Well folks, it's summer time and I'm ready to start working on morphs again. I've been looking at all the designs the last month or so and have seen some really amazing stuff. To everyone, I want to say keep up the great work, but I will comment on a few of the most recent ones.
First of all, I feel that the Leliana comparison deserves praise for each artist. All of you have interpretted one of my favorite video game characters of all time, each capturing the essence of what really makes her the kind of woman she is when you meet here. And rather than having you all hear, "X is my favorite", I believe it would be more constructive if I briefly comment on each design:
Leliana Analysis:@ Y.H.'s Leliana: Very intriguing interpretation. She has the look of weariness in her eyes and a deep-seeded need for redemption, while simultaneously still showing her beauty. Excellent work.
--
@ VirusCat's Leliana: Very nice adaptation of the original design. You took what was an amazing character with a generic face and gave her the right spark that she needed without going over the top. Her inner bard/rogue shines in your interpretation. The design is very much your style and I think it's very well-crafted.
--
@Orion's Leliana: I enjoyed your version quite a bit. This version embodies both spectrums of the character. Her outer beauty, her inner pain, her seductive nature, etc. With bluer eyes and the custom "Leliana" hairstyle, I would wager this morph would be used over the one I currently play with.
--
@Noir's Leliana: Different in many ways from the traditional Leliana, your morph is beautiful in every way. I find many similarities to Morigan in the structural aspect of your interpretation, which isn't a bad thing, but I wonder if the two girls would blend in a little too much if this Leliana was used. Regardless, I think you made a bold move in the designing of this character, and she came out wonderfully gorgeous and you should be proud.
--
@Mochen's Leliana: This character just screams Mochen excellence. I cannot tell if it's just the screenshot, but the way your character is looking is so seductive and so Leliana. She is very primped and "frenchie" and it's a wonderful design. I do have a hard time with the hair color change, but that's just personal preference of the character.
--
@LNL's Leliana: You did an excellent job with this morph. First thing that caught my eye was that I don't believe I've ever seen that hairstyle (unless my eyes are deceiving me or it's a default style that I've overlooked or forgotten). Anyhoo, I like the technical design of the character, but I feel as if the tattoo and the general nature of her eyes make her appear a little sinister for my liking. Once again this may just be my interpretation of one screenshot. But all in all I think it's a great morph that you put a lot of heart into.

(whoops, that was really long! Sorry guys I'll try to wrap this up shortly!)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
@Caparzon: Kral is a very rough and tough Cousland! He looks so much like a warrior, almost as if he was bread purely for battle! Very Ancient Spartan-esque! I'm afraid he's going pillage my town and eat my first born!
Beltaine is very cool as well, although I believe only his avatar and the first screenshot really do him justice. A lot of the shots in the Magi origin portray the character with squinted eyes and furrowed brow. Never a very fun place to take screenshots (causes a lot of problems with already squinty eyes) and it takes a way from (what I imagine to be) the very playful nature of this character. Would love to see more pictures of him!
--
@Tyrax: Chase is looking pretty nice man! Only suggestion I could make is maybe lower his chin a bit to even out the features. Very strong work using the toolset!
--
@Noir: Ellie is... WOW... very mystical and beautiful. I feel as if she's a seductress trying to lead my hero astray! She has some elven features to her, although I'd imagine she's human. I really like her confident stance in her screenshot. She seems like a very strong woman. Very beautiful character, love the white hair. and an overall fantastic job!

Okay, now my turn. You've seen him a million times, but I revamped him (hopefully for the last time!) Special thanks to Mochen for combing through my various designs and helping me improve the original design. Let me know what you think of Everus's latest redux:

(EDIT: And because I don't like the lighting in these shots, here's a toolset shot:)

Thanks for reading, sorry for the length!
