@ Tyrax Lightning: I dig the rotating ball of Ghoulia awesomeness! I definitely can't wait to see more of your toolset creations :D

@ LadyAly: I really like your latest morph. She's well done - especially when taken into account that only the CC was used. I think you managed to capture a general likeness of your inspiration model. I also like that she's a deviation from the "normal", insomuch as she's probably the first Middle-Eastern inspired morph that I've seen (granted I'm relatively new to this forum).

@ Zeleen: A nice CC creation. My only qualm with your design is the eyeshadow. The rest of her face seems to be devoid of make-up, giving her more a tomboyish look; so, the heavy eyeshadow looks out of place. I would suggest giving her a more muted, natural shade around her eyes. Merely, a suggestion though.

Also, what mod are the braided pigtails from? I don't think I've ever seen them before - they're great!

 @Zeleen - If you get a chance, post some in game screenies.  Sometimes CC shots don't do the character justice.  It looks like you got a good foundation there, and the hairstyle with the whole look makes me think Norwegian for some reason.

She does doesn't she...  makes me wanna say "Yah sure"   he he Posted Image... thanks it'll be a bit before she sees some action but I wil post some.  Thanks for the input.   I do have the toolset but am new at this sort of thing.. it actually intimidates me!

First time posting in this part of the forum, here.

Katt is super cute!  Yesh, that's a tongue twister.  I disagree about the makeup, I actually like what you've done with the eyes.  I think she'd be a little too plain with a more neutral shade.  Just my opinion though.  Like the hair too, thanks for the link.

@ ELE08: Looks like the full view of the screens you've provided are sufficient for me ;) I like her. Your whole composition is really nice. Her face is well-proportioned (and I really like her nose). But, I think the thing I like the most is your color palette. Her pale skin, her dark hair and eyes, her relatively muted and natural make-up, and even her white, flowing outfit all compliment each other really well. I'm also partial to more realsitic morphs, so I think this is excellent.

@ Wyldsong - Thanks for the feedback on Svetlana. Hmm, plain you say? Is that just regarding the lack of make-up? or her facial features? I wanted to give her a very pure and natural kind of beauty. Whilst sort of attempting a russian/east european feel. Oh well, guess it didn't quite work.

@ ELE08 - In that first screenshot she looks very sophisticated. Which is amazing considering her hairstyle!! I really like her. She is charming.

@ Relshar - Nice designs, I particularly like the second one. Yes what is that outfit?

@ Zeleen - Wow! I love that look. She seems very young and innocent.

Yay! more hairstyles, thanks tmp7704 :) ... and I will join the fun poking I think! haha

It's funny actually, I really didn't like this hair until I made this character and it seemed to fit her face.

Thanks to everyone for their feedback :)

Thanks for the hair mod! It adds a whole lot more spice to Dragon Age!

Loving those pigtails and the fact you added Jaheira hairstyle hair for human women now!

Here's my old elfy sporting a new hairdo from tm7004's Tucked Hair mod! :happy:

Finally I can actually comment on things properly, this thread seems to advance so quickly it's hard to keep up.

@Swoo Your character is fantastic I can't give any advice on how to improve him that other's haven't already well done indeed!

@Mochen Good to see new stuff from you! Svetlana (I feel like I've heard that name before) looks great, the eyebrows however are a bit strong for me. It's a shame that really only the regular eyebrow shape is actually good, the others are difficult to work with or just plain bad.

@LadyAly Wow that woman has the biggest eyes I've ever seen on a human being! The toolset really struggles with any ethnicity that isn't Western European, and the CC struggles with making people look like real people. Dispite these limitations I think you did a good job.

@Zeleen I've seen Katt before ;) I'm sure between here and the Leliana thread I'll have plenty of chances to help you along with the toolset.

@Relshar Okay with the new picture I can give some better advice but they're sill pretty low res (500x400) using tinypic or another image hosting service to upload really high resolution screenshots can help others give feedback. The first thing I notice is that her face is very long but her jaw is pretty thin, if you are going to reduce the jaw slider and narrow the jaw you usually have to bring the chin and eventually mouth upwards. Without this compensation the jaw line gets very 'bumpy' for lack of a better term, she seems to have this very bumpy jaw line and I think she'd look a bit better if you tried to blend the chin and jaw together a bit more. Other than that I think she looks really good.

@ELE08 Your spirit healer looks fantastic, I'm surprised the hair works as well as it does you've really managed to get the most out of it! From your higher res pics the only thing that stikes me as a potential concern are her eyes they seem a little on the large side, using the cornea debug slider you can reduce the size of Dracomies eye texture then you can reduce the eyes without it looking like the cornea and pupils are unaturally large. I love that she has a longer face, it's so well done that I wouldn't change a thing.

@Ele08

Well done! That hairstyle from DWBH is hard to pull off but your design did it very well. I would also agree with adneate, adjust the setting for cornea just a smidgen. If you are using the toolset, go to section 6, Debug Cornea Larger/Smaller. Make it about -.20.

I messed up on some of the eyes so some of them start out bigger, some of them start out smaller and some of them are aligned correctly. So you need to play around with Debug cornea larger/smaller to make em work.

Other than that, proportions are spot-on! And it looks realistic too. Great work!

I'm pretty happy that more and more folks are starting to use DT
textures. I am making a truckload of new ones for version 7.2 and fixing
errors from the ones in 7.1.  :happy:

@Petehog Did you hear about the new Leliana DLC, it takes place back in Orlais and covers her betrayal by Marjolaine. They've got a younger looking Leliana morph for the DLC, since I really like your Leliana version 11 I thought I might suggest the idea of maybe tweaking your own work to make a younger Leliana. Regardless I'm sure this DLC will provide many more potential redesign candidates than the Darkspawn Chronicles did.

@ Mochen: I'm sorry, I totally meant to comment on Svetlana, but completely forgot. I think she's wonderful! I think it really says something when a female morph can stand on its own without the aid of make-up. Yours definitely does that! Also, Ms. Pigtails is very nice. I really like the hair color :P

@ Petehog: Wow, you know, I actually think I prefer the blonde hair on your elf.

P.S. I'm looking forward to those eyes!

@adneate

That would be freaking awesome! I would totally get that DLC!
To be honest, I was disappointed with Darkspawn Chronicles.

I am a sucker because I have every DLC and expansion pack. If I had to rank them, it would be as follows:

1. Dragon Age Awakening=Stone Prisoner (Shale)
2. Warden's Keep>Return To Ostagar
3. Darkspawn Chronicles

But Leliana is one of my favorite characters in Dragon Age. To be honest....she sort of sucks in terms of usefulness but I always put her in my party because of that French accent. And she had the most interesting dialogue. And I'm happy that Bioware is doing this. I will definitely take a look at it for sure. I get a kick out of redesigning characters. I hope they add more than they did compared to Darkspawn Chronicles. It's a bit tougher with DLCs since there are no .MRH files for DLCs, but it's fun because I enjoy the challenge of making faces from scratch. I will definitely take a looksy. I'd have to see what age they place Leliana at. I hope they don't disappoint.

@Schratty

Thanks! It's so crazy how hair color and hairstyles can actually change a face.
