missed somebody last time. Alythyen is a really interesting character. Young and innocent looking at first glance, and very easily underestimated. Something tells me not taking her seriously would be a big mistake.

Saerwen - Lizabeth is very cute. I like the facial structure. Maybe move the eyes just a little. Sometimes a little "improvement" ends up messing up the whole look. I hate it when that happens. Love your ladies at the bottom of the page, too. Very strong and confident looking women. In an effort to keep this PG, I'll just say that the dark haired beauty at the bottom is really hot.Posted Image

DarthShadow13 - Elawyn is one nice looking elf. Good work on the mouth and jawline. The tats work really well with the shape of her face.

Badboy64 - Dixie looks like she has a lot attitude. In a good way, lol. The eye and lip color looks really good on her.

skuid - Geat job on the morph and textures. She is quite striking. Downloaded. Really looking forward to playing with the new textures.

mochen - Yes! Minsc is almost identical to something I had in my head, but achieving it in the toolset was proving to be rather futile. Thanks for saving me a lot of time and frustration. :) Cave Witch is pure awesome. And Lyta, wow, she is really stunning. Beautiful eyes.

Neveri - Taisie looks like a Norse goddess. Very pretty. Perfect setting for the pic. And Gareth could be her mortal mate. He'd look very much at home on a Viking long boat. Great faces.

AvatarHunter - Something tells me Felicity doesn't get pushed around much. Okay, at all. I almost feel sorry for Loghain already. You can call her whatever you like, I'm gonna call her Boudica.

Which reminds me, my Dragon Age dudes really want kilts. I'm with Ohgren, who needs pants.

Noir201 - Yum! on both. :)  Luke has a point, though. Your girl looks a litttle too kind hearted to be a villain. I think she'd feel really guilty about being a bad girl.

Pode8 - Overall I like her. Particularly the eyes and mouth shape. I think the shadows in the top pic are distorting the actual shape of the chin/lower jaw. Looks much better in the next pics. The facial expressions and lighting in the opening cut scene are not the greatest for character assesment. And the fade is really funky. I'd get her back to the tower proper and some better lighting before trying to make any serious assesment.

With all the awesome and ingenious things I've seen here done with mods I may wait with DA2 untill some of equally mind blowing things pop up for it.

Coz frankly, I'm pretty sure BW will botch the faces and conept disign (armour) again...

I just love the Dragon Age dwarf ladies. Maybe it's just me, but I think they are cuter than a bag full of puppies.

Apparently, this is a Morrigan puppy. She does not approve.

Never could bring myself to stick with one as far as Ostagar, though. The monkey arms really freaked me out. So, I was really happy to find TMP7704's mod for fixing the proportions.

Started working on Sigrid the past few days. I'm getting close on the facial structure. Decided to make some new tats for her. Still a rough draft here, just checking on placement.

She informed me that there was no sodding way she was going to wear the same casteless mark as everybody else. I pointed out that life was hard enough already, and sticking out would only draw unwanted attention. This attempt at applying logic to the situation earned me The Look. Every man with any sense knows that it is futile, not to mention extremely counter-productive, to continue pressing a point once The Look is deployed.

At this point, I excused myself and went out to the man cave for a bit. I informed the furniture, in a most firm and manly way, that there was no sodding way I was going to make a new tattoo. Princess could damn well wear the same mark as all the other dusters. And like it!

As you can see, the new tattoo is coming along nicely.

While working on that, it occurred to me that dwarves are notoriously fond of shiny things. Sensing a golden opportunity, pun intended, I started tinkering around with some metallic tat textures.

I thought it prudent not to get Sigrid's hopes up if it didn't work out, so I asked Mochen's Shaari to take them for a test run.  Not as shiny as I'd like yet, but I have an idea that needs further testing.  To be continued...

Hmm, could use some tips with this one.

I've decided to make a lil' hybrid between the CGI trailer Warden(Malcolm is his name I believe) and a 'canon-looking' Cousland- guy. Used Fergus' morph as a base and edited it a bit. The nose was one big pain-in-teh arse to do and I also tried to avoid using Alistair's shape too much but still.... not really sure about the result.[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/unsure.png[/smilie]

Awesome, Avalla'ch. I can't see a thing I would change from these pictures to be honest. He looks great. If I didn't restrain myself to toolsetting without mods, I would want that kind of look too (without the tattoo).

@Avalla'ch~ He is a nice design. If you are looking for feedback, I would suggest moving his features up a bit. He seems to have a really large forehead. I do like how you have mixed the two designs together.

Some of us use the toolset, some use the toolset and a bunch of mods. A few just use the Character Creator. Hope that helps unless you want more specifics.
