I changed a lot of NPC heads. Cause most of them I didn't like. They looked all made so loveless.
This is my Kaitlyn for example:



or my Leliana:



Especially with Leliana I couldn't understand that they didn't make her more attractive. That they were able to do it, they showed with Morrigan and Anora.

In DA2, I guess, they use another, better "bone system" for the faces. So the mouth shouldn't be a problem there. I'm very sorry that they didn't give us a toolset for that game.

A high forehead isn't a bad thing, it's a question of the proportions. When the face below the forehead is too long, it looks somehow like a horse. If it's too short, it looks like an egg. With a high forehead, the face should have more width. so it doesn't look too long. With a low forehead you can make it more skinny and small.

Chuonrath: The head modeled after your daughter's looks beautiful.She has has very nice bone structure and I like her eye makeup especially. And I agree with you about the vanilla Leliana model. You did a fine job with but I think you should lighten her skin tone. Dark skin coupled with super pastel makeup translates to a "trashy" look for me. If you want to leave her tan alone then I would suggest making her eyshadow and lipstick darker. Maybe it's that particular screencap but her nose also looks extremely upturned. However, you did a great job with her general face shape and her eyes/brows are lovely.

I guess you know the problem with the light in the game. It all looks fine in the toolset. But when you're in the game, it's all different according to where you are (outside-daylight or inside-torchlight). Her nose is really a little "upturned". I changed that in the meanwhile as well as the make-up.

@ mochen:
Your Sloan remembers me to a workmate. Though he is still much younger as Sloan, he could look like him when he gets older. Very good job. He looks really like someone that lacks sleep.

Hester looks like a girl that made some very bad experiences. Is she able to laugh? Though she has beautiful eyes.
Your "Mummy make it stop" charakter I'd decapitate without a second thought. She looks really scary. But also very good done.

My first crack at the toolset!

I decided to make yet another Leliana morph. The original plan was to make her resemble Molly Ringwald in her younger days, but then I started going nuts. You can still see a little bit of the Molly there, though.

Can someone tell me how I can actually stick the head I made onto Leliana in game? I think I have to put some ERF file into my override folder but I have no idea what to do.

That's Leliana how I want her to look. Okay? It's my taste, simple as that.
The face from the SA Trailer looked fantastic, but was it the face that came with the game? I change heads to my liking, that's all.

Name the head genfl_leliana and post it local (right click into the work area). The file gets the prefix hf_ and is automatically stored in the ......override\\toolsetexport folder. That's all.

Chuonrath: I like your Leliana v2.0. I knew it! Manic Panic is all the rage in Orlais! In that screenshot, it kind of looks like she's yelling angrily at someone. I really like her nose and her eyebrow shape.

Searwen: That blonde is gorgeous. I love her strong, distinctive jaw.

Mochen: Both your Leliana and your Cassandra are amazing. I love Cassandra's makeup. From which mod did you get her pixie cut or is your own creation? Also, your Leliana is gorgeous. Her features are very soft and feminine. Again I ask where you got that hair style?

Alistair, "battle-hardened" and raven-haired. I made a green-eyed version and a black-eyed version. Alistair's distinctive nose was a pain and I didn't quite get it right. In fact, I think I made it bigger and now he looks extremely Roman. I can't be the only one who finds distinctive, somewhat prominent noses insanely attractive on men. When I try to forget the fact I intended this to be Alistair--when I look at it objectively, it actually seems better suited to Teyrn Loghain. :S Maybe this is him just a few years after the Orlesian War.

I can't say much for Flemeth as she is already perfect

Locien is a sophisticated elven male design and I still can't master it.

Zoey and Tabitha makes me shiver and Lorik reminds me of Varric even though he is completely different to him.

Sloan looks miserable...Poor guy!

Cassandra looks really nice!

I agree the new morph looks more war-harden and may be better fit for post-Blight Alistair?

And for this one, I was just messing around with the CC. I was aiming to recreate Katniss, from the Hunger Game series, but I don't think I did a very good job This one is pretty tho.

Got some high graphics screencaps of my Alistair morph. I think I am going to lower his mouth a little because his chin looks super huge. That is something I am learning about making morphs. Chins always look bigger when you fire up the game than they do in the toolset.

Also, I tried saving the morphs as presets by turning them into MOP files and sticking them into my override folder. They do show up as presets but their noses always get a little messed up when I view them in the Character Creator. Does anyone else have this issue?
