Uhm, I think you got me wrong, I appreciate any feedback I get, although I only make any changes if I myself feel they're necessary. Perhaps I should've said it differently, but I had a qunari day.
My point was that all feedback is welcome, suggestions, anything. I promise to consider every suggestion carefully, but in the end I will do as I please, as blunt as it may sound.
Also, if a face of mine doesn't quite look good, I want to hear it, instead of "it's.. umm.. looking... very good, yes".
I don't want any sugar-coating on the feedback, the idea of finding something good to comment on needn't be applied to my work. In my opinion if you have to actually find something good, that "good" is not good enough to be mentioned. But then again, if something is specifically good, then why not mention and compliment it.
... but this is the way I want my feedback served.
This is mainly because of I create a lot of different things in "real life" and get a lot of feedback on those things. Feedback is a tool for me to get better. Even if someone seriously says "that's sodding awful" I still consider that "feedback". Generally it's the (constructive) negative criticism that's best for the goal of getting better. Of course, positive feedback is needed to help see the good sides, and build confidence.
Then again, too much confidence can make one too cocky, as I know only too well. I get reminded of it every time I cut my fingers with the chisel when carving and not paying enough attention because of too high a confidence in one's abilities.
