I don't have much time, so I'll just comment on the designs on page 286.

@Starlight: Rick looks so much like a friend of mine and Galf looks like my neighbour. Good work! Your other male designs are great too. You always create such handsom men.

Ser Gilaer is amazing. She looks experienced, hardend and wise. I really like that design.
Vente looks exactly how I'd picture a reaver.

Tann'aerl is cool. He looks strong and calm. Great elfs.

@Mochen: The Everlasting looks creepy. Is this design inspired by a movie or a video game? Great work.

@Lynn01: Your dalish Shira looks good. In fact she is absolutely great. Just wow.

@Saerwen: Wow, that Witcher hairstyle looks good on your version of Zevran. I assume it is Zevran, but so much better looking than the original Bioware design. God, I love your elven designs.

@Zeleen: Wow, Tempest looks great. That haircolur is amazing. Somehow reminds me of a much better looking version of the Seraphim from Sacred.
That new haircolour on willow is great. It is a perfect match with the eyes and the make-up.

@Neveri: Ingrid is lovely. She looks so beautiful and innocent

Zeleens Wyona, well the two versions, Abomination and mage, inspired me to create Hanna, a young, shy mage:

and then Hanna as an abomination: The Silent Beauty Hanna ;)

mulch00: Thank you for your kind comments. I'm glad to see you like my design. [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/smile.png[/smilie]

Hanna is an interesting concept especially the two morphs are of two extreme. You have put the Hurlock's skin into good use.

The following four are some previously made morph. I modify them a bit and show them here.

When the surface dwarves live far away from the Lyrium, they are not longer under its presistent effect. They slowly connect back to the fade down through the bloodline. Some of them start to have some fainty dreams. There may have dwarven mages appears in the future.

What if some of the dwarves really possess this gift or curse?

@ Starlight - Wow! Some of your characters are really great! Your dwarven witches are really interesting!

Ok here is a new thing I came up with. I'm trying to push the limits of the toolset a bit with this.

Nowshin and Roma Victa helped me loads with this by the way. They are both really awesome!

I went to work on my brothers toolset some time ago only to realize that I'm simply the creative type. Still figured I wanted to give character creation a go so I tried to make it look like a certain someone. Crazy props to anyone who can figure who I was going for though! (The armor might be a clue :innocent:)

Feedback both in ways of constructive and destructive criticism is very welcome!

@Starlight:  Wow, you are really busy making new designs. All the dwarfs are great. The dwarven witch of the wilds is a very interesting idea and an interesting designs. I like those slanted eyes on the first witch, because I haven't seen many dwarven ladies with this eye shape. It gives her an exotic and wild look. Also, you dwarven males are great. You really have a way to make them look good without a beard, yet still dwarfish (? right word?).

@Mochen: Cool creature. The antennas and eyes are awesome.

@Pitrus: I'm taking a wild guess: Kate Beckinsale?
I think the face looks already pretty good, but very long. I'd maybe shorten the chin, move the mouth up a little and maybe the nose too. Other than that I think she is fine.
BTW, the same Pitrus from Nexus? Anyway, Hi! I'm gald to see you here showing off your Kate Beckinsale design (God, I so hope I guessed right :) )

Starlight: Your creations are buff to behold!  One caution though... aside from your recent Elves, (Which I dunno how to gauge because i'm still hard pressed trying to figure out how to do well on them... :() your work is looking quite similar to one another... They're looking like every last one of them could all be from one single family. It may be time to attempt to diversify. No offense is meant. :innocent:

Mariefoxprice83: Silvana looks good, though she's lookin like she's bored outta her mind by her adventure... or by whatever she's lookin at. :P

mochen: The Everlasting looks wicked cool! He or it would definitely rock to see in action! :o

Blessin is adorable!  Though it feels like there's a weight of sadness on her shoulders... & she's doing heroically well at trying to hide it, but I can still feel it...

