Great shots. I'd say that I find her eyes to be a little too high up, and I think she would look good in a darker lipstick-color. But overall it's a solid design :3
Cobain looks great ;D Yeah.. the longer heaistyles does look really odd on males, sadly.

Tried to make something just for showing off-purposes. This is Zhen. Yes, she's inspired by asian women in some way.. but the toolset is pretty racist so it's hard to make something asian-ish look good. Aaaanyway. Zhen means "precious, rare", "real, true" or "chaste, pure" if I can trust my sources and is a chinese name.
She's pretty rare, isn't she?

Wow I only just found this thread and my gosh alot of the characters here are so gorgeous, I would comment on them but obviously alot of them are pretty far back...I'd also like to apologize in advance for the length of my post that's about to come, I am unfortunately, an altoholic...and great lover of messing around with character creation lol, sowwy...

Also I know it says no spoliers allowed on the forum, but since I have written a tiny bit of character background for each I should probably warn that although very minor there are SPOILERS AHEAD...you have been warned >.<

Ok so, I wanted to be sad and nerdy and share with you guys all my Dragon Age characters so far...most of them I haven't particularly started playing the game with yet (so the majority are just in crappy starter gear), I just made them because I love to spend hours messing around with the chargen xD And I will probably edit the post frequently because I'm always making more characters on a regular basis. So far I've made only females, but I might make a few males to drool over

The first character I ever made, so she doesn't have any special look because I didn't use a single mod on my first playthrough :3 Her name is Lumia and she is an Elven Mage, mainly specializing in Lightning and Ice Elemental magic:


 

Next is Laelia, she is a Dalish Archer mainly specializing in rapid shooting:



 

Next is Mnemes, she is evil incarnate, a Blood Mage and an Evoker. She cares about no-one but herself and her motto is there no slaughter without laughter:




 

Next up is Lirum, a Dalish Spirit Healer, she is very shy and quiet and has devoted her life to helping those less fortunate than herself:




 

Now we come to Kanonno, a sweet little City Elf, she is an incredibly skilled Theif but only out of necessity. She is usually quite pleasant natured but if anyone she cares for is threatened then she can become ice cold and deadly, as she will stop at nothing to make sure those dearest to her come to no harm, her friends and family mean alot to her:





 

Here we have Kurou, a withdrawn and secretive Vampire who is skilled in the arts of Blood Magic, she is not evil however, she merely practices the arts so that she can better understand her hunger for blood. Although she is quite reserved she is a very dependable character who won't let her allies down:


 

Next is Mormo, a young Dwarven Commoner, despite being Casteless and living in squalor her spirits are always high, she wields Twin Hatchets which she tends to swing around clumsily, often causing many an accident. She tends to make friends easily because of her cute and bubbly nature:


 

This next character is Lael, an Elven Shapeshifter. She is almost always silent, a mysterious woman who likes to spend most of her time alone or running with the wolves who she believes are her true family:




 

Next in the list is Xenobia, a fierce and loyal Warrior woman of Cousland nobility. She much prefers to talk with her huge Greatsword and her fists than with words, very much the strong silent type; however after meeting Alistair and seeing his reaction after the battle at Ostagar, she has been keeping an eye on him, becoming softened slowly, hoping that one day she will be able to find the words to comfort him:




 

Now we have Aeyr, a Blind Seer, who despite her slightly creepy appearance is actually a very gentle and caring soul. She is a Spirit Healer who also has the ability to Summon spirits and animals from the Fade and from around her to aid her in battle in many different ways. Her past is a mystery to all, even Aeyr herself, as she awoke in the Circle Tower with no memory whatsoever, she doesn't even know how she came to lose her own sight:




 

Next we have Creve, Demonic Servant of the evil spirits of the Fade. Some believe she is possessed while others think she does evils bidding of her own free will, whatever the case may be she is a formidable opponent, skilled in Blood Magic and Necromancy. She is known for her tendancy never to show mercy, not even to children:




 

Now for a (kind of) special treat xD This next character is Cody (meee yaaay ) I decided to try and make a character that looked as close to me in real life as possible and this is the end result. Obviously I don't have a perfect body (though I wish I did T_T) so it's more of a kind of perfected version of me xD Cody is a Dualist of the noble Cousland family, betrothed to Teyrn Loghain at a young age, as she grew up her relationship with her parents and Loghain were strained, due to pressure on her families side, for the marriage to take place as soon as she became of age. Loghain too was reluctant as he still mounred the death of his beloved wife each day, and was concerned about his age, as he was much older than Cody. Despite her becoming a Grey Warden, Cody and Loghain managed to nurture their feelings for eachother, which eventually blossomed into true love, resulting in their marriage occuring during the landsmeet. With Loghain as King of Ferelden and Cody at his side as Queen, the Archdemon was defeated after Alistair made the ultimate sacrifice, deciding that his life was no longer worth living. The blight had ended and Ferelden prospered in the years after with it's new King and Queen. (Not how the story goes I know...but that's how it goes in my head dammit >.<):


