@Hayllee : Know what you mean, some of my chars i have that same perception, and it what keeps me playing dragon age after 6 month cause of the attachment i have with some of the chars i made, with that hairstyle, it's the best char i seen that pulls off that hair and looks elegant at same time.

@Noir - Thanks=) Unique is what I was striving for with her. Now I am working on a more simplistic, almost girl next door look for a human female toon. Gonna be awhile before I finish that one.

Since this seems to be character show off and critique, I figure I might ask your opinions on a few of my characters, and show them off.
Sylrien, who has gone through about 5-7 versions, all done with character creator
Sayide who only went through 3-4 versions.
This is Nadya, who I tried to make it look like she was related to Rica, except a bit less polished. only one or two tries till I was satisfied
As a bonus, my favorite moment in the game so far, despite multiple playthroughs:
I decapitated Vaughan! That is worth showing off.

I'm having a lot of trouble creating female noble dwarf/human, and the dalish elf. I prefer longer hairstyles, but I don't think they look right in the context of the dalish elf, too polished....and I just can't seem to get a good feel for the nobles. Any suggestions or tips? I want to try to make everyone unique, but appealing. It's tough. I'm still on version 8 of a human noble, and 3 of dwarf noble, and I'm just not satisfied.
Also: The eyeliner, how do you get it?

I love all the versions of your Minsc. He's just, that word manly does come to mind. He seems so textured and all the versions you have of him, he just pops out. I can't say a bad thing about this, and I would play this guy.

I adore Spartacus, so kudos for the look alike. I think the hair is a might too dark, and the jaw a might too...pointy? But he is quite good looking. BUT the most important question is: Where did you get Wynne's robe? I love that for her. Is that a mod, or your own creation?

Despite the excellent character, and when I say character, she feels like she belongs in the gameworld, as opposed to all the neon colored, opaque-eyed, anime haired women with thong armor that you sometimes see around here. Not to offend anyone, but it's just not my cup of tea. But seriously, I love that hair, and I really enjoy the look of your character. It's a solid design.

Sylrien: I've noticed that a lot of the Dalish have braided hairstyles, so that's what I've gone with on my designs. as for the nobles, hairstyles that kinda look like you might see them at prom is my standard (more or less).
Loc_n_lol's hair is from a mod, Tucked Hairs or something similar. No design of mine? sad face. oh well, whatever...

@Sylrien: Could we maybe get a close-up of Nadya? She certainly looks as though she could be tough competition for Rica apperance-wise, but we'd have to see her face to really know for sure! Thanks for your comment on my Eris, btw.

I really like Sayide's dark complexion; were you going for that oriental look, or was the name just a coincidence?^^ Here, I think she would look better if you rounded the face a little more. This is partly the hairstyle's fault and partly the CC's: in the CC, the faces often look really well proportioned, only to seem really long-drawn when seen ingame. That particular hairstyle enhances this effect. If tried to counter it several times and must admit that I failed in most cases...^^

@Sylrien I believe Isabela is supposed to hail from Rivain (I think I referenced the Dragon Age Wiki and the toolset to re-examine her dialogue). As for where you'll find that particular head morph, errr...nowhere at the moment as I've never really given any thought as to putting anything together for that and I'd have to try to track down exactly which mods I used to create her (the tattoo is definitely non-standard, her hair is from tmp7704's tucked hair mod, her skin tone is from Pineappletree's mod, and the lips were a result of a blend with one of Petehog's textures, and I can't remember where the scar was from at the moment). Regarding your characters, I can't remember exactly what is and isn't possible with the in-game character creator anymore (I haven't actually used it in a while) but the only thing I can think of off the top of my head is perhaps try a rounder jawline/chin for your eponymous character and slightly-thinner lips for Sayide. To be honest, I can't tell much about Nadya due to the angle of the screenshot but she looks alright from that angle. I'll try to give them a closer look when I'm not as pressed for time.
@yasuraka.hakkyou I'd say that you don't have to match the exact shade of red that you used for her hair (you could probably get away with a slightly darker shade of red for Leliana's eyebrows). Otherwise, I like her facial structure.

@ YH - Excellent take on Leliana. Your personal style really shows. It's a little hard for me to critiscise as we all have different visions of particular characters, my particular morph is how I see her to be.
The facial proportions are fine. I would personally give her a slightly smaller chin, but again that's my personal preference. I think redesigning npc's is where personal style is most obvious. It would be interesting to put mine, petehogs, viruscats, yours and anyone elses leliana's side by side...that way you'd really see the amazing differences in ideas, yet still see the essence of the character in all.

everyone who commented on my Lel: made her eyebrows red this morning. I am using Petehog's uber (salmon) lipstick, but my laptop sucks poo poo pancakes in regards to gaming, so it doesn't exactly show in the screenies, I guess.

New verison of Leliana, she my fav char in the game, and have changed her alot, but i wanted to try out a bad girl look to her.
Yeah the outfit is abit out of place, but i got it on her mostly cause of the tattoos, fits with the ones she has at side of her face and her neck.

TY. Yes it's a custom hair that is 90% one of the original hairstyles (default Leliana), you can find it and others like it here. Works well on elves for whom you want the ears to show off.

Thank you all for the links and advice. Is there anyway to get the charactesr back to the CC? I've never been able to work out the toolset properly, and I heard if you screw it up, you may lose your entire game.

OMG! I'm so sorry Presence! I really love a lot of folks' characters, and it was confusing to keep track of them all. Thank you everyone for the advice, and I"ll post pictures of the changes as soon as I can get them.
@YH: Oh, please don't be upset! Again, I haven't seen a bad character in this thread yet, but I didn't want to take up a whole page to comment on them all. ^^