Your Nowshin & Roma Victa assisted creation is Epic! :o

Lynn1: How the buggers did ya do that...? She looks fun, yet serious at the same time! :o

SoaringEagle: To show off Profile Pics of your Xbox 360 Characters, go to Profile - Full Profile, & in the next Window, go to the Games Tab, & click Xbox 360, & in the next Window, ya can see your Characters. Ya can go into the info for each of your Characters, then Right-Click the Profile Pic, & select 'View Image Info' to get a Window with the Pic's info, including it's Web Address. From here, ya can Copy & Paste the Web Address for Posting just like any other Internet Pic. If ya don't know how to Post Pics themselves, this Thread will help ya: http://social.biowar.../9/index/994591

Hope this helps. :)

nightcobra8928: They're all lookin good! :D

Wyldsong: Many thanks for the Link! I've got it Bookmarked now! ^_^

Saerwen: He definitely looks like a ladies man! B)

Zeleen: That Armor looks Epic! :o Although I dunno about the 2 sticking up parts on the outer Chest area... It doesn't seem to be doing anything useful for the getup, & personally, I wouldn't wanna take any chances on some rear or rear-side impact shoving my head into those parts if I was the getup wearer... That's not practical. (I mean no offense, but I do try to think about practicality in a getup. Non-Practical parts on an outfit can detriment it's overall quality. Performance 1st. If this was a real getup, could ya imagine how much it would suck if an enemy clubbed the back-side of your Head & Knocked one of your Eyes straight into the sharp part of one of those sticking out parts of the outfit? OUCH!!! :pinched: ) The rest of the getup rocks though! A Pic showing all of the Footwear part of it please? :innocent:

It's always good to see Willow again! ^_^

Neveri: Ingvild looks like a beautiful, refined lady... with a lot on her mind...

mulch00: Hanna's cool in both forms! :D Even as an Abomination, I could swear I can still see a faint trace of her former Humanity in her Eyes... Perhaps she isn't fully evil even in this form...? Could she be saved...? Hmm...

Pitrus: I don't recognize that Armor... :pinched: Anyway, To best gauge a creation's Anatomy, a Full Frontal Pic is always needed. It's impossible to gauge all of the Anatomy with only one point of view, & some of the Anatomy on the Face can only be seen & gauged properly with a Full Frontal View. From what I can see in this Pic, i'm unsure if the narrow Jaw is working for her, consider widening the Jaw some. Her Nose might warrant some work too, but I can't give full assistance with it without the Full Frontal Pic. :)

Well, after much tweaking I think I've came to a proper compromise. Again, Fergus Cousland as a base and also moved the features up as suggested. Face's nothing special.

Image IPBImage IPB
I *really* tried to avoid blatantly copying Alistair's face with the 'Unique shapes' option and wrestled with the face sliders instead. Not sure if it worked out.

I would also like to thank mulch00 on the Nexus site for giving me teh tips about the blending options. It was you right? It's just a blind guess judging by the avatar.:wizard:

BTW:
Is it just me or does Awakening have some sort... of a different lighting or colour filter? Everythins seems... darker and more detailed in there. I've noticed that when trying out some morphs.

@Avalla'ch: Cahir Mawr Dyffryn, is that you? :o If that is really you, well first things first: Ahoj! Good to see you here. Yes, it was me mulch00/Entopie. :)

No, you didn't 'copy' Alistair's face, not at all. Don't worry, you design is awesome. A very, very handsome man.

So, what you mean by 'nothing special'?<_<  He looks great. This was you first time working with the toolset, right? As I said before, you are really talented. I'm absolutely impressed. Great work, please keep it up, I'm really looking forward to see more of your designs.:)

Here she goes again, I did my best (doesn't necessarily say much) to edit the morph with your insights while still trying to get the likeness to Selene from Underworld (good call mulch ;) And yep, same Pitrus. Thanks again for that by the way!)

Image IPB

Still very much a WIP though, I'm having some trouble with the nostrils, among other things.

Feedback is welcome, I'm still very much new to character creation!

