@Mochen I don't know if i've said it before but i'm seriously digging this pitfall of hardcore bad assedness that your design have began to plummet into. I took a small detour from that look with Sylvia but that is definitely very appealing to me! Warrior women that make men feel inadequate, very nice lol
@Yasu Your fallen rose is a cool design, the face tat is subtle enough to not draw too much attention but enough to make her look unique. Also your dalish elf looks very studious and possibly pragmatic.
@Mightmagix That's a good well rounded looking design you have going there and the tat works for me, adds some distinction.
@Schratty I've noticed something about alot of your designs and I don't really know how to word it other than saying they are very scrattified lol. They have this scrattyness to them that gives them their originality, I'm seeing the scrattiness alot in your elf 2v3. I like tweaks that you made.
@Noir For me if it isn't a particular theme or personality for a design that catches my attention it is a certain facial feature that makes a character stand out and for Jen I'd have to say that I like her nose. It is very sharp and gives alot of definition to her face. I also think it suits the shape of her face as well.
@Zeleen I like both looks but I favor your remake i'd say. I think that combination of hair and eyes makes her look young and spunky
@ Tyrax your latest elven lass here is amusing and very blue! lol You certainly don't cease to entertain, should be interesting to see what other concepts you'll come up with

Ariel's lookin better!
Caladhiel: Many thanks for the aid! I struggle at making lookers in the CC, so I knew I was gonna need backup at making lookers in the Toolset. Some of the adjustment options for some of the features still feels clumsy & awkward to me, hence why I need this practice, especially Noses. I always have trouble with Noses, because Nose beauty technique is not as plain to me as the Nose on my Face.
marquiseondore: The Wynne/M combo's hilarious!
Schratty: I'm still a novice at Noses, many thanks! I was having trouble trying to find the sweet spot for the Chin too, so i'm glad for that feedback as well from everyone.
yasuraka.hakkyou: I'm not sure if the Nostrils can afford to get any wider on an Elf, but i'm willing to give it a try.
AvatarHunter: Many thanks! My favorite color irl is Blue, so I can dig Blue Haired Gals!
I knew I was gonna need all the practice I could get at looker making. I need to finish Salona & Ghoulia's Logs, then after that, i'm considering making a Dalish Female for my Dalish playthrough, so I need to power up my Toolset Force in preparation for that eventuality. Also perhaps a Human Male. I'm pondering on if I could build a Qunari Morph & put it into a Human Noble Preset to make a Human Noble with a Dwayne Johnson (aka The Rock, or the Scorpion King!) Body instead of the Human Noble's balance between muscle & agility. What RPG is complete without a huge tough guy? It would be cool if I could do this, but I can't help but to wonder if a Qunari Morph trying to go through the Human Noble Origin would end up a huge bugfest for BioWare to laugh at?

@ AvatarHunter: Thank you...I think
@ Tyrax Lightning: No worries. Although, it goes a long way if you look at a character in-game as you tinker with the design. I usually just temporarily import the .mor file into a pre-exisiting save. I know more than once, I've looked at a toolset morph and said "Yeah!" and then looked at in-game and said "NO!!!" Haha. Just an additonal suggestion