 

Now it's Teyla's turn. A cocky City Elf who likes to get drunk and starts fights whenever possible, despite her disruptive behaviour she is a loyal friend to those with a good cause and also a skilled Pickpocket:



 

Lastly we come to Syyru...who I actually deleted xD she was going to be a Dalish Spirit Healer but I replaced her with Kanonno instead :


 

I also got fed up of how Zevran looked...I didn't like it at all >.<" I also couldn't find any mods on the net that I was happy with so I made my own head for him...I'm not entirely convinced that I even like this but meh I can tweak bits and change it around still I suppose:

I'm deeply sorry if this is too long, has too many pictures, the pictures are too big or anything like that, tell me if they are and I can try and change anything >.< I did plan to add more characters to it as I make them but if that's a problem then just say so, I won't mind
Also if anyone wanted me to list any or all of the mods that I have installed for use in character generation then please say so and I'll try and write up a list

Ever played the Mage Origin? Everyone looks like that in the first scenes. I may snap a few "normal" pics later if I decide to play through the Origin with her. Without the frown and squint. But I like the frown and squint personally ^^

@Viruscat Hey good job on Zhen, from what I gathered making asian characters from some reason or another can be quite taxing. I like how you didn't go for a blatantly asian look with eyes that are harshly slanted and I don't mind a little frowning. I just take it as she has alot on her mind lol.

@Aviena First of all you're a saint for posting cutie dwarfs because we lack those so around here(Although Sigmur and Trina are holding the fort lol), I already like the way you think lol. Dwarfs just have so much personality without trying to me. I can see "Rica's little sister" written all over your first dwarf's face there, very nice. I also must say that your last design is very fitting for a Dalish elf, I think you captured that get the job done, dutiful look very well.

Edit: @Loria Doh, you snuck in and posted while I was mid post! Very interesting Cocoa flavored elf you have there, would seem that the Dalish aren't be so standoffish as of late. The white hair and face paint gives alot of contrast  against her skin, concept like that brings Storm from x-men to mind lol. Oh and that 2nd to last picture is sexy, just thought I'd make a note of that

Sorry about the broken/non making sense at the start of my first post, I rushed it before going to walk the dogs and forgot that this forum doesn't like some of the smilies I often use...therefore resulting in a loss of half of the text I wrote at the beginning xD Also when I tried to edit it...it wouldn't let me change anything *sigh*

What I was actually trying to say was, I only just found this thread and wished I'd seen it sooner because so many of the characters here are completely gorgeous and just pure amazing to look at; if I had been looking from the start then I could of commented but now alot of the stuff is far back T_T

I was also trying to apologize in advance for the long post I was about to make, saying that I am an altoholic and have an addiction to messing around with character generation on many games, it was like a dream come true for me when I got Dragon Age and the toolset xD

Avatar: I like, but I would suggest rounding out the face a bit more. dwarves tend to look better with round faces IMO.

Will comment onpeople's designs later, just a little lost atm. Remaking the dwarven Origins now, and created 2 testchars since I have to try out my redesigned NPCs... and I made sure to make 2 I really liked.

One is my old little fav, Skadi the Casteless. The other is a redesigned old version of Skadi, now named Gerdr. Better pics will probably come since I have to play them anyway

@Yasu Thanks though I think I will keep the face shape as is, that is just the look I was going for. Just fishing for some contrast the same way that you'd give an elf a broad jawline when they naturally have slender faces, thinking outside the box of course.

@Virus Those are two pretty peerless dwarfs from my point of view, looks like alot of time went into both for sure. They both fit their corresponding origins well also. Makes me curious as to how your dwarf origin remake will turn out.

@Drewj1988 That particular hairstyle can be a bit tempermental to work with, it's mainly because it's really flat and volumeless. It's been combed down and it really hugs the characters face, as such I'd suggest rounding the character's face a bit more longer faces work really great for short hairstyles but medium length styles like that tend to look alot nicer if the face is more rounded out. I used the hairstyle for my blood mage Anabelle





Her chin is drawn up a bit more but the jaw slider is not narrowed much, I think this tends to fill out the hairstyle so to speak since big gaps between the hair and the face tend to make it look like a character is wearing a wig or something. That's just my thoughts on using hairstyles from that particular set.

I based Aeithal off of anora's head, cobain was based off of king cailens head heh.



Cobain did sing rape me, but it was to a darkspawn and i think he was too literal.. I never seen a darkspawn sob, then walk away funny.