Edit: After seeing the screenshot here I realize it's still quite a long face... Guess I'll get back to work <_<

There we go.

Pitrus - She's coming along nicely.  Selene is a popular choice.  She was my first serious morph attempt, too.

I think you've got the eyes.  And the mouth is better than mine, I think.  I'd raise her chin a bit and work on the jawline.  Do you have reference pics from various angles?

Kate's nose is tough to replicate.  At least it was for me.  I'm still not happy with the nose on my Selene.  She's posted a few pages back if you want to compare notes.  Maybe between the two of us, we can nail it.

Found yours and it's great, I'll try use it as reference for her jawline if I may!

You're right about the nose too, it's a pain to get right. I got some headers from mulch just recently that I'll play around with tomorrow and see if I can make it work. For reference pictures I took what I could find on the internet, I'm thinking of screencapping the movie tomorrow to see if I can get some better angles though.

I'm also not overly excited about the eyebrow possibilities of the toolset, I'm thinking of texmodding new ones if I find the time.

Last of all, this thread is amazing. With all the feedback I'm getting I really wish I'd found it sooner!

Comments – catch up from page 281...

@AvatarHunter- new avatar – cool!
Leia – an uncommon beauty- I love how you do the “plain Janes/Joes” and make them exquisite.

@Petehog- your tough bald guy is badazz

@CdC – Alythyen she’s lovely with your special touch

@Noir201- Elania is really a cutie with those big expressive eyes!

Pg 282-
@Luke Biowar – Nice work for your “first ride with the toolset”

@Roma Victa – Thanks sweetie, for the lovely compliments

@Tyrax: thank you for your comments –
On Alistair I wanted to stay close but have the whininess gone – Lelian I wanted her to be more worldly and less of a Pollyanna (heh heh) I did make Karian and Kaleb to look like siblings – thanks for noticing and Karian is suppose to not look like a strong warrior so she can fool her opponents with her skill as a 2h warrior (thought it would be fun to see this girlie elf swing a BIG sword) brought the corners of Miaka’s mouth up a bit so she’s not so “sour” looking.
First time I’ve seen Tayo Surana – very nice!

@Saerwen: Lizabeth – I agree – the eyes are a little wide – but so are mine
The two at the bottom of this page – love how you made the tats work both pics – bottom one my fave

@DarthShadow13: very nice work on your Elawyn- would like to see her in better lighting

@Starlight: thank you for the kind words

@badboy64: Dixie very pretty and very Morrigan like

@skuid; love the new version of Etain’s warpaint (it was perfect for Sten as is btw)
And thank you on Karian

@mochen: always nice to see your work - and as usual out of new accolades but, I especially love the facial structure on Lyta- and her coloring is perfect.

@Alex_34: although both are lovely screen shots they don’t give much of a view to see your characters clearly.

@Neveri - Taisie – gorgeous cool beauty! Excellent staging btw

To page 283
@AvatarHunter – you said
“From the looks of it you sure have been working hard lately, if nothing else I am rather impressed with the consistency in all your latest designs. I found to be one of your best male characters imo, he has a lot of personality along with a particular and individual look.” –
thank you for the compliment but, which male?
I love Felicity – she looks like a spoiled brat – very nice!
Dorian: love the textures you used here – as always your characters look amazingly life like when you weld your magic!
Mischa; another “masterful” work of expression. And she looks familiar as well.

@Noir201- nice rendition of Anna Hathaway – great work on her eyes especially

@Luke Bioware – great shot, your warden looks bemused.

@Neveri: Gareth is HAWT! He reminds me a little of Timothy Dalton
Marcus – nice take on Fenrir-but, Marcus is Sexier

@Pode8: Amandah yep it’s fun to experiment, and the funny thing is she actually reminds me of an actress – don’t ask me who but, the face looks vaguely familiar.

@Roma Victa – ooooo love Morrigan puppy!
Love the Sigrid WIP and the tats look like a very nice project coming from you again.

@szekers2010: very nice Beserker there (your favorite class?) I like Marcus best.

