For close up screenshots you go as close to a wall or any other solif obstacle, pause the game and rotate the camera. Make you character walk this makes the "fine tuning" of the distance easier.
Also, sometimes the faces look really nice from a distance but start to look stange in a close-up or vice versa.
I hope that helps a little.

Yea, that's I attempted with the pic of Rose, but if I got any closer when I angled the camera around, the face disappeared.  Like I said, I fail at getting super up close shots (outside of a cutscene).

Sometimes it takes real playing around to get the distance right.

yea, i can sympathize with the 'bored' part Kawaii. I've been making some morphs and playing around in the character creator a lot, but can't stick with any one origin for more than a couple of treaties.

my latest: Darrian Tabris  

I find the CE one of my favorite origins, and while, admittedly, the female CE has the edge on the male for sheer emotional impact of the story, it's funny being a dick to the bride on the male CE.  Yea, I'm a baaad bad person...but it's still funny!

In this pic and all previous play thru she's a Cousland.

In my current game she's a Mahariel, as in a half-elf Dalish mage/rogue.  I never know what dialogue I'm going to get.  I can't wait to use her character as an import and see what happens with all the conflicting flags.
