I can get on the home screen (log in, options,create new character) but every time i click create new character, as soon as the tip at the top of the screen pops up, it freezes, then turns white and black about 4 times before my computer shuts down after getting a blue screen. any ideas?

Is that even a dedicated graphics card?

I don't think it supports hardware accelerated texture and lighting.

I too would guess it's your video card, although in theory DX9 compatable my research was unable to show which version of DX9. This might be fixed by them producing a new driver for you video card but don't count on it.

you could try setting all options to minimum first.