@Avalla’ch: nice mix you have in your warden. I’ll wait to comment when I see the changes I know you’ve probably made by now – but an excellent base to work from.

Page 284
@LadyAly – lovely to see ya again and enjoyed the last chapter of Nachaya’s Journeys.

@hed777: Would like to see a screen shot if you have one.

@Voidlight: your Dalish, Morven- looks good from that angle but, would like to see more of him up front.

@Roma Victa: Amy Lee is gorgeous – and I like how you saturated the eyes. Didn’t know you could do that but, you are the color lady…

@Petehog – you showed two characters (no names) that are fabulous –

@mochen – thank you
Alice is a symphony of chocolate.. she’s gorgeous and your use of the browns is beautiful
Geralt v2 is cool and Hatsune Miku is probably from Anime? Great color on the hair.
Ser Handel: intense young man but, yummy

@mulch00 – Luna is intense – the eyes are somewhat mesmerizing
I like Ernie – and his eyes are gorgeous – they “take you in”
Geralt – is he that good looking in the game? May have to check it out.
Ooo love your bearded guys – I have to say Victor is my fave here – he’s awesome.

@mya11: Tessa is very pretty and her eyes are striking. An exotic look to her

@Pode8: Leliana’s long lost sister- Lillana – nice play on the name for a very nice character- you just can’t go wrong using mochen’s morphs.

@AvatarHunter: wow, I really like Avalon - I usually can’t look at the glowy eyes but, they certainly work on him.

Pg 285 *takes a little break* --

@Petehog: the poison Ivy looks interesting..

@skuid – Your elf modeling the red warpaint is awesome!

@AvatarHunter: Devyn – just absolutely gorgeous design – love the freckles
Niclaus - a serious looking man- and it looks like he’s expecting trouble.

@Nowshin – oooo Sean Bean – hubba hubba – what hair is he wearing?? It looks great
Cameron looks great in the new hairstyle - when is the release date?

@badboy64: Cassandra she actually looks good with those bright blue eyes.
Airel – she’s neat – kind of like a “light” gothic.

@Tyrax: I hope you are feeling better – there’s been a bugger of a germ going around here too, hit me hard for about 2 weeks. And I for one love reading your comments.. they are always so thoughtful.
Lyra V1.0 - she may need less work on her nose than you gave her. It looks like you may have brought the bridge in too far.

@Starlight: Pato and Lathern – aw the anvil of love – great story
And a true knight in arms – Rigus
I just love how your style comes out in your characters and yet they are very individual.
Arthelos and Angus are showing your growth with the toolset- very nice!
Interesting story with Cason – sounds like Scorpion and Viper deserved each other but – one of my favorites in this group you did not give a name and granted he’s a blood mage but what a terrific design..

@Roma Victa: Sigrid is coming a long very nicely – and love the coloring of the tats- gorgeous gold and the variegated is intriguing

@Saerwen: love your challenge elf- she is cool and no mods.. nice “slider work”

@mulch00: Gigi and Miffy **snickers** I said it before – great “creepies”

Pg 286 *gets up to stretch* --

@Starlight; a plethora of winning designs I believe that Rick is one of your more unique designs.. as well as Jordan
I still like Gon and he’s still one of my faves
But most intriguing are your females – don’t see many from you but, when you decide to do them they are quite nice. Olivia looks like she’s mischievous. Ser Gilaer is, imo, one of your best designs.
Well, make me eat my words – more females! You must be drinking that “creative juice” by the gallons!
Absolutely love Lenne the Dwarven Drag Queen!
Your new human warrior – Hime is a Fox (that means HAWT)
I like Hanna but, her eyes seem out of place. (color wise)
Uerta is gorgeous – one of your best.
Nalete – interesting design.
Tann’aerl – I like how you structured his features. He looks like a Norse warrior to me.

@Marifoxprice83: Silvana looks very pretty in that pick. Nice coloring.

