The Character Show Off

lolmg, Alistair played by some guy off of an Aaron Spelling show! Marvel at his perfectly-plucked manbrows!
@ Eucatastrophe:
DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE... give that dwarf lady MORE JAW! Right now she looks like Velanna shapeshifted into a dwarf.
Especially if you're going for "austere dwarven noble-lady", a solid matronly jawline would lend her needed gravitas. Dwarves and triangle-faces do not mix.
Oh, and squint her eyes somewhat, to give her that serious, calculating look.

@Caladhiel
I think you caught the "not-too-nice, nasty guy" look with your dalish very well! I wouldn't want to stray close to the dalish camp when he's on the lookout...
@Tattercloak
Your new version of the Dalish rogue is a huge improvement, the proportions are very good now, nice work..
To be honest, I still think the proportions are a bit off on the city elf rogue. I think her eyes are a bit too far apart to look good with the narrow mouth and thin chin... Or maybe the chin and mouth are too narrow to fit the eye positioning. Anyway, her face does look a bit unbalanced to my eyes, somehow I get the feeling that the upper and lower part of her face don't match together. I hope you don't mind my "point-blank" feedback.
@Extra Letters
Your latest elf lady version is looking great. I can't really say what I'd tweak about her... Nice, modest look.
@mightmagix
Damn! Very good work with your Gilmore-guy. Kind of boy-like, inexperienced look to him.

@Mlai00 lol honestly I didn't use any reference to remake them xcept bioware original face. My Alistair should retain his nose and strong jawline. But really I find him the most spectacular character ingame (for female...ahem) during conversations mostly. But thank you again.
@Presence Gilmore was hardenup eventhough he is in early game. I think he should look on his early 20's not baby-face. But for all the same I enjoy using this preset, or maybe even enjoyable if you use Gilmore companion mod. Btw I really like your Minsc.
@yasuraka.hakkyou I agree. But theres something missing I suppose. Maybe I should tweak him more.

could use a little show off in this thread. Got a few more pictures of him
in this Tough Looking Thread:

Just for fun... He was suppose to be in Tough Looking Thread. I hope for the real Duncan from Dracomies. Maybe in version 7.0?

Anyway compared to yours my girl might as well be a troll.
I'll post her anyway for some feedback but she's kind of stylized. She's not meant to look like a real person. Anyway, here's my city elf, Fallon.

@VirusCat Heh, the latest version of the Dalish rogue doesn't look quite as relaxed (he's gone from gloomy to a bit pissed-off).

Key changes were eye texture, distance between eyes reduced, and slightly-wider chin.

Superficially, the main change was to his eyebrows but I wound up starting from scratch for his nose. The character looked alright from the front but wound up looking a bit odd in profile (the screenshots unfortunately don't illustrate this very well. The main objective was making him look a bit angrier (considering the Dalish origin, it seemed appropriate).

Mainly lowered his eyebrows so hopefully he doesn't look quite as surprised and minor modifications to his cheek and nose. Changed his eye texture to a darker one as he had the same one as the city elf rogue.
@mightmagix I have to say that I like the human noble you made a fair bit. I just wish that male characters had better options for haircuts (there are some decent ones but more than a few that I'll avoid). Your Duncan replacement may not be exactly what I envision for Duncan (I do kind of like the default) but works very well for a veteran Grey Warden (although to be honest, I've never been crazy about that tattoo for any of the characters I've encountered in-game but that's a matter of personal taste and preference). He might look pretty badass with the trailer warden tattoo but I don't know if that's gotten to the point where it's over-used yet
@yasuraka.hakkyou It's hard to tell from the lighting of your first screenshot but I was a bit hesitant to go overboard with the glossy lips right off the bat. I actually used the normal base skins as a base and Dracomies' skins as blending options at first in order to get the white teeth mod to work properly (kept it at 50% on the blend all override slider). Since the latest version of the textures were released, I went back and used the glossy lips skins as a base (still kept it at 50% on the blend all override slider for my Dalish warrior). I'm probably a bit too cautious in that regard.
@AtomRobot87 That's a pretty badass-looking Spartacus. Good work overall and maybe raise the eyebrows just a bit to match the pic you posted of the actor. I only watched a part of the first episode and wasn't entirely sure whether or not I wanted to continue watching it but your character does look quite cool.

for your first elf, my eyes are still drawn to the jaw, it pops out too much with its angular-ness (IMO). it could also be the thin neck. Dalish: YH approves +5, I don't think I could personally go with a non-dalish tat, but he's good. for the last guy, his head seems a little too ovular to me. my guess would be to up the chin some.

Hey thanks <3
I think I know what you, LadyAly, and VirusCat are getting at... she looks too human! <_< (Or a Velanna dwarf-fied!)
And too conventionally beautiful IMO.
I think I have her idea in my head, but I need to try some other stuff! Anyways, enough of me spamming this thread with not-dorf-looking-dorf

LOL a stoner elf. Party on dudes!
@ Telemachos:
I wonder what you consider a zoom-out shot.
@ Tattercloak:

This chara needs a serious re-do. Face too long. Complexion too old without looking authoritative/deep. Nose seemingly too fat, yet shouldn't be. She just needs a lot, imo.

I like him as much as I don't like her! Everything about DEM v.5 is just great; if I was playing DEM he'd be a preset I'd want to use. I like the use of that eyebrow on a man (and it works). I like his cheekbones. I like the corners of his mouth, how it makes that line continuing from his cheekbones.

And this guy takes the prize because v.3 reminds me of Ralf Moeller. I saw v.3's face and immediately the man's face popped into my head, along with his "big guy" accent, and I spent the next half hour mentally trying to place where I've seen him LOL.

Yeah, the big guy in Gladiator.