Anyway
@Zeleen : Okay overall I like the ay Ariel looks, somewhat girlish, or rather child-like, in her appearence, yet a faint smile and bright pure eyes that hide... sorrow ? or dedication ?
I'd say Ariel's nose bridge and neck look a good bit too thin for her own sake. This effect is reinforced by here eyes that are fairly far from each other and the nose. Generally, you want the innermost part of the eye to be *roughly* aligned with the outermost part of the nostril. Personally, I kinda preferred the old version : longer chin making the jaw rounder, rounder eye shape.
@Tyrax : not too fond of overlapping tatoos, and you should probably remove them entirely for now so you can vizualize the whole face. Now the big problem is the whole jaw area looks very narrow and the chin very pointy. There's room for customization of course but here it looks kinda freakish. Also, I'm not sure what you did to the ears but they kinda look like typical goblin ears, maybe try with more elf ear shape and less outward ? Overall, stay far away from extreme values on most of the geometry-related sliders. Eyes and nose look alright, I wouldn't touch that for now that will be fine-tuning.
@ZephSunstrider : Overall, in the future, it would help if you could provide somewhat more up-close shots of your characters.
Bartoc: I like the design as a whole (Duncan might have had an epic beard, but it's his hair that serves us the most
Natlya: red tatoo, red eyes.. purple lipstick ? Personally, I'm not at all against fantasist eye colors, but somehow I get the feeling that an ice cold or on the contrary, dark eye color would suit her better. And again, the tatoo and lipstick's bright, saturated and opaque colors look off to me.
Setesh : Yep, looks good and I think the eye color works better on him than it does on Natalya, maybe because of the darker skin, or maybe it's just the angle and facial expression. But again, damn bright red tatoo !
@Noir201 :
Carrie : Overall there's a couple of things that put me off around the eye part and this tends to impact the whole thing : the hair gets in the way of the eyes but that's a detail. Pure black eyebrows on pale blond hair.. well it's an acceptable combination but I think things work better if the eyebrows and stubble are no more than two tones darker than the hair color. Ken masters only appears in cartoon-esque artwork. Now the eyes themselves : the eye size may or may not be ok, but it looks like the irises are quite a bit too large and it looks unnatural.
ose: there's a small area between the tip and the bridge that looks strangely narrow, you might get rid of it by thickening the bridge or toning whatever nose shape you're using, but it's a detail. Jaw/mouth area looks fine, reasonably big lips for a seductress ? or a cute character ?
Jenny : hmm that's an intersting design, she's got a somewhat longer face than average, which is uncommon, but it doesn't look unnatural. Of course she has the same body as evryone, but this face wouldn't look off on a very tall woman, which is fitting for a warrior I guess. Okay, now the teeth are an obvious problem but I think you already fixed it, and the problem with using too much 'thin face' is you need to compensate for it by putting the cheek bones inward, otherwise they are way too prominent. Eyes look fierce but feminine and the long nose looks right although another shot from a different angle would help, the nose might be a little too thin. I like the color scheme, simple but efficient, and tmp's hair mod shines on this face. With a bit of tweaking I tinnk you've got something very solid here.
@Schratty : Elf 1 v1.1, get her a name already ! Ok, yeah that's one "I'm going to gut you" look, alright, can't pick any flaws on this morph, really.
Elf #2 sadface looks sad. But maybe she has reasons to be. Just one thing, this one displays a noticeable 'curved-inward' jawline if you see what I mean and it looks somewhat off. There's various ways this could be arranged with their own side-effects, I'm sure you'll find a way to arrange that if you feel like I do.
@mighmagix : Good face too, strong looking, attractive woman with a fierce glare, minimal makeup, she doesn't need any more. Now, I wouldn't have put a dalish tatoo on a human (that's a human, right ? can't see the ears) this detail aside, it actually looks good on her. You could make it a bit more visible though (slider +20% up ?). Since the eyes are somewhat small and the nose a respectable size, I'd try to bring the eyes a *little* closer to the nose to see if it improves the overall look of the face. I do not mean you should change the size of either eyes or nose, though, I think they work perfectly well as they are.
@Yasuraka
Jenyr : Okay, saying she looks kinda like your Leliana is probably an understatement. Yeah, I don't really have anything to say, it looks flawless. Beautiful eyes, nice smile. That's a nice tatoo too, did you make that ? Another question : I think the hair is from tmp7704's Leliana morph, but the one I have doesn't feature the typical braid on the left side. Is it this one hairmod ?
Relina: hmm serious, are we ?
@Avatarhunter:
When I look at sylvia I see Shiani with different hair, well, that's largely due to the innocent-looking eye shape 3 and it's not really a bad thing considering that's, IMO, one of the best morphs from the vanilla game. So yeah, she looks very nice.
...and that's it for the last 24 hours. I keep getting disturbed so it really took a lot of time to put this post together...