@mochen; talk about extremes –
The Everlasting will give me nightmares but, Blessin is a serene beauty.
A bug? An alien *runs and hides* ewww -Good Golly miss mochen. – awesome work

@Lynn01- there’s no competition here (that’s another thread) JK
Shira is a lovely Dalish.. I love how you worked her eyes.
Yep, Nowshin did a wonderful job with the armor..

@nightcobra8928 – I think it’s hard to really make an opinion with the portraits but, I agree, I like the top one best of the collection.

@Wyldsong; KOOL!! **runs to Nexxus - panting OK back to comments**

@Saerwen – if that’s your Zev *drools* I just may have to use that hair. HAWT!!

@LadyAly – thanks sweetie,

@Neveri: Ingvild, she’s very pretty and looks to be a serious lass.

Page 287 * I see the light!* **angelic music plays**

@mulch00: thank you, I almost gave Tempest a tattoo for the eyes (seraphim style) ! I love that game!
And it’s always nice to hear that I’ve inspired some one. I had fun with Wyona so I can imagine the fun you had with Hanna. They look great btw. And Hanna has adorable freckles!

@Starlight: a great collection of dwarves.
I want to pinch Dolriph’s cheeks – she is soooo cute.
Alphonse is yummy! I love Gotem’ smile.
Your Dwarven witches are epic and I love the top one.

@Pitrus; your character is quite pretty – no I don’t know who she is.. but, she is pretty
Unless you were going for the look the only thing I see is her nose is rather long making the rest of her lower face long. Oh Selene from a game – don’t know it but – you may rethink the chin it looks to be rather narrow and long.

@Tyrax- the armor is Nowshin’s and I like it cuz it’s pretty (heh heh)

@Avalla’ch – Oh my your warden is even more yummier.

Oh my stars – FINISHED! **ta da**
had a lovely visit with my daughter this past week and a not so lovely visit with the flu earlier...

I also adore how you make your dwarfs. The tattoo's are lovely!

@Neveri, Ingvild is amazing! Her hair is really nice !!! Image IPB

@Zeleen, Thank you! Willow is simply... looking amazing. I don't know what else to say about her apar from that I really like her looks Image IPB I wouldn't want to come across your Ariel haha! Love her eye/hair color combination!

@Mulch00, Thanks! I'm glad you like her! Hanna looks really cute!!! Though her other side, my goodness, you really managed to make her look creepy haha.

@Mochen, wow from another planet or something! I could already see the outcome if I would try something like this. A totally deformed..... thing Image IPB Well done, btw!

@Pitrus, she looks really nice. I love her blue eyes with the dark hair. The blue armor only enhances her eyes as well. I couldn't tell who you were aiming for, though I looked quickly as I'm posting this at work *smiles. Agree that her face looks a bit long.

@Tyrax, oh eh... Image IPB maybe the eyebrows being lowered a bit caused that? Glad you find so though! I'm not really happy about her hair as I've used it a few times already, but I'm having difficulties installing the new hair.......or had, as I think it worked last night.

@Avalla'ch, Image IPB he looks nice!!!

mochen: Thank you for your kind comments. It is amazing to see the dwarven witches concept being so well received :)

Your alien(?)/insect-lady is amazing! She looks a bit creepy as well. :crying:

The tattoo is really funny.
mulch00: Thank you.

Tyrax: No offense taken. I'm thinking maybe I tends to use some specific features which make them all looks alike?

Avalla'ch: He looks grim and sexy. * thumb up *

Pitrus: She looks pretty! I think with some minor adjustment she is almost completed!

Zeleen: Thank you for your kind comments! With the encouragement from all of you, I'm more confident to create more female morphs now.

Ariel looks more grim and I don't want to anger her. :P

Lynn01: Thanks for the appreciation!

The idea of the follows dwarf collection are based on the stone which record down all of the dwarves who sacrifice themselves to be forged as golems. Their deeds will be remembered forever. May Ancestor bless them.

