@ VirusCat: This, VirusCat, THIS! Awesome! She's beautiful while still looking like she could crack skulls with ease. Love it! I really like the dark eyes, too. Man, everyone is on their A-game these days.

@ mightmagix: I like your mage. She looks too benevolent to be a blood mage, so I would suggest a "friendly" type of magic for her...if that helps you narrow it down a bit ;) I'm especially partial to the more natural look, so your mage definitely appeals to me on that level as well! As for the eyes, I agree with VirusCat, you might want to consider tweaking their size. Overall, though, a solid design, for sure!

Regarding Steffi, thank you so much! I've included a few extra screens, as per your request :D

I couldn't help myself. I thought my Alistair morph looked really handsome in this one, so I kept him in the shot :3

That it does :) Oh, and I'm totally digging the influx of blonde. Beautiful work!

Just wait until you release those eyes and (hopefully) those tattoos. Then, I will drive everyone on this forum crazy ;)

Yeah, the new tmp7704 hairstyle really adds a lot of spice to the game!

One of the things I'm looking to fix..with respect to the new eyes is BLUE eyes. I think my other blue eyes needed a lot of work. So that's one thing I am fixing.

LadyAly wrote...

@Petehog What armor you and mochen using on the  females there ? 3 weeks and such a lot of changing...
And please you can *swarm* the thread with your work - I don't care... and why you cant show female tattoos ?? *makes a innocent face*
Your dwarf looking murderous meanie  in the screenshot, btw  - love it

The armor is here:
http://www.dragonage...ile.php?id=1058

And...ha ha..I can't show female body tattoos on this forum...because the tattoo goes across a woman's naked body... Ha ha.

characters I've seen out of you.

Thanks Yasuraka!

@Petehog The blonde elf is beautiful. I can imagine she will look very
mystical in any situation ingame as an NPC. I have a few elf done using
the toolset but I'm not sure I'm ready to post them. Still need more
tweaking. Good luck on Redesigned 7.2, can't wait for your mods.

Thanks! Not exactly which NPC to put her under though. I'm guessing Velanna, but she looks a bit too friendly for that role.

Elves do take some time to get down. Male elves especially but once you get the hang of it, it all comes together.

7.2 should be coming soon. I don't want to put a date out there as they do make me stress for no reason. But it should be out soon. It's going to fix a lot of things, add some new textures, add some other features which will make all of Bioware's characters look much more realistic. They go beyond face "tweaking" as I really like to keep the spirit of Bioware designs but I like to be creative and make things my way.

I have seen some realy nice elven females. All mine seem to have a boxy type of face with some serious brow problems.

Thanks to all who commented on my latest designs. I really appreciate the feedback.

@ adneate - Sibylla is a cool design. She has quite a big face, but the feature are very nicely positioned. She's pretty. Good stuff!

@ axekix - I like him, he remins me of a brazilian footballer (Maybe i've been watching the world cup too much lately!!)

@ petehog - That girl you posted is really pretty! Wow! she's a fantastic piece of work! The body tattoo's look interesting. I'd like to give them a try.

@ Noir - Lovely design! She looks a bit like your avatar. She has nice big baby eyes. very cute!!

@ mightmagix - She's cute. It's hard to find anything wrong with her face. Good job.

@ Viruscat - Ahh I don't think I can take the dwarf master crown just yet. Hargrim is only one design... all your dwarves are excellent! Vinh is an amazing character! What a cool look :) I like her a lot, and she really stands out!

@ Schratty - I really like Steffi, she is so sweet. I love her soft round features. She almost has a baby face. Great work!

@ Drewj1988 - I like all those deisgns, but Lyna stands out above the others. She is quite unique looking. You made the hairstyle work well.

@Schratty
Oh dear, what compliments O: Thanks alot!
I agree! That Ali-pic was awesome :3 Steffi is really cute.

