Mulch, he is fantastic! Love his hair - I guess someone managed to make it available for humans, too?

@Schratty:
Yeah, I did that hair porting thing. I think it could use more work (I need more training), but if you want I can send it to you tomorrow when I get back home.

Wow, nice work on the hair. I would love it as well, if it isn't a bother.

Thaddaeus, a qunari with a beard. Really a qunari. I'm working on beards for everyone (except women).

Abel, another qunari:

Lewis:

and Lewis testing a WIP beard (1. version and needs a lot of tweaking):

Lewis testing Anders hair, couldn't find a port so I made one, still needs tweaking:

zomg, discrimination ;/

funny thing about Lewis, saw his first picture and was totally like "ohh, that's what Anders could looks like few years onwards". Oddly, he feels more Anders-like with that hair than with actual Anders' hair o.O

I started writing a story about a mage, Neria Surana, and it developed into a larger story than I first anticipated. So I made some story boards in the toolset to help me map out the different scenes. Here are some of the characters (the screens are from the toolset, so some will be a little off compared to ingame shots):

Neria Surana and Connor Temund:
Posted Image

Alora and Polos: former alienage elves who left to join the Dalish:
Posted Image

Celia: an apostate mage who was captured by bandits and made their slave. She escaped the bandits just before joining the others in the expedition to find Cadalash:
Posted Image

Valentia: former Grey Warden:
Posted Image

Damien and Uthera: dwarves the group meets in Orzammar:
Posted Image

Grey Wardens they meet in the Deep Roads: Logan, Bethany (my attempt to recreate her from DA2) and Kallian:

A couple of Wardens I'm developing for various fics:

Not the best picture, but this is my Jorath.  Blood mage (oo, big surprise).  I'm trying to get a better screenshot, but the basic gist of the character is in this shot (although his hair is a bit shinier).  I'm not fully satisfied with the nose, yet, but on the whole I think his visage and added elements work well with his backstory in my head:

And my Arlathan mage, Tallathian.  She is still very much a work in progress, as I'm not sure I like the tattoo.  I want to find a tattoo that hints at lupine features but isn't actually a wolf, and just can't find one I'm fully happy with.  Plus her chin still bugs me...

I wish I could contribute in a more meaningful way to commenting on others' work, but I'll just sit over here in awe of your talents.  What I truly love is that you have such distinctive styles.  Studying your morphs helps me when I'm noodling with the toolset, so I wanted to thank you all for continuing to post your items!

@tmp7704:
Orsino's hair does look better on Lewis than Ander's hair, but he was just "test-wearing it.
Maybe I'll create one or two beards for the dwarven ladies.

@Ragingcyclone.
Wow, those scenes are cool and the characters and background stories seem to be very interesting.
Great work.

@tklivory:
Jorath looks definitly like a blood mage. The vains, the red eyes, red hair and the spider tattoo fit together very well.
Tallathian is very pretty, I like her eyes in combination with the white hair.

Thanks, mulch. I'm actually having as much fun creating those scenes and characters as I am writing the story.
Thaddaeus looks really good with that bears. I don't it work as well on Lewis, and perhaps it's the lighter hair coloring that gives me that impression.

Mochen..where did you get this hair? It looks amazing:
Posted Image

tklivory..I like the coloring you have going on Tallathian. The white hair with the eyes and tat coloring I think is a good match. Your bloodmage looks good also, but I almost missed the spider in the tat.

@ReaginCyclon:

No, the beard on Lewis doesn't look good ;) The beard is a WIP, Lewis was test wearing it as I need to test it (and the other beards) in the toolset, the game and on different morphs to make sure the beard(s) work right, sit right, look right.
The position of that particular beard isn't right yet and it is too long among other things, it definitly needs more work.
I've spent more time on the beards for qunaries and elfs 8I know they aren supposed to have beards, but it looks sort of funny) because it was a bit harder to get them to work on them for various reasons. Also the toolset does change some parts of the morph (jaw, mouth, chin etc.) when a beard is applied, so either the beard conceals it or you adjust that part of the morph to the beard, but that's something to be figured out when the beard is used for a specific morph. I'm too lazy to solve that problem for every single beard, hence the "test-wearing".

I bet it was alot of fun to figure out how to make those scenes.
I mainly stared playing around with meshes and textures, because, I like to learn how to do things, how it all works, probably because just making morphs isn't gonna cut it anymore. The morphs I make aren't very good, but still it mostly is just stupid slider pushing, finding good lighting and taking a good screenshot, nothing challenging, nothing that requires thinking, but still fun, a nice hobby to kill time.
Maybe when I finished the "beards for everyone", the hairstyle porting and the dreadlocks/new hairstyle & beards projects, I'll learn how to make those scenes with the toolset, because it looks interesting and like a lot of fun.
Those scenes are a really good way of presenting characters. Cool idea.
You could even make a movie to tell the story of your Neria Surana. That's so cool.

This wasn't the reason for the printscreen (guess what was), but it's also a nice shot of my favouritesest warden so why not.

I'd just like to pop in for a second and say: Avatar, your Richard Cousland is the best HN Warden I've ever seen - you nailed the family resemblance to perfection IMHO. Excellent work.