Avalla'ch: He isn't a 'standout' guy, but he looks strong, dutiful, & potentially trustworthy! He works! (I can imagine him in a starring role in an Action Movie!)

Pitrus: I hope this isn't annoying to hear, but it would be cool to have your Character & Kate Pics together for easier comparison. She's looking improved, but i'm uncertain how she compares to Kate... (If needed, ya can stick Pics into a Graphics Program to 'Crop' them to a smaller size that can work better at it's job, for example, cropping a Face & Head from the Pic to give it all of the focus. I personally use Paint.NET & GIMP. Both are free, but accept Donations.) :)

Zeleen: No problem! I can understand a lady thinking of using deceptive measures! Full fault of the guy if they think with their muscles &/or their pants instead of their head! :P

Tayo may possibly be my last CC work. She still isn't fully how I envision her though... but all efforts to get good at Female Elves in the Toolset have thus far been... embarrassing... :crying:

Many thanks for the Lyra Commentary! I was starting to fear the worst, & worrying that Lyra had bombed & noone wanted anything to do with her! :crying: With that said, Lyra has been a load of trouble for me, hence my comment above... I can't believe how much trouble i'm having trying to get her to look how I want. I swear to the Maker that the game is FIGHTING me on this... I tweaked her & checked her in-game & tweaked her some more & checked her in-game some more, & I swear the game keeps screwing up at rendering her looks how I intend them to look. For example, I try to make the Nose look like a small, cute Nose with a small Nose Bridge & a cute bump of a Nose Tip, kinda like Kari's Nose from the Ferelden Models Mod, then I save & Post to Local & check her out in-game, & I swear the game adds .10 - .20 extra Nostril Width & Nose Tip Width than what I set them to be! It makes the resulting Nose look like a mini Dwarf Nose on an Elven Face. I'm not kidding when I said the Nose was a hell of a lot of the work I did on Lyra's 1st Version! I swear no matter what I do, the game renders her Nose parts either stupidly too wide, or stupidly too narrow... yet I can't tell if it's the game, or me... With that said, i'll see what I can do about the Nose Bridge Width. :(

I'm not sure yet, but I seem to be getting better... but I won't know for sure until I see how my stomach goes after a couple days without Ginger Ale. :)

Ariel's beautiful! Even through her looking both seriously angry, & seriously evil! :D

Lynn01: Know how ya feel. I had trouble installing the DwBh (Don't Worry, Be Hairy) Mod before I finally got it working with aid from fellow Forumites, then even after that, it's a shame only Human Females can use those Hairstyles. :)

mochen: Rollergirl's cute & fun looking! Party Girl? ^_^

Starlight: Yup, that sounds about right. Ya are using certain features common to most of your work, & it makes them feel as if they're all created from one single, exclusive Preset. It means that ya can make a ton of good Characters so amazingly fast, but at the same time, it also means that they aren't quite having enough individuality, if ya know what I mean. I'm embarrassed to admit it, but with my useless pile of crud Memory of mine, if ya quizzed me & showed me various creations without their Names, I would never be able to remember who was who, because they have too much similarity for me to remember their distinguishments. My Memory can't handle the task. It may be worth a try to consider experimenting on new Anatomy Configurations. Ya might find some new formulas ya like! :) (Maybe even consider having some fun making uglies! They can be fun to work on, especially because ya don't have to give a buggers about Anatomy Rules or any other such thing! :D Ya may or may not have yet met my Half Troll Creation, for example... :P)

All of your Dwarves are lookin great as usual! By now, ya must have an army of charismatic, likable dwarves! :D

I tried my best at making a female dwarf, only in CC, which didn't turn out too bad I guess.

Baya, baya.
Isn't she a cutie. Maybe I should abandon Leilana and romance her instead...

On the otherhand, my Dwarf came out looking pretty generic. I guess that's what happens when you spend too much time playing females, you lose any skill you had working on guys.

I got inspired to re-do Tempest - the seraphm from Sacred reference by mulch00 - so gave her a tatoo and it brought out her eyes - also lightened her skin a tad