@drewj1988
Only thing that bothers me with Faren is his human-ish appearance.
I really prefer it when dwarves are all "puffy" and have rounder features. It's a personal thing I guess. Otherwise - I love that he's imperfect. His jutting chin and that nose bridge.. yay, awesome.
Darrian's tat-color really looks bad in some lighting, but beside that he's a good looking elf.
Be careful not to overuse the Lyna/Kallian-looking face. I'd move Lyna's nose up a bit and also make her irises smaller to fit the eyes better, but if you're happy then she's a solid design anyway ^^

@mochen
Bah, I just make simple tweaks, you make something MORE than that. You make cool personal chars. So here's the crown ;)

So.
On another note, a little bummed over the "0 downloads"-text on my new NPC remakes. I released new versions of Leliana and Morrigan which were much more true to the mod's intentions. And it's been hours now with no single little testdownload T_T

Petehog: female tats - it's not like we're under 18, here (I'd imagine). maybe just post links to pics, with a big NSFW warning?

VirusCat: at least you can get morphs working for other people. *grumble*

That may be because for some reason it didn't show up on the "updated recently" list yet. Now that i look closer the list didn't yet advance past yesterday, maybe there's something glitchy going with the nexus Posted Image

can't wait for release...question though, would those show up under armors and such?

second pic reminds me of Family Guy: "How 'bout that side boob? Does that turn ya on? Well it shouldn't, cause that's my side boob. Good night everybody!"

Well, obviously you can't...^_^

how do you tweak if your character is in game??

If you're using a morph generated in the toolset, you just have to manipulate your savegame once and whenever you update it from the toolset, the changes will also take place in-game.
If you're using presets or the in-game character creator then your options are much more limited, and you should really consider installing it (troubleshooting a common install error here).

@Axe You know what I spend more time jumping back between the toolset and the game then I do playing the actual game!

@Schratty Actually it's bk1 eye make-up tint, however you sorta picked up on why I like. When set at low values it has a dynamic quality about it and it catches the coloured lighting of the various enviroments very well. It's a great choice for fairly light make-up designs.

@VirusCat Vinh's very unique she definetly looks chasind good work VirusCat.

@Mochen Thank you! Sibylla is a warrior and a two-handed warrior at that so I figured that she should look a bit more physically powerful. She should be in heavy or massive armor but I don't actually have a female Warrior game on the go right now so I stuck her head on my tiny little rogue, which probably wasn't an ideal match.

Ha ha. Family Guy is a hilarious show.

It wouldn't show up under armor. Although if people wanted it to, I could make it work.

@VirusCat Vinh is awesome sauce... one of the best mod you made. Chasind fits her - beautiful and dangereous - with a lot of temper - Gawd I do love her!
@Schratty Steffi is so cute and fresh - this both screens you made are very good.
@Petehog - Well - Tattoo for the mature folk plz ;P Looks pretty stunning  :D

@drewji Again excellent work - even if the dwarf looks in my opinion to human - but thats personal taste. Lyna is exquisite -

Played this evening a bit with Daireen Cousland, rebel and rogue - here some screenshots. She is still for me a *Show-Off* (( click for the full view ))

@ LadyAly: Thank you! I'm digging the fiery redhead. Very nice ;) The toolset won't work for you?! Oh no! That's a shame :(

@ Zeleen: You should be able to alter it by doing the following:

Open your .mrh with the toolset

Export it as a .mor

Place the .mor file into My Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/modules/Single Player/override

Go back to your toolset and open your character's .das file (you can find that in My Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/Characters/(Your Character's Name)/Saves/(Slot #)/(Character's Name).das )

Once you have the .das file open, expand SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR > SAVEGAME PLAYERCHAR_CHAR > SAVEGAME_APPEARANCE > SAVEGAME_APPEARANCE_MORPH_NAME and click over on the Value column

Type in your .mor file's name (ex: ef_Neria)

Save the file

Load your saved game in Dragon Age

Voila!

I don't have to put the .mor in my override, personally. Unless exporting it does that. w/e

LadyAly: Daireen's lipstick is a little overpowering, but that's it really. good character. Giggity.

Petehog: have you seen the episode with Quagmire's dad? good stuff. I'd say make it work under armor, but what is there that would actually show it? morrigan style robes maybe, and modded armors (that VirusCat hates :P), but I can't think of anything else. hmm. the leather armors I guess...

wasn't someone complaining about eyebrows recently? or was I imagining it?

Schratty: all I have to do is right click and export (or w/e the option is), and edit the .das file.
