mulch00: Thank you for your compliment. Me too, I stop playing DA2. It is not as engaging as I expect. I'm a bit disappointed that it doesn't catch up the standard of DAO.

Abby and Natascha are beautiful. I like the color scheme (eye shadow, lips color) used on Natascha.

Elsa is pretty. Where do you get her out-fit?

mochen: Sheeva is a unusual design. However, I find the body of Isbella is really exaggerated and I don't like it.

You concept Morrigan is stunning! Her expression looks like "I don't care everything" at all.

Suzie looks...somewhat too pale. It seems like she is not under healthy state 

Thank you for your compliment. The texture I have used on the last guy is hed_dhcb_0 (something like that). It is provided by the cannon toolset. The one with the skin of face removed and expose the bloody muscle underneath.

More harmonic design! Cary looks calm and elegant. I like her.

Oriana and Chitanya are nice as well.

Browsing through the last few pages in this thread I'm amazed at the level of talent you guys exhibit, alot of truly fantastic designs being showcased here. It's a little bit intimidating, but it seems the right place to go for constructive criticism on the subject of DA character design.

With recent advances made on the modding side, I've dug deep into DAO once more, and I've been working on a morph to use for my PC on this final, epic play-through. Always was a huge fan of Blur's trailers, and Stanislav Klabík who did the model work on them (craaazy talented). It's an old and tired subject, I know, but I just love "Malcolm" too much to let him go. So anyway, here's what I've got so far - any pointers would be much appreciated. Note that I've sort of steered off from trying to achieve 100 % likeness, in favour of looking more natural and something that actually works and doesn't clip or anything during any of the game's cutscenes.

A couple of unrelated questions: how do you guys use DA2 hairs in DAO? How can I create a lighting in the toolset that's more representative of in-game lighting?

Guess it's time to show off my Warden. Maybe this should have gone into the Prettiest Character thread, because I find her very pretty. She is also evil. Reeaaaaallly evil.

Her name is Skade Tabris, AKA Skade the Blackhearted, Skade the Bane of Leliana, Who Cut Off Her Head and Mounted it Above her Fireplace, Skade the Spawn of the Blood God, Skade the Avatar of Khorne.

A quick answer to mitchhunter. tmp7704 has convert the DA2 hairs into DAO and include these new hairstyles into his/her "tucked hair" mod. You could find the mod in BSN.

For the lighting, as far as I know, we could only add lighting into a level. After we have converted a level into an area, it can no longer be changed the lighting setting. Corret me if I'm wrong.

@Starlight: You've been really busy, so many new designs and all are absolutely great. Lucien is very handsome and looks like a very kind man. Inferno,well, I think she lives up to her name and the whole screenshot is perfect (the armor, the tattoos and the background with the lava)

About the outfit: it is the gray warden armours by tmp7704 (http://social.biowar...m/project/4662/), I just used the texture(s) (black Amell for Natascha and Coth version for Elsa) from a female mage champion armour replacement mod by AtraVirago (http://www.dragonage...ile.php?id=2703)

@Mitchhunter: The young Malcolm is indeed hot and the grown up version look tough but still handsome.

Where do you get that re-textured Warden's Armor?

Cedric is amazing. He gives me an impression that he is the same type person as Duncan. The new hair of Suzie is lovely as well.

Aveline is stunning! However, I find her skin too pale which seems to stay underground for too long.

Sorry that I have misspell the name of the skin texture I used last time, it should be called "uh_hed_dcpa_0d"

mulch00: The freckles add a lot of feature onto Billy. However, I find that it a bit too much. It seems like he has spent too much time under sunshine which leads to poor skin quality. :-P

Charles seems to be a serious person. I especially like his expression.

The facial features of Calypso looks unique. However, the hair is too iconic and I still always think she is Flemeth.

makalathbonagin: The demonic mage looks interesting. The city elf although doesn't look like the usual "Beauty" we have defined, she does have some special feature which I find her attractive.

LadyAly: Dwarven prostitute...a rather interesting concept. Although it is feature in background information, we never meet one within the game. Kudo for interesting concept!