Fiddle with eyebrow color, make the eyes a wee bit bigger, maybe eye color change (or lightening of it?) on Relina. forgive me for my brain is half dead after work, opaque?

Okay, here's my attempt at a male elf. Just a little background: he's a city elf who has had a rough life (hence the scars). Because of such, I wanted him to look kind of sad - almost melancholy. In the words of Alice in Chains, "I'm the dog who gets beat."
So, without further ado, here is my male elf Sad Panda:

I already see that his neck needs to be thicker, but any and all suggestions will be most welcome!
Edit: V 1.1 - lowered eyes, fixed lowered eyebrows, widened neck, raised jaw, raised mouth and nose, and reduced gauntness of his cheeks.

@ZephSunstrider : Overall, in the future, it would help if you could provide somewhat more up-close shots of your characters.
Bartoc: I like the design as a whole (Duncan might have had an epic beard, but it's his hair that serves us the most). However, there's one thing that puts me off in this one as well as the others : the tatoo color. It's very saturated, and not very tatoo-like at all. In a previous post, Petehog mentionned how he thinks tatoos should either be absent or clearly visible and I agree with this, but in your case, I think you went overboard, it's so visible it eclipses the rest of the face.

The screenshots I picked were not posed in any way, they're off Story Progress points. I just felt like throwing my most recent bunch in here, and just went with what I had.
The bold tattoo is kinda a thing I have. Whereever I can (and/or is applicable), I go with a tattoo (or scar) over the right eye. If I can manipulate it, I even choose a very certain shape (The Eye of Tzeentch), and I prefer them rather visible.
The purple lipstick was a choice between three evils. If I had the tar-black lipstick color of my Mass Effect FemShep, I'd have taken that. Or a saturate blue (yes, I like blue). Sadly, the bluest here is a icy-frosty-light blue that didn't work, and the "black" is a dark brown.
And Nat's eyes... well, I insisted on using that red dragon-shape eye from that one eye package, and basically built the face around these eyes. Again, the lipstick was a bad gut-choice.
I thank you for the criticism

Sad Panda looks the part well! I can only imagine what trauma musta followed the obtainment of those Scars! Funnily enough, those same Scars are giving me difficulty in gauging the Cheek area to determine if it could use some touch up or not. I can't tell if the Cheeks are a tad over-poofy, or if the Scars are making them look that way. He fits his Character well otherwise.
_Loc_N_lol_: Many thanks for the feedback! The Tattoo was experimentation to see if I could make a large Tattoo that could look awesome & pretty without overwhelming the Face, but it should be easy to temporarily neutralize the Opacity so I can turn it off without losing the Settings, then I can deal with the Design at another time. I fully expect Anri to take plenty of Revisions, partially because i'm not gifted at making lookers, & partially because i'm not gifted at making Elves. The Ears, I just plain don't know what i'm doing with, I don't have a clue what makes Elf Ears look good or not so. Now that I think of it, earlier in this Thread was a Link that goes to an article on differences in male & Female Human Facial Features that's useful for help in making Human Faces more accurately. Oh cool! I just looked through my Bookmarks & I still got it, but I don't have credit for the original discovery of this Article: Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS) and Male and Female Faces. We need something similar for Faces of Dalish Elves, City Elves, & Dwarves for people like me that are Anatomically Challenged.
Petehog: Ahh, I was having trouble remembering how to spell the name. 'Garrett', it's a cool name! I have respect for all 3 Archetypes, but sadly, I only have secondary ability at Stealth & Magic. My home archetype is 'Warrior'. Even though I never managed to beat Thief 1, I still enjoyed it. At least I can spell 'Rogue' correctly!

You can turn them into presets, but like I said, I usually just import the new .mor over the pre-exisitng head.
Thanks for the input, I'll add an updated 3/4 view to give you a better idea
